12/08/2025: Very nice place with delicious vegan food! Highly recommended.

10/08/2025: I tried to get some info about the menu and was charged for the very expensive buffet at 165dkk which was different than what I wanted. I was given a plate for the buffet and saw there was barely anything left and they never refilled the buffet. No cheese, no bread, basically just a couple of boring salads. At least the hummus and dips were good but for the price that was disappointing. I visited on June 14.

07/12/2025: It's again, just fast food. Sunset has the best fries, but I personally don't like their apple cake milkshake. But wait, how expensive has it become. When Sushi ad libitum has become cheaper per person, it's getting too much. But maybe sunset is just more expensive in Aarhus.

17/10/2025: Ordered a sandwich with extra bacon and cheese. Funny enough, there was one slice of bacon in it, so where was the extra? Also, the sandwich was almost ice cold. (way too cold)

25/10/2025: Really nice place, there are lots of kebabs in the rolls and they fill you up well. I love their prom fries which are wonderfully spicy.

04/11/2025: This place are MASTERPIECE!! I love that food and the sushi are already good to eat! And makes me full quickly and best thing you can do is start to grilled and the buffet are S U P E R delicious and oh my Mac and cheese this is lovely! Bring your family to eat there! Is more good time having your day

04/11/2025: best Chinese buffet i’ve ever eaten I recommend you come and eat here they have so many great varieties to choose including a Mongolian barbecue where if you ask them to grill your meat that you choose they will do it for you while you watch them grill it and not to mention that the place is so cheap you won’t ever look at other Chinese buffets again after you come and eaten here and it’s a great place for kids as well with many varieties for kids to choose from foods to even desserts and ice creams as well and if you’re a hungry beast like me who hasn’t eaten anything since breakfast and want something for cheap go to this all you can eat Chinese buffet and it even has a playroom for children’s to play to keep themselves entertained and it’s 100% wheelchair friendly as well and if you’re a smoker it even has a designated smoking room as well from outside 12/10 would recommend 🔥

17/11/2025: It hurts to have to do this review, as Monk probably has the best BMO in Aarhus, but after coming many times before noon and finding that they have sold out of BMOs more than half the time, I have to give them 3 stars. I have stopped wanting to go there, as they are probably sold out anyway. It has happened as early as 10am. It is disappointing. Unfortunately.

16/09/2025: Small shop, inside not so many tables, industrial chic. Very nice tables outside to enjoy the sunshine on good days. Service is friendly, sometimes a bit slow. Excellent coffee though and great pastries.

24/09/2025: Best way to disconnect, You'll forget about everything there. The materials, tools and colors are perfect. The staff were so friendly as well. I'll definitely go there again.

02/11/2025: On our Sunday afternoon stroll, we sought to escape the noise of the city center, but unfortunately ended up on Aarhus Ø, where everything is even noisier. We sought shelter from concrete, construction and bourgeois election posters. Luckily, we came across the Generations House, where a well-meaning young person immediately saw us and our needs. Before we could even lower our shoulders, we were offered coffee. Wonderful. Monica (the waiter) created a relaxed atmosphere and a safe space in which we could enjoy the coffee and each other's company. Øens madhus (and Monica) only wish you the best

04/10/2025: We had burgers, and they were suuuuuper tasty and plentiful! All the young people on duty were very friendly and accommodating. We'd go back anytime 😋

30/09/2025: I often buy their poke bowl and they are always wonderfully fresh and freshly prepared. Try the one with plant-based "chicken" it is wonderfully easy to digest if you have a sensitive stomach.

05/01/2026: Super good for the money, there is both good Sushi, buffet, Mongolian grill, dessert and coffee. Drinks are bought next door) However, an oil with lots of ginger pieces is missing😍 The service is really good and we have held several family get-togethers there. 😊

29/12/2025: Unfortunately not a good experience. Sushi did not taste fresh. Breaded chicken was soft and not crispy at all. Noodles were spaghetti. Sweet and sour sauce did not taste good. I had to make an effort to find some food that did not taste bad or otherwise tasted too old or strange. On the other hand, the ice cream buffet was really good! And the service was nice. But I came there for the first and last time yesterday.. unfortunately.

04/01/2026: Mediocre food and poor service. Fried kale was so salty it was inedible. Not the best atmosphere - white tablecloths on the tables covered with plastic placemats. For that price (250-300 per person) you should rather go to other similar restaurants in Aarhus.

20/12/2025: Had the 8 course Christmas menu which tasted fantastic. The service was really good, with lots of humor.

15/07/2025: The food is delicious and there is 'honor in the profession', which can be felt: fresh salad (as if it was cut just before being put in the burger/pita). Could other places learn something from it. And I don't know what it is that does it, but I never feel overeaten or 'fat' after the food, like you can in other places. Maybe it's because of the fresh ingredients. I don't know, but it's delicious. Their toast is also fantastic! I don't think I've ever had a bad experience down there. The only downside is that the place needs a little loving care - it's not super fun to eat down there.

16/06/2025: Nydelig mat! Veldig god carpaccio til forrett og en stor porsjon med perfekt tilberedt oksekjøtt til hovedrett. Crispy chips og en luftig bernaise som gjorde dette til en svært god opplevelse. Vi fikk også en god start med bobler og dansk flagg på bordet! Hyggelige priser og store porsjoner med mat.

14/06/2025: Maden var god, servicen og stemningen i top, priserne rimelige. Men akustikken var elendig og gjorde det svært at høre, hvad sidemanden sagde. Jeg kunne godt finde på at booke her igen, men så ville det være på en af de roligere dage… måske i dagstid.

25/08/2025: Truly the best tacos and burritos we've ever eaten! A huge compliment to the chef and a definite recommendation for everyone else.

08/08/2025: On recomendation from the staff i have ordered taco mix and they were THE best tacos of my life.
