06/09/2026: Great experience! The pasta was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and an authentic Italian touch. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable prices. A little taste of Italy in Denmark — definitely recommended!

10/09/2026: Ordered an avocado sandwich, three raspberry slices and an Americano. The sandwich was a rather strange experience. It seemed like a slice of bread with chili, a huge amount of melted cheese and a slightly tomato-like filling. The flavors didn't go well together, and the first bite even contained a piece of burnt bread, probably from the warmer. The Americano was by far the worst, though. It was so thin and tasteless that it mostly tasted like dirty water. I poured it out and made instant coffee at home instead. It was a marked improvement. The raspberry slices were fine. Considering Lagkagehuset's prices, I expect something better than burnt bread and coffee that loses to instant.

15/09/2026: Very delicious and varied! I ordered tteokbokki, bibimbap and fried chicken. Everything was really delicious and I will definitely come back again. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

12/09/2026: We arrived around 9pm and sat on the outdoor seating to have a drink before heading home. It was cold and raining so we found a spot under the heat lamps. My husband went inside to get drinks and in the meantime the doorman came and asked me to go inside and drop our jackets off in the cloakroom. I politely said no thanks as I was already freezing and couldn't understand why I had to take off my jacket. It didn't make sense and we had never been asked that before. I explained that we only wanted one drink and that was it, but was told that we were not allowed to sit outside without dropping off our jackets. But if that's the rule then it should be clearly stated outside before you sit down and before you order drinks. Our drinks had already been ordered and paid for and we couldn't cancel them. The doorman wouldn't make an exception and poured our drinks into to-go cups and asked us to leave. A very unnecessary and unpleasant experience. The doorman's stubborn and dismissive behavior was far from acceptable customer service in my opinion. Even though we usually come to London Bar, I will not set foot there again out of principle.

12/08/2026: I really loved the Elderflower-blossom and the green apple ice. The cones were nice and crispy. Friendly owner.

11/08/2026: Small balls of ice cream. The quality of the ice cream was poor. Ordered an organic elderflower, which turned out to be concentrate with tap water and so thin that it didn't taste of anything. No ice cubes or topped with any decorations. No way worth 65,- kr. Returned the organic elderflower and wanted a refund. The clerk couldn't figure it out. Can't recommend this place in any way.

08/03/2026: We were four people - and had been looking forward to a good experience! It wasn't. There is no reasonable relationship between price and quality - not to mention quantity. ONLY visit Dauphine if you are NOT hungry. In particular, the main course was smaller than expected or a child's portion. with COLD small pieces of Jerusalem artichokes. The squash course tasted bad - to my taste. The dessert tasted good - but the lentil base was poor and probably bought in a supermarket. Dear Dauphine: I don't think you can be familiar with it. Not at all harmony between price, quantity and quality. Regretted we had driven almost 200 km - to visit you regards. peder kirkeby

21/02/2026: Had read the good reviews and chose Dauphine for our trip out to the Aarhus food scene in connection with Dining Week. Unfortunately, the evening was characterized by the need to rush through, and that the chosen menu should be easy to reheat and serve. The starter was not balanced - large temperature differences between the cold and the hot on the plate, the main ingredient, a "salmon terrine" of some kind, had not been out of the fridge long enough. The main course was unacceptably small, but otherwise tasty. The dessert was quite ok. But again, the feeling that it was just a matter of serving pre-cooked food prepared for the hordes permeated the experience. Unfortunately, the service was not good either. We were received by a man who was clearly not used to being in the restaurant (kitchen?), he barely said hello, did not point out a wardrobe in the somewhat narrow space, was not present and was in a hurry to move on, could not advise on a simple level regarding the choice of wine, "it was a white wine", no one ever asked if it tasted good or if it was satisfactory, no one came and asked if the drinks needed to be refilled, a woman suddenly came and cleared the table and reached over us without a single expression, no words, no one said what was going to happen next (pre-ordered 3-course menu). We approached the serious draft from the window facing the street, where we were sitting right up and down. The winter weather was really taking hold, but we asked nicely if it was possible to get another table, because it was raw cold for the legs to sit up against a leaky window at full height. It was swept away pretty quickly without making an impression. I don't usually write reviews, and am usually pretty generous as long as people make an effort and/or are nice and friendly, and the food is reasonable, but the whole experience just wasn't good and we couldn't finish fast enough. We won't be coming here again, although a regular a la carte evening is probably a different experience.
