28/06/2026: As I told the chef this restaurant should be packed. It is this quiet and perfect. I had the wheal steak, it was perfect. Good Redwine and good dessert. But stille to little people in a fantastic nice restaurant.

17/05/2026: The steakhouse is centrally located in Aarhus, right next to the town hall. We enjoyed delicious burgers here on a public holiday. The service was friendly and the food arrived quickly. Both burgers (one regular, one veggie) were tasty. The meat was juicy and the veggie burger was also very flavorful. The fries were delicious. For my taste, the burgers were missing the classic toppings of tomato and cucumber. They only had iceberg lettuce on them, which seemed a bit uninspired. The chili fries were also tasty, as was the bread served at the beginning. The atmosphere is pleasant. The two of us paid €75 for two burgers and two drinks.

07/05/2026: Dear MASH Steakhouse, I am writing to make a serious complaint regarding a visit to your restaurant on May 3rd, where I had dinner with my girlfriend. My girlfriend suffers from an allergy to chives, and this was made very clear to the waiter when ordering. She ordered your “MASH Tatar” as a starter, and we specifically emphasized that the dish should be served without chives. The waiter confirmed that this was noted and understood, and that there would be no chives in the dish. Unfortunately, it turned out that the dish did contain chives. This caused a serious allergic reaction in my girlfriend, who has subsequently been hospitalized for the past three days. We are very shocked and disappointed by the incident. When a guest discloses an allergy, one naturally expects this to be taken very seriously, as the consequences can be life-threatening — as this case unfortunately clearly demonstrates. I would therefore like to request: An explanation of how this error could have occurred. A statement of your procedures for handling allergens. Information on what steps you will take to ensure that similar situations do not happen to other guests in the future. 03/09/2025: Sherlock Holmes is a really cozy and atmospheric pub. If you come outside rush hour, there is plenty of space. The bar is good and has a good and wide selection of beers. Not quite up to snuff with the best specialty beers, but very good. The service is good and they can give recommendations for their beers. I don't think they have food. There is often sports on screens and a big screen, so if you are into that, there is a good atmosphere in the place. The style of the furniture is nice English style. But ok - some of the chairs have really seen better days and should definitely be replaced (!). Sherlock Holmes is a cozy, centrally located place and absolutely ideal if you want to meet colleagues for a Friday beer, or if you want to start somewhere before a larger city tour. Can definitely be recommended 👍

18/08/2025: I ordered a "BigBoi burger" with 2x 140g beef patties, but got a large burger with four dry 70g patties instead. The lettuce was just a single thin leaf that looked strangely dark, and the bread was dry. The food was delivered from a small food truck, where the staff stood around burping, and gloves were not changed between cash payment and cooking. All in all a disappointing experience - definitely not something I would recommend.

15/12/2025: Small mediocre restaurant, fairly decent sushi, their so-called chili mayo had nothing to do with mayo, it was thin and made from some sour milk product, probably sour cream. The chopsticks were of such poor quality that I considered using my fingers instead.

06/06/2026: Good clean rooms. Expensive parking. Food menu not a great choice. Expensive. But very good quality.

12/04/2026: A beautifully situated hotel. Most rooms have sea views, which is definitely worthwhile if the weather is good. The interior is a bit dated, but it has everything you need. You can easily walk into town; it takes about 15 minutes to reach the center.
