03/09/2025: Sherlock Holmes is a really cozy and atmospheric pub. If you come outside rush hour, there is plenty of space. The bar is good and has a good and wide selection of beers. Not quite up to snuff with the best specialty beers, but very good. The service is good and they can give recommendations for their beers. I don't think they have food. There is often sports on screens and a big screen, so if you are into that, there is a good atmosphere in the place. The style of the furniture is nice English style. But ok - some of the chairs have really seen better days and should definitely be replaced (!). Sherlock Holmes is a cozy, centrally located place and absolutely ideal if you want to meet colleagues for a Friday beer, or if you want to start somewhere before a larger city tour. Can definitely be recommended 👍

26/08/2025: A lovely cup of coffee, tasty chai latte and really fresh and juicy pastries (albeit bakeoff), but I have had significantly more boring and dry croissants & cinnamon rolls from bakeries in Aarhus. I will happily come back! Vestergade is a super cozy street, and Bills coffee is a phenomenal place to sit and enjoy a coffee with a sweet treat Even more positive for me is that I get to have my four-legged friend with me 🐶

13/04/2026: Too uncommitted both in terms of food quality and service.. Watered down, greasy and oily.. There are just many better alternatives in Aarhus

10/04/2026: There were two of us, and we both got a pizza, which tasted great. The service was good and service-minded, and there wasn't a long wait for the food.

25/08/2025: We went to a wine bar this weekend as part of a stag party. The concept is super nice with really nice prizes and a nice atmosphere, but it was a bit of a strange start, as the stag party that had booked the same concept had not finished their bar when we were about to start ours. We had very different energy and noise levels, so it would have been more ideal if the bar had adhered to the times that had been set. Another slightly unfortunate thing was that there were almost as many of us on non-alcoholic as on regular wine, but only the wine with alcohol was presented. So it became a bit of a "second-class feeling" to be the half without alcohol. The guys who acted as ushers, however, should otherwise be highly praised for their energy and good mood.

29/10/2025: Not sure if “corn pancake” should be the description of this dish, as it resembled more a corn omelette than anything else. But linguistics aside, this majspandekage filled with chicken was superb, so savoury, and also fulfilling. The smoothie full of green “goodies” was a nice pair to the already healthy meal. An honourable mention to the friendly waitress, she was super super friendly 😊

02/08/2025: Coming from Toronto. Love the shisha. Love the vibe. Found my happy place in Aarhus. Shisha is smooth, drinks are great. Staff is awesome.

05/12/2025: We had to try a new place and unfortunately chose here. We got 2 pizzas to share, we have never experienced such a bad pair of pizzas. Save your money and buy a frozen pizza

16/01/2026: Super cozy place down by the water, where you can enjoy coffee or light meals with a view of the marina. The atmosphere is relaxed, and it's a perfect stop on a walk along the harbor.

07/01/2026: Very cozy place, where we came into the warmth on a cold day, had hot cocoa with whipped cream and could look out over the water and the harbor while the boat rocked a little every time people got on the boat.

04/10/2025: We had burgers, and they were suuuuuper tasty and plentiful! All the young people on duty were very friendly and accommodating. We'd go back anytime 😋

30/09/2025: I often buy their poke bowl and they are always wonderfully fresh and freshly prepared. Try the one with plant-based "chicken" it is wonderfully easy to digest if you have a sensitive stomach.

07/11/2025: I have to revise the previous review that I leave anyway below. Good pizza, but shockingly rude service I went there tonight with a friend. We arrived at 7:55 PM, placed our order, paid, and were told we could sit down, but that the restaurant would close at 8:30 PM. Our pizzas arrived (a bit burnt on the bottom, but tasty overall). At 8:27 PM, while we were eating the very last slice, the waitress came over and told us we had to leave. We said we just needed two more minutes to finish, but she handed us a takeaway box and literally kicked us out, so we ended up finishing our pizza outside on the street. I understand if they wanted to close early (maybe because of J-dag), but you don’t throw customers out with a slice of pizza still on their plate. The pizzas are good, but with service this rude and unprofessional, I’ll never go back. ⸻ The five stars for the food are for the “antico napoli” pizza (it should be anticA Napoli). The other “danish” style pizza I have no idea. We have been there on a Friday night, rainy, with lots of people waiting for their to go pizza and some wolts. It was hectic so our pizza was delayed but we got a free dessert and the waitress was so kind. That means: it’s 100%worth the visit, avoid rush-hours and enjoy one of the more authentic pizza

26/09/2025: From the outside, this place may not look like anything special. But don't be fooled! When you step through the worn-out entrance, you are transported into a nostalgic atmosphere of pizza as it was made in childhood. No fancy boys with sourdough bases and expensive prices. Just delicious pizza as we know it and at a reasonable price. I thought you had to go to Alanya pizzaria in Brovst to get this experience, but apparently it is possible in Aarhus 🔥🔥🔥

31/08/2025: Super cozy place with lots of seating. I ordered both their Parisian toast and Nabo toast. Both tasted super good and were warm so the cheese flowed, personally I prefer the Nabo toast, it just had a perfect flavor profile. Both toasts were a little oily but you can't completely avoid that. I'd love to come back🥰
