22/09/2025: Very fresh and delicious food; the salmon burger is especially recommended. It's excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and speak German; if something runs out, they'll make something fresh immediately upon request. The takeaway option is highly recommended, allowing you to enjoy it right by the harbor.

17/09/2025: We were in Lemvig today on our fourth holiday in Denmark. We quickly searched Google Maps for a good fish restaurant. The food was excellent. The fish was super tasty and fresh. Highly recommended.

11/09/2025: All in all, we were extremely satisfied. We ate there twice and, of course, had made reservations in advance, as recommended. They even recognized us the second time. Perfect ambiance, excellent service, and the food was delicious. Tusind tak for den laekre mad

02/10/2025: The food was a huge portion and tasted really good. You can look out over the harbor while eating (if you get a seat). The opening hours are a bit of a bummer, as they're only open until the afternoon. You order downstairs, and it's a bit of a self-service affair.

09/09/2025: We've eaten here several times and have always been very satisfied, but today the chef seemed to be in the mood. The fries were soggy and the fish tasted bland.

16/08/2025: A super cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere and fantastic food, especially the fish dishes! We had the evening buffet and it was delicious. If you like fish, this is the place to be.

23/08/2025: The best place in town for lunch Great lunch based on local organic products. We love going for lunch. It is small, does not fit many people and the staff is really nice. You might find it a little pricy – but we find it every penny worth.

23/08/2025: Read this to understand the 5 star rating The 5 star rating is based on the place being like going 40 – 50 years back in time. Not the design and layout of the place. But in the choice of food. If you want to try what traditional Danish food was like – this is the place to go. You might want to go with the menu of the day. It is like my grandmother made food. So – is it nice or more out of curiosity? The latter – but any one visiting Denmark should try it. Thus the 5 star rating.

13/08/2025: Do you really want to serve 2 craftsmen like buns with butter, for cocoa at 4 pm yesterday afternoon? Why don't you say, "unfortunately we don't have that", then we would have bought a piece of cake instead. Thanks for the service with the taxi.

09/09/2025: Large and nice restaurant down by the harbor, we ordered veal steak 🥩 with red wine sauce potatoes and salad which was fried and prepared as it should be. Fish and chips were homemade with fresh cod but a little too greasy in the fryer for me and the fries were large and fried too little for my taste. Service and management were absolutely faultless, all in all a reasonable visit worth.

09/09/2025: Great location, very friendly service, but unfortunately the food was a rip-off. The fish and chips were a kid's portion and priced at a premium. A real shame.

13/08/2025: Have been there twice the food was really good the first time we sat inside the second time outside then there was smoking at a couple of tables next to us while we sat and ate. They could make a smoking area so non-smokers could sit and eat without smoke. But would love to come again but then we will sit inside.

27/08/2025: Just drove home from the hotel and am very disappointed. Had booked a weekend stay with breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant the menu was according to the chef's choice Friday I cleared with the chef that the stay included both parts both days. First we experience a very inexperienced waiter who did not know which stay we were at. The two we spoke to kept mentioning something about Risskov and there was no table reserved and the food was not included in our stay either? We tried to tell them that we had coordinated Friday with the chef and they kept whining about Risskov doing such and such. We end up finding another place to eat and since the breakfast was not what you think it was something special. We agreed to drive home early. The apartment was ok. But worn out and several sockets did not work. We will not be back. Feel a bit like we were taken by the nose. Update! Have received a response from the hotel on trust pilot. We did NOT get free drinks either day. We declined the drinks we ordered because we wanted to find somewhere else to eat before we went home. However, they should probably rephrase their confirmation so that misunderstandings can be avoided. Several people have seen ours and agreed with us that it looks complicated.

22/08/2025: Thank you for the wonderful night! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. We'd love to come back.
