12/09/2025: Worst manaish. I ordered a mix where they usually put zatar in with enough cheese in other places, here they spread the zatar on the dough so you can hardly see it or taste it, on top of that they use rapeseed oil instead of olive oil! You almost only eat dough!

11/10/2025: It is a nice pub, with nice atmosphere, specially for karaoke night. However, you will struggle to participate in the karaoke unless you are danish. I have been here several times, and this has been my impression, but the las time really kicked it out of the stadium. We enqueued some songs for the karaoke (nothing exotic, toto, queen, and others) and they were instantly rejected. They told me they got rejcted because we were including more than our name in the request (*name* and gang). I pointed out to the guy that there were a few people who already sang with names ending with similar things: *name* and co. . He then proceed to edit their names, while keeping them on the queue. Also, only one of our requests had this format. The others only had my first name: "Jose". So long story short: if your name doesn't sound English/danish, they will just assume it is made up, and will boot you off the list. I guess alternatively you could use a fake name, or you could avoid this place altogether. I think I will be opting for the latter. On previous occasions I learned that you would have to wait sometimes more than an hour to sing anything that is not in danish or English. The previous time I tried, I had to go to the guy to ask wtf happened to my request, after waiting for an hour and a half, and seeing the same people go up to the mic 2 or 3 times. He just said oh yeah right! And pushed me up the list to be next on queue. I suspect he was keeping me last, so I did not even try this last night.

26/09/2025: A friendly British style pub run by an ex-pat who was really nice. A good selection of draft and bottled beers and ciders; a nice atmosphere, we did visit mid-week so it was less busy than usual.

30/10/2025: Unacceptable and Inexplicable Expulsion of Regular Guests! I am appalled by the experience my child and I had on October 30, 2025 at approximately 6 p.m. at Leos Legeland Aarhus. When I approached the cashier to pay the entrance fee, I was greeted by an employee who instructed me to leave the place immediately and that I did not have to pay. When I asked for a reason, I was simply rudely told that she "didn't bother to discuss" it, and I was given no explanation. I strongly suspect that I was mistaken for another customer, as the employee made a series of vague accusations. It is completely unacceptable to treat regular customers in this way. Expelling a child from their favorite place without a valid reason and with such unprofessional communication is highly reprehensible. I expect the management to take care of this matter and provide a real explanation. As it stands now, we are not welcome without reason, which is deeply disappointing.

01/09/2025: Plenty of stuff to try out for 1-2 hours for kids - remember to bring socks 🙂

20/09/2025: Snacks: Few bland oversalted fries (not sweet potatoes as ordered) 2.3 (not 3) pieces of cheap old tasting chicken wings and few sad boring nuts. Where was the Asian touch here? Bowl: sticky rice and dry powdered meat. Lacked the richness of flavor (where were the red chilies for example?) as had before.

11/08/2025: I needed a last decent meal for my weekend stay in Aarhus and I'm very happy I chose Bahn Mi Bandits. After having overeaten at Aarhus Streetfood last night I needed something light but still tasty, and ended up with the veggie Bandit Bowl and a mango fruit drink on the side. My order was ready after a mere five minutes, which was way beyond my expectations do huge shout-out to Theo who served me. He also offered me to sample various hot sauces, and had a super friendly and welcoming vibe. 10/10 will definitely come back if I'm ever in Aarhus again.

12/07/2025: Delicious sushi, fast service, nice and clean. Really good and friendly service from Oliver. Warmest recommendations from here, definitely a place I want to eat again. BAO is sitting right in the cupboard! Really delicious dessert too.

06/09/2025: Been a few times, ok for a beer. Had a cocktail the other night, it didn't really taste of anything, and they use some pre-mixed draft alcohol as the base (apparently it has a bunch of spirits in it?) Avoid, feels like some watering down exercise.

16/10/2025: I give Cafe K Trøjborg 3 out of 5 stars. We visited the cafe for brunch and the experience was average. The food was ok and filling, but did not quite live up to the promising descriptions on the menu. The dishes lacked some of the fresh flavor nuances and creative elements that the menu otherwise suggested, so the overall impression was a bit flat. The service was friendly and accommodating. The staff showed commitment and wanted to help, but it was clear that there were too few employees on duty for the busyness. The wait time was longer than expected, and small details were overlooked along the way. The atmosphere in the cafe felt lukewarm rather than cozy. The room is nicely decorated, but a lack of attention from the staff meant that the atmosphere was not lifted. The price level seems reasonable for the area, but the quality of the food and experience does not justify more than an average rating. Cafe K has potential with a good location and friendly staff. With better staffing and a sharper follow-up on menu quality, the place could easily become a solid brunch choice in Trøjborg. It's a nice place when you want a simple brunch, but not a place you choose for a memorable dining experience.
