De bedste restauranter i Randers

26/02/2026: Feels like a fever dream. We arrive and order tapas, they bring four plates, mine has dried food residue on it. I point this out and it is ignored. Our Tapas arrives but there is barely room for it and our bread cannot be on the table so the waiter puts it on the table next to it. The waiter can remember 2/3 of the cheeses and mumbles his way through the sausages, she leaves and we wait for her to come back with a clear message about what is in it, we don't get that. I go out and look for the wait staff as I have a food allergy and it is important for me to clarify what is in the cheeses and sausages, finally it dawns on me that the other occupied table up back is not guests but the entire staff. I politely ask for clarification and get it and think great, have a nice lunch :) a little later we need drinks for the table (we are the only table) so I try to smile and make eye contact with their "cozy table" but after 30 minutes I have to just go up to them and ask for drinks, we had to do this every time we ordered - there was no one to supervise our table. I have worked in the industry myself as a cook and waiter in charge and this feels completely absurd. Finally I would like to mention the piles of plates you have on the floor right outside the toilet, it is an unpleasant sight to sit with while eating... These things were not the only thing that was wrong with regard to food serving, safety etc. but on this point I could almost write a novel.

18/12/2025: Unfortunately the tables were not wiped down and there was food on the chairs.

12/03/2026: Friendly and good service. The food tasted great. Wasn't quite what I expected from a brunch, but certainly not bad.

14/02/2026: The worst experience we have had in a long time. There was no refilling, half and completely empty dishes. There was no service, we had to reuse our forks, and the tables were not cleared. We didn't get any dessert either, because the ice cream tubs were almost empty, and what was left was mixed together and didn't look very delicious 😒

21/12/2025: Very mediocre. We had a buffet where some of the food was not very hot. Rice, spaghetti and several of the different types of meat were only lukewarm. Some of the food tasted boring. The onion rings were tough and not fried enough at all. The fish tasted strange and some little things like that. Won't be back.

01/09/2025: It is always a pleasure to come to Mathiesen! The atmosphere is good and relaxed, where you feel comfortable and know that you will be taken care of in the best way. The service is really good and the waiters are alert and ready to quickly jump in if there is something or if you are missing something. There is a good dialogue and an honest story about the food and what to pay attention to. There is no overselling and you can feel that they want a good experience for their guests, rather than pressuring people into something. They have a distinguished selection of drinks and their food is extremely satisfying. It is especially wonderful to see that fresh hand-peeled shrimp are served, which shows that quality is prioritized, which is also reflected in their food. Their sandwiches with cheese are really good and the size is not to be complained about at all. Their evening menu is also really good and the composition is well considered. See you again soon. 😊

17/08/2025: Had ordered 4 pizzas for pickup at 6:20 PM - I came a little early as I had a correction to our order and it was impossible to get through on the phone.. I am informed of the change to my order and it was no problem. I sit down and wait for them to be ready. At no point is my name mentioned, despite claims to the contrary from the woman who was at work, I accidentally discover my order standing on the counter where it had been for 10 minutes. I pay and drive home with my order. It was 6:40 PM when I drove from there Find out that the pizza that had been changed in my order had not been changed, so I call and the owner apologizes and says that if I can pick it up right away he will make it. I drive over and a few minutes later I get it delivered. My pizza was half cold, bland and tasteless and had too much (the potatoes were really dry) (Patata) - the other 3 were ok, but not more than that

08/10/2025: We have had pita bread from pita moon many times, and it has always been really good! But I must honestly say that the quality has unfortunately dropped a lot. It is not very good kebab that is used anymore, and it generally felt like it is not cared for anymore. Super shame, when it has been so good. I probably won't be back anytime soon.

02/09/2025: We ordered thick fries, which arrived as normal thin fries with far too much spice / salt. We also ordered two kebab mixes, one of which was only supposed to have iceberg and corn. Unfortunately, it arrived with onion, tomato and peas. We also ordered a nuggets box, where all but one nugget were burnt and hard. Definitely the last time we order from Pita Moon.

25/01/2026: Was there with friends and it was amazing, all sorts of fun food combinations :)

10/01/2026: great selection of good in the buffet and nice staff + atmosphere ☺️

23/11/2025: The food was not as expected, we got a sushi Roll and 2 Bowl's and a sandwich only 1 was satisfied with their Bowl which consisted of salmon. There was not really any chicken in the different dishes. We waited about 30 minutes for the food.

15/08/2025: Kira is the best employee you could ask for. Very service minded. I asked for a salmon bowl and it was even better than I expected. Will definitely be back.

10/09/2025: There were two of us there for dinner, the only ones, so the rest of the restaurant was empty. We got our food at 5:00 PM sharp. There was no one else in the restaurant when we left at 5:50 PM.

09/09/2025: Great food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere in boring Randers

03/01/2026: Went in and ordered a club sandwich and a Caesar salad. The latter was 100% not the right dressing. When I went up to make the staff aware of this I was quickly turned away on the grounds that the café KU has some kind of dressing. She didn't want to taste the salad either. 405 kroner in total for a bad experience. Have been coming there for many years and have never experienced such a low level of service before. .

13/12/2025: A cafe for adults. A whole new experience. Fantastic atmosphere.

10/10/2025: Decides to go here, finds and pays for parking, goes here during opening hours. It says open. Comes to a closed door. Unprofessional to stay closed without having social media for signage
