11/10/2026: A wide selection of their own craft beers on tap. Very helpful service. Small but excellent menu. Our pizzas were delicious. We got a table at 4:20 pm without a reservation until 6:30 pm, but it's best to reserve for dinner. Kitchen opens at 5:00 pm.

07/10/2026: It looks cozy from the outside, but it was almost impossible to have a conversation inside because of the acoustics. There were only 4-5 different pizzas to choose from. The Margherita pizza was nice enough, the other two were hard to get through as they lacked acidity. Otherwise excellent pizzas.

21/06/2026: We got take away rolls with kebab from Marcel’s and oh my how delicious they were 😍😍😍 They were actually the best Shawarma we’ve ever had. The bread tasted really good and the filling was sooooo yummy 🤤 There was plenty of meat and we were quite excited about the selection of fresh vegetables. So thank you for the really lovely food ❤️

28/07/2026: Tasty food, especially the grilled dishes. Cozy little place with open kitchen and tasteful decor. The waiter was a bit too cocky and couldn't read the table, and the portions could have been a little bigger.

29/09/2026: We visited Saray Kebab in Aarhus with our family on a Sunday lunchtime and had a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is functional and rather simply furnished, but overall clean and comfortable. The menu is clearly laid out and includes pictures, so you can quickly get a good impression of the dishes on offer. The selection includes typical Turkish dishes. We particularly appreciated being able to see the fresh ingredients, including skewers, meat, and various side dishes, in a refrigerated display case right after entering. This allows you to see what's available and what you'll receive before even ordering. Our portions were very generous, well-presented, and offered excellent value for money. We found the prices to be very reasonable and appropriate for the quality and portion sizes. The service deserves special mention. The owner served us personally and was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Even as a family with children, we felt very welcome. The free parking in the courtyard is also a convenient feature. Overall, Saray Kebab comes highly recommended for anyone who appreciates hearty Turkish dishes, moderate prices, and exceptionally friendly service. We will gladly return on our next visit to Aarhus.

09/04/2026: Always a pleasure to visit Olive. I actually don't understand how you can have such good quality for that price. At the same time excellent service! Our table reservation was cancelled due to illness at the last minute, but then we were offered free service the following day. It's a service you don't get anywhere else. Will always recommend this place <3

27/03/2026: Maria, who runs the restaurant and cooks the food herself, is simply amazing. The food tastes AMAZING, you feel at home, the acoustics are good and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. We enjoy it every time we eat there. You can bring your own wine, so the price level is as you wish ❤️ Monday - Thursday you can get 3 courses for 295, that's a really good price for such delicious food!

11/10/2026: Well made cocktails on the inventive menu along with the cosy setting of an old pharmacy make for a great place to spent the evening. I didn’t try the food, but the cocktails were well made and made me want to come back for some of the more extreme ones. Friendly quick service.

27/08/2026: Today I was online and I seen this she claims to be the head chef at this restaurant. Making nasty comments like this online about a couple that is going through life changing battle with their surrogate it’s really sad that she will spill hate amongst a family that couldn’t naturally produced children, I wouldn’t want anyone like this, making my food. So if you as a family, a woman ever struggle to have a child know the head chef of this restaurant feel this way so un tasteful….

07/09/2026: Their chili burger is amazing. You think it's expensive, but the taste is. However, I think their coffee tastes like their machine isn't cleaned and they charge 10kr for water even though you've paid 250kr for food, smoothie, coffee, so it's a bit unsmart

26/08/2026: What I love about Strandvejens bakery is that their prices are not completely outrageous. Granted, it has become expensive to buy bakery bread, but they are not as expensive as their competitors further down the road. We were there for a morning special, which was a roll, a cake and a cup of coffee. The clerk didn't ask if we were eating with them, or taking it with us, so we weren't asked if we wanted cheese etc. but we thought it was a really good price, nice clerk, and we enjoyed our order outside in the sun 🌞
