22/09/2025: Very fresh and delicious food; the salmon burger is especially recommended. It's excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and speak German; if something runs out, they'll make something fresh immediately upon request. The takeaway option is highly recommended, allowing you to enjoy it right by the harbor.
17/09/2025: We were in Lemvig today on our fourth holiday in Denmark.
We quickly searched Google Maps for a good fish restaurant.
The food was excellent. The fish was super tasty and fresh.
Highly recommended.

15/09/2025: Spontaneous lunch, it was very tasty, we will come back when we have the chance :)
11/09/2025: All in all, we were extremely satisfied. We ate there twice and, of course, had made reservations in advance, as recommended. They even recognized us the second time. Perfect ambiance, excellent service, and the food was delicious.

02/10/2025: The food was a huge portion and tasted really good. You can look out over the harbor while eating (if you get a seat). The opening hours are a bit of a bummer, as they're only open until the afternoon.
You order downstairs, and it's a bit of a self-service affair.
09/09/2025: We've eaten here several times and have always been very satisfied, but today the chef seemed to be in the mood. The fries were soggy and the fish tasted bland.

We had the evening buffet and it was delicious. If you like fish, this is the place to be.

Great lunch based on local organic products.
We love going for lunch. It is small, does not fit many people and the staff is really nice.
You might find it a little pricy – but we find it every penny worth.

28/09/2025: Great food, cozy atmosphere and nice staff. The music was a bit loud, but when we asked if they would turn it down a bit, they said "of course" and the music was immediately turned down. We will definitely be back!

06/10/2025: Mig og min veninde spiste der til noget koncert hvor der var god musik på havnen. Vi ville gerne have en bord uden for og have nogle tæpper men der var åbenbart ikke flere selvom kun nogle få sad med tæpper. Så ventede vi efter i over en time på den meget kedelig burger vi fik. Nu er jeg ikke fan er MC D men jeg synes faktisk deres burger har mere smag og pommefritterne var kolde og sten hårde og uden salt. For denne lille ret og en kande dele vand måtte vi slippe over 200 kr. I løbet af den tid vi sad der kom der ikke en eneste tjener og spurgte om bi manglede noget. Hov glemte næste at sige at vi fik en lille forret om man vil i forklædning som et enkelt stykke brød med smør til hver. Næste gang vi var afsted spiste vi på café Larsen istedet og vi var begge enige om at det var meget bedre til en meget billigere pris.
30/09/2025: The shooting star was really just bread with 2 deep fried fish fillets, 5 shrimps, and a small spoonful of boiled fish. Not worth the price.
However, the place has an amazing atmosphere and view

09/09/2025: The lunch was great and the service excellent!
13/08/2025: Have been there twice the food was really good the first time we sat inside the second time outside then there was smoking at a couple of tables next to us while we sat and ate.
They could make a smoking area so non-smokers could sit and eat without smoke.
But would love to come again but then we will sit inside.

25/08/2025: I ate here on Friday, August 22nd with my daughter and mother, and it was one of my best inn experiences to date. The starter, a shrimp cocktail on a bed of mixed mesclun salad with large hand-peeled shrimp and a delicious dressing, was both beautifully presented and tasty. The main course, Wienerschnitzel with fries and bearnaise sauce, came in an impressively large portion and tasted fantastic and the sauce was homemade by the innkeeper herself, which made all the difference! My mother enjoyed the fish of the day, and my daughter her fish fillet, we all left the table full and very satisfied. Friendly staff, beautiful presentation and a rare good balance between price, quality and portions. I will definitely come back next time to try the Thai dishes!

28/09/2025: Yesterday, 27.9.25, I celebrated my 70th birthday here.
We were about 40 of all ages.
We had the most delicious 3-course menu, followed by coffee, cookies, etc.
The “scrub of the food” was buns, cold cuts and cheese.
Everything tasted good and was beautifully presented.
The service was top notch, the three young people who served us did a great job, the food and wine were on the table on time.
The atmosphere was top notch. There was room for us outside the party room too, the children could run around outside as well as inside, you didn't notice it was also the golfers' clubhouse.
We give our warmest recommendations to Thomas and his team.

29/09/2025: Was here with my colleagues and had a lovely dinner, the service was fresh and good, the place is nicely and cozy decorated and everyone is both welcoming and smiling, would love to come again
27/08/2025: Just drove home from the hotel and am very disappointed. Had booked a weekend stay with breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant the menu was according to the chef's choice
Friday I cleared with the chef that the stay included both parts both days.
First we experience a very inexperienced waiter who did not know which stay we were at. The two we spoke to kept mentioning something about Risskov and there was no table reserved and the food was not included in our stay either?
We tried to tell them that we had coordinated Friday with the chef and they kept whining about Risskov doing such and such.
We end up finding another place to eat and since the breakfast was not what you think it was something special. We agreed to drive home early.
The apartment was ok. But worn out and several sockets did not work.
We will not be back. Feel a bit like we were taken by the nose.
Update!
Have received a response from the hotel on trust pilot. We did NOT get free drinks either day. We declined the drinks we ordered because we wanted to find somewhere else to eat before we went home.
However, they should probably rephrase their confirmation so that misunderstandings can be avoided. Several people have seen ours and agreed with us that it looks complicated.
