29/11/2025: Really delicious pastries and a cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff, but unfortunately you have to wait a long time for service even though there are many people at work. In addition, it is really a shame that you can't sit there and work for longer than 45 minutes without continuing to buy something.

18/11/2025: Super delicious bread. Unfortunately, the clerks are not in a hurry and you have to be lucky to be welcomed. I always feel like I'm disturbing them in the middle of an important conversation about something private.

16/03/2025: Hotel Villa Provence in Aarhus is a charming and atmospheric hotel with a fantastic location in the heart of the city. With plenty of good restaurants and shops just around the corner. The room was nice and cosy, and the hotel's French-inspired style provided a complete and authentic experience. Especially in the summer, the hotel will come into its own when the beautiful courtyard can be enjoyed to the fullest. The service was also welcoming and polite. A nice detail was the "newspaper" i.a. with the hotel's history. However, there are small things that can be improved. The breakfast area can feel a bit cramped and the temperature of the bath water was not always stable. The room was cold on arrival, and small practical details such as a too short cable for the kettle could be optimised. Another small thing is that not all guests like to mix drinks themselves - here it could be an advantage to point out that the staff are happy to help when they have time. All in all, Villa Provence is a wonderful experience, especially for those who value charm, personal atmosphere and good location.

30/08/2025: We were a group of 55 people, and we were more than satisfied with the food and the service. They have handled an unforgettable evening for all of us. We have enjoyed it both adults and children. The food was beyond expectations. We got all types of barbecue meat, the kebab was very fresh and delicious, marinated chicken, sausages and much more. The dessert was fantastic, vanilla ice cream with rhubarb dressing😋. So tasty. Thank you to the restaurant, thank you to the staff who were smiling and helpful.

18/08/2025: I ordered a "BigBoi burger" with 2x 140g beef patties, but got a large burger with four dry 70g patties instead. The lettuce was just a single thin leaf that looked strangely dark, and the bread was dry. The food was delivered from a small food truck, where the staff stood around burping, and gloves were not changed between cash payment and cooking. All in all a disappointing experience - definitely not something I would recommend.

02/12/2025: The rooms are nice and clean but the windows are so bad and leaky that it feels like cars and buses are driving through the room. This really detracts from the otherwise good experience the hotel has to offer. The room was facing the Jyskebank side.

21/10/2025: We had bought a deal with a fixed menu without knowing what it consisted of. So personally I might not have had any expectations. But it was a super nice three course meal. Good autumn menu! Definitely a place to recommend.

13/10/2025: We ordered pizzas from Sharwarma Eliten for an event and it was a huge success! Everyone loved them and there was a lot of talk about how delicious they were. The crust was crispy, the filling was fresh and flavorful, and there was something for everyone. The best part? The next day we ate the leftovers for lunch, and even then the pizzas were still insanely good. That's saying a lot! Highly recommended for both everyday and festive occasions. We will definitely order from here again!

23/09/2025: Brabrand's best shawarma. In fact, one of the better ones in Aarhus. Burger is also ok for the price. Never tasted their pizza. There is often a wait at mealtime. I have also experienced that they have run out of ingredients if you come late.

12/12/2025: Everything, except for the sushi, tasted really good. Large and delicious selection of appetizers, especially their kimchi was good, good desserts and many drinks to choose from. Since it was sushi we had gone to town for, it is a shame that that part of the menu was lacking. Too much and incorrectly prepared rice compared to the other ingredients ruined the taste. We do not recommend coming here for the sushi. Good service and atmosphere, however a very noisy room.

01/12/2025: Bad food poisoning and unaccountable staff. I eat Sushi many times a year, have a great appetite and a very tolerant stomach. I went to oishii suhsi on the 26. of November. I had not eaten anything 4 hours prior to the visit. I Had the ‘all you can eat sushi’ with water on the side. Ate nothing after the dinner and went to bed. In the middle of the night 7 hours after my dinner at oishii sushi I got a bad food poisoning that lasted for 16 hours. I periodically threw up once every 1 or 2 hours and had to lie in bed for the whole following day. When I contacted oishii sushi they took zero responsibility - they said that I just had a sensitive stomach to raw fish.

14/11/2025: Very welcoming and friendly staff. It didn't take me more than 15 minutes before I decided that this would be my new regular place :)
