22/03/2025: I really like this place and would love to give it five stars, but I did have a frustrating experience when ordering Earl Grey tea. Earl Grey is traditionally served with milk, yet my tea arrived without any, and when I asked for a splash of milk, I was told it cost extra!? I tried to explain that black tea is always served with milk, but instead of just adding a splash of milk, the clerk — a young woman — insisted it wasn’t included, and cost extra. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she simply doesn’t drink tea herself and was misinformed, but it came across as poor customer service. A bit of milk shouldn't be a big deal, especially when it's the norm with this type of tea. Otherwise, it’s a lovely spot, and I hope next time they’ll be a little more accommodating.

19/04/2025: Das Innenraumkinzept ist an sich stimmig. Generell etwas eng und klein, aber vom Style her nett. Geschmacklich ist der Cappuccino ganz gut, allerdings zahlt man dafür hier (auch verhältnismässig) recht viel (46 Kronen). Leider war auch das Personal recht unfreundlich und reserviert... Für den hochpreisigen Kaffee muss man sogar am Tresen bestellen: Ich bestellte dort und wartete dort auch einige Zeit...hier wurde ich leider nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass der Kaffee an den Tisch gebracht wird... Tip: Es gibt genügend bessere Cafés, dann doch lieber ein paar Meter weiter gehen.

10/04/2025: So, so delicious! We always like to come here when we are in Aarhus. We always put together our own porridge. There is a large selection of toppings and each one tastes so delicious, fresh and high quality. The oat waffles are also super tasty. We feel very welcome there with our children and the staff are all super nice.

24/03/2025: They cooked the food for a party and the main course was terrible, the meat was tough and full of tendons - inedible, it was hard to cut and I felt like I was choking on the meat :) Otherwise the rest was really good :)

09/02/2025: Vi besøgte Restaurant Dauphine i forbindelse med Gastro Week, hvor restauranten tilbød en tre-retters menu til 299 kr. En prisvenlig menu, men desværre uden meget “gastro” over oplevelsen. Servicen var generelt venlig og imødekommende, men maden levede ikke op til forventningerne. Forrettens fisk var desværre overtilberedt, hvilket gjorde den tør og kedelig. Den tilhørende porresuppe var nærmest smagsløs og manglede tydeligt salt og tilsmagning. Hovedretten, svinekæbe, var druknet i en alt for dominerende syrlig sauce, som ligeledes savnede balance og krydring. Oven i det blev der hældt endnu en stor klat sauce på retten, hvilket overdøvede smagen fuldstændigt. Tilbehøret bidrog desværre ikke med noget nævneværdigt, da det også manglede smag. Desserten bestod af en stor klump pære, som var tæt på smagsløs og ikke tilført nogen form for dybde eller nuancer. Alt i alt en skuffende madoplevelse. Jeg har forståelse for, at en menu til 299 kr. sætter visse begrænsninger, men på en Århusiansk institution som Dauphine burde man forvente mere – både i smag og udførelse. Vinmenuen var dog et positivt indslag og fint afstemt.

09/05/2025: Rigtig hyggeligt sted, overordentlig sød, venlig og opmærksom betjening. Frokostretten var 3 slags superlækker sild, rigeligt til deling imellem 2, og så “smørrebrød” 1 stk med fantastisk hønsesalat, også til deling. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen

27/04/2025: Just enjoyed the most delicious iced coffee. Next time I will try their homemade Italian ice cream. It looks really delicious and is cheaper than most others

08/03/2025: A wonderful little cozy place, with a charming view of the river. You sit suitably set back from the foot traffic and can just enjoy the free space. I received excellent service - fast, helpful and professional ❤️

25/03/2024: Quite good room and sanitary facilities, the public rooms were slightly inadequate for a hostel. Unfortunately it went bankrupt in the middle of our stay and we were thrown out, so only one star. Looking forward to Book2.

24/11/2024: They make the best aioli I've ever tasted and I'd love to buy tubs of it if they sold this. They make an excellent burger that is, however, best enjoyed on the spot, and faultless fries on top of that. As for the ambiance, it depends a lot on whether you don't mind it being part of a sports hall. But I have never had such delicious food in another hall. I would describe it as a very casual restaurant. I have often been there with the family.

19/11/2024: Really bad customer service! She rolls her eyes when you ask for two extra minutes to think, and doesn't come when you say you're ready, also rolls her eyes again here. A really bad attitude, so you don't want to come again.

26/05/2025: I like the way Espresso House always delivers a nice product. Their lattè in house is way better than other coffee shops. But what makes this location “Rock” was the great service of Essa. Who worked incredibly hard. Both Saturday and Sunday she did a fantastic job!
