De bedste restauranter i Aarhus

26/03/2025: I am a big fan of artisanal roasteries. The café's shop is very nicely designed, located in the back courtyard of an old building. Unfortunately, the staff seemed a bit arrogant. I expressed my delight at the café's beautiful design and the silver color of the roaster, which I have only seen in black before. The answer was: yes, very impressive one! ... no, just a different color. All roasters have one of these or larger. When I asked for a glass of water, I was told that they only sell it in bottles. A simple espresso costs 30 DKK and I don't get a glass of water with it. That's not smart financially, but important because of the way it neutralizes the oral cavity. The website says that the owner has won eight awards. I don't find that impressive; it's bragging to put it in the spotlight like that. Sorry, the coffee is not my cup of tea.

25/03/2025: I went to a concert to hear Michelle Birkeballe - the concert was great - great atmosphere and great music, but the venue is not suitable for so many people - we were squeezed in - it ruined the experience a bit

26/03/2025: Terrible experience I had. We were ordering to share and had a big group split into two tables to order, 4 and 5 people respectively. My table of four decided to get some sticks to try and share and we decided to have 1 of each flavour as they had 5 flavours and they mentioned maximum of 5 per person, so in total 20 sticks. We were told it would get cold and they would serve ten, but to our surprise what came was 10 sticks of each flavour so 50 in total!!! We were told that we ordered that which did not really make sense as you could only order 5 per person. They told us to share it and we tried our best but it’s huge and dry chicken and we left 5 sticks. Our friends beside us ordered starters and was misheard and got 16 pieces of sushi and they also had to try and finish. We couldn’t do it and they ended up charging us for leftover food waste. We mentioned this at the counter and the cashier just said he didn’t serve us and he couldn’t confirm what we said was true. Ridiculous. Terrible service, mediocre food. TLDR; Got a massive wrong order, didn’t try much sushi only sticks, didn’t get offered to return items to the kitchen or anything else, cashier didn’t give a shit about this and didn’t bother to confirm it and charged leftovers.

03/03/2025: Restaurant with beautiful fun decor and good music as a backdrop. Super delicious starter (veal with pickled beech hats), main course was ok (chicken confit) and dessert (tiramisu) was also delicious. Cute waiter.

18/03/2025: If you are into expensive mini golf, but WHOLE 9 holes, sharks golf is for you! Personally, I would recommend that you go downstairs and play pool instead. The atmosphere is high and there is the correct number of holes on the course.

15/02/2025: the best arabic food i ate in aarhus. fresh, perfectly seasoned, meat grilled over live fire. nice restaurant decor and very nice service. short waiting time. I recommend it to everyone. I will definitely come back.

22/02/2025: Loved the sourdough pizzas which actually reminded me about the beautiful Napoli pizzerias. We had Margherita and Kylling pesto - both were good, chewy crust and fresh bread, would love to come back to try more from their menus.

13/12/2024: The worst pizza I have ever had at a restaurant. A so-called tenderloin pizza, where 5 lumps of meat lay screaming at each other. It tasted vague, but not of tenderloin and the rest of the pizza was completely bland.

06/03/2025: Listen, really delicious pizza, but! You always have to wait... it's fair that you're in a hurry, that's just fine, but be realistic about when collection will take place. Never got the food without at least a 15 minute delay, and there are many of us standing in the queue. Just say you are in a hurry and write later collection. Good pizza tho

28/03/2025: What a treat it's been to stay here for my birthday break. It's quite a trek from coppenhagen airport but worth it for the location, vicinity and services. The room was large and bright, we had a balcony and could see beautiful sunsets. It's close by for exploring Aarhus, which is a sweet town, steeped in interesting history. The hotel was bright and modern with very attentive staff who were multilingual. Nothing was too much trouble for them. And the breakfast 😋 WOW what an extensive choice and beautifully cooked. So much to choose from, which catered for many diets - I'm can be quite a fussy eater and found loads to eat from their selection. I had read that the breakfasts were good here and still exceeded my expectations. We had peaceful nights sleep and lovely warm showers here. The products they provide smelt gorgeous - you can even purchase them here too. I can highly recommend this hotel. There are museums, theatres, resteraunts, bars, the docks and children's play area all within a 5 to 15 minutes walk. Thank you for a superb experience.

27/03/2025: It is a good place and the breakfast is wonderful. Needed more coffee in the room, there was only one cup for each over 2 days. Could have used a table instead of a desk with only 1 chair. The soap, shampoo and conditioner for the bath were great!

14/03/2025: Great little stop for a brilliant Big and fresh Pita. The owner is lovely - the shop is so clean and we highly recommend!!!
