10/12/2025: Always welcoming and sweet service, good atmosphere and reasonable prices. Got a super delicious panini with good, fresh ingredients. Their brownie is also really good!

07/12/2025: The food was delicious, however the Bearnaise sauce was not optimal, it looked more like egg white with flavor.

17/11/2025: It hurts to have to do this review, as Monk probably has the best BMO in Aarhus, but after coming many times before noon and finding that they have sold out of BMOs more than half the time, I have to give them 3 stars. I have stopped wanting to go there, as they are probably sold out anyway. It has happened as early as 10am. It is disappointing. Unfortunately.

16/09/2025: Small shop, inside not so many tables, industrial chic. Very nice tables outside to enjoy the sunshine on good days. Service is friendly, sometimes a bit slow. Excellent coffee though and great pastries.

30/11/2024: Got the smash burger as take-away. Super nice, beef was very crisp, but a bit on the salty side for my taste. Sauce in the bruger was very delicious and the buns was soft and fresh.

23/12/2025: Local eatery close to our overnight stay. Chose burger instead of pizza as otherwise planned. Okay burger, not so keen on brioche bun. Clean and okay toilet. Not a place to go out and eat. But a light dinner okay

15/11/2025: Great atmosphere! A very large selection of beer and delicious food – I recommend the Fish & Chips. Everything is served efficiently and beautifully. Friendly service. I recommend it 🍺

13/11/2025: I was standing at the bar having a drink with a couple of good friends when a bouncer came crashing into me, causing me to drop my drink. I asked what he was going to do about it, to which he replied: "It was just a shame". I also think it was a shame, when the place is otherwise a nice atmosphere. 😊

27/08/2025: Vestervang is a Folkested, where many different things happen. There is a group for women and a group for men. There are lectures, films, banco games, readings, watercolor painting, knitting club and several other things. Some things are free and others cost a little to attend. The café is well visited, there is delicious food and good coffee at reasonable prices.

02/01/2026: We ordered two lunch cheeseburger menus at 3:35 PM where there was only one other party of 4 other guests who had already ordered before we arrived. After 25 minutes, neither they nor we had received our food. We therefore left before the food was ready as we did not have time to wait any longer and had thus wasted our money. Can recommend Kødstadens Burger Joint instead. They make a burger in 10-15 minutes even when the store is busy. No food = no stars from here.

13/12/2025: Their vegetarian burgers are delicious and halal. The sauces are free; I especially recommend trying the tarragon mayonnaise.

23/02/2026: Absolutely wonderful experience. We went to try their brunch. Good food, nice staff and nice atmosphere. The only problem was the toilets, which were quite annoyingly designed. For example, you had to sit crooked in the ladies' toilet, because otherwise you would get a sink in your side. But otherwise a really nice restaurant.

09/08/2025: Came in with a huge bias and thought another generic bar/Cafe concept. I only got wine but a huge plus for Taylors LBV at 64 Kr. for a glass and free Danish water ❤️ the service is friendly, fast and with personality. 5/5

08/08/2025: We got a fish soup as a main course. The portion was very small and lukewarm. On the bottom of the plate was cheese (it looked like grated cheddar from a bag) and what was called chili mayo (it looked and tasted more like buko pikant). Then you got 3 small spoonfuls of fish stock with tomato and onion on top. I really had a hard time tasting the fish, the soup quickly mixed with the big lump of cheese and buko pinkant-like substance. It turned into a disgusting mass that separated and pulled threads. I ate about 1/4, but still left feeling slightly nauseous. They claim that it is Latin's fish soup, -I can't recognize that at all.

15/11/2025: So what can you say? They just do what they have to do. Good food (especially the cheeseburger), great service, fast delivery. I've been ordering from them for six months, and they're consistently good. Their food probably won't win any awards, but that's not the point. They deliver an above-average product at a good price, and I have a lot of respect for that. A good, solid piece of work.

18/01/2026: We had dinner there on Friday night. The food was nice enough, but the service was non-existent. The waitress Anna who "served" us seemed grumpy and as if she absolutely didn't want to be at work. It ruined our overall impression of the place.

15/01/2026: Worst experience I've had to date. First of all, it was very cold by the window, as it seemed to be leaking. We arrived at 12:00 - ten minutes before our reservation. After that, we waited 20 minutes to be served. Shortly after, our drinks arrived, as expected. But it took about 50 minutes from ordering to our food, and we had to go up and ask for it. When the food arrived, I said that my beer was flat from standing and waiting for the food - large beer, which was otherwise well paid. I asked nicely if we could have coffee on the house, as compensation for the wait. The waiter replied, "we can say that". The coffee never came. When paying, I told the other waiter the above, who sternly told me that I had to remember that there was only 1 man in the kitchen, and they had a short service shortly before us, and that's just the way it is. The first waiter also approaches and says that I could just come up and order my coffee - even though I had asked for it as compensation at the table. If I had been given a to-go coffee and an apology, the experience would have been different. But there was a generally bad atmosphere in there due to the long wait, which the employees certainly did not make up for with their service. Worst café visit I have ever experienced.

19/11/2025: We were crammed far too many people into a small room. I know they don't get subsidies, so they have to sell a lot of tickets. But this was way over the limit. You couldn't get out if you had to go to the toilet, for example. Not entirely sure that the fire regulations were complied with. They get 2 stars for a terrific Henning Stærk

05/10/2025: Excellent pizza. We tried both their pizza and Turkish Pide. Nice staff, with many years of experience in the area. Fresh ingredients. Reasonable prices. Nice space, good parking in front.

18/09/2025: If I could have given 0 stars, they would have. I have never experienced such poor service and the pizzas were also terrible... we got one pizza too small and we got 4 identical pizzas that we had not ordered.
