07/08/2026: A nicely situated restaurant serving simple dishes like fries, burgers, hot dogs, and trimmed fish or ice cream. Beautiful view of the fjord and prices are reasonable, especially by Danish standards.

06/08/2026: The hot dog was excellent. We also got a portion of fries. They were nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside – just how we think they should be. We had beautiful weather and were able to enjoy the terrace with its view of the fjord.

21/08/2026: A nice little museum village with Viking-era replicas, easily manageable even for younger children. However, anyone expecting a proper museum with an exhibition of original Viking-era artifacts will be disappointed. For children, there are activities (for an extra charge) such as baking flatbread, archery, and crafting leather bracelets and pouches. To get a glimpse of Viking-era dwellings, stables, a blacksmith's shop, a mill, a church, and boats, I definitely found it worth a visit.

18/10/2025: After another beautiful day in the Danish sun, we decided to visit the small town of Ringkøbing and enjoy a five-course meal at the "Nordic" restaurant. The "Nordic" is centrally located on the market square, features stylish, minimalist decor (brick walls, lots of gray, black, and white), and bills itself as a fine-dining restaurant without a star, but with a Michelin mention. The service: exclusively tall, blonde Danish women – charming, friendly, but a bit "shirtsleeves" in the details – the table wasn't wiped despite spills, new cutlery sets were unclear, and drinks were rarely requested. Not a big deal – but worth mentioning in a fine-dining context. The cuisine follows three mottos: seasonal ingredients, hospitality, and matching drinks. The latter was interpreted rather loosely ("Fanta also somehow goes well with the food"), but nonetheless: the house-brewed beer was a hit – fresh, well-rounded, and very drinkable. We skipped the wine menu (price issue), but both opted for the five-course menu for €80, which is a real bargain for Denmark. And the food? Simply put: surprisingly delicious, honest, well-thought-out, no gimmicks, just perfectly cooked dishes with bold flavors. Course 1: A soup of "Ingrid's peas" with mussels, chives, and a piece of haddock cooked in lardo – wonderfully aromatic, well-rounded, and a great start. The whole thing was topped off with incredibly delicious, freshly baked bread with salted butter – I could have eaten nothing but that all evening. Course 2: Mackerel in a buttermilk sauce with parsley oil and roasted hazelnuts – meaty, slightly tart, with a lovely texture. The advertised horseradish, however, was nowhere to be found. Course 3: A magnificent scallop with smoked butter sauce, sweet and sour pickled pumpkin, and deep-fried kale – bold flavors, skillfully combined. Main Course (Variation 1): Beef tenderloin, cooked perfectly medium, with a crispy croquette, parsley puree, trumpet mushrooms, and Madeira sauce – classic, good, perhaps a little more bite in the croquette would have been desirable. Main Course (Variation 2): Pan-fried fish with squid and a white sauce – also excellent, especially the squid: crispy on the outside, tender and salty on the inside. Dessert: Quince, apple, ginger, and "Ivory" – a fine white chocolate in the shape of a sorbet-like ball, accompanied by another ball of quince, all in a sweet and sour apple cider sauce. Sounds good, and was delicious, but I felt it was missing something: perhaps more depth of chocolate, a bit of crunch, a fresh lemon note, or just a touch of cream. We concluded the evening with a good cappuccino in a beautiful cup and the realization: This meal was harmonious all around, flavorful, and delightfully filling – something you don't always experience in fine dining. The cuisine could be bolder in some places, dare to use a bit more contrast, add a spiciness or playfulness – but honestly: I already love this place. A must-visit on any trip to Denmark.

19/08/2026: This fishmonger with a snack bar was the perfect finishing touch to my Danish holiday. I wanted authentic, local fish, and that's exactly what I got! The staff were incredibly efficient, and there was absolutely no wait. Everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. We enjoyed a beer from the brewery next door, sitting comfortably on the wooden benches and savoring our tasty meal. We'll definitely be back, because there's so much more to try! 😊

17/08/2026: Very tasty and well-prepared fish and delicious remoulade. The fries were okay, I would have preferred them salted, but that varies from country to country. Unfortunately, you can only eat outside, where the seagulls lurk. But that's always the case at beachside snack bars 😊

29/07/2026: A lovely, very popular restaurant right on the harbor. The fish dishes (we had the mussels as a starter and the fish and chips) are delicious and highly recommended. The service is pleasant and friendly, and the wait times are reasonable. We would gladly return.

If you have the best food menu and good food, your absolute favorite is **All You Can Eat**. Vie elsker sushi, and især sushi herfra! 🍣 There is also a great price for the good and personal service. You can get her bath together and together with all the fire børn, and the old one will be in good hands with God. We've actually become **regulars** because we simply love the restaurant and the whole concept so much. ❤️ The food is really delicious, the quality is excellent, and the menu offers a wide selection, so there's something for everyone. We first discovered the lunch menu and the great specials. Our absolute favorite, though, is the **All You Can Eat**. We love sushi, and especially the sushi here! 🍣 What we also really appreciate is the friendly and personal atmosphere. They always cater to requests, and the owner almost always takes a moment for a nice chat. You feel warmly welcomed every time. The restaurant is also really great for families with children. We've been there as a couple, and also with our four children, and we've always felt very comfortable. It's truly family-friendly. Another great option is to order food online for convenient takeaway and pick it up yourself. Ordering is simple, straightforward, and works perfectly every time – ideal for those days when you'd rather enjoy delicious sushi in the comfort of your own home. 🥢🍣 We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! ❤️ And we'll definitely be back again and again.

07/08/2026: Not the most beautiful shop in the world, but the baked goods are still fresh and plentiful even before closing time, and the staff is always very friendly. They speak either perfect German or English, so everyone can get what they need. The selection of cakes and breads changes regularly. There's ample parking, and card payments (as is typical in Denmark) are no problem. Outside, there's a small cabinet with homemade items that can even be paid for via PayPal.

19/09/2025: We're from Germany and spent a week in Denmark. We visited the cable car park three times. The ride is very nice and the staff are incredibly friendly. Valdemar, in particular, was very friendly and personable. I recommend the ride to everyone, whether beginner or pro.

28/08/2025: Cool cable park. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I'm a fairly experienced wakeboarder and wasn't completely satisfied with the rental boards, which had overly soft open-toe bindings, the board selection itself, the depth of the setup, etc. But all in all, it's definitely a really cool place, and the reasons for my star deduction are probably less relevant to most visitors. Overall, definitely recommended. Friendly, helpful staff, and I had a great session there. I would go there again—but better with my own wakeboard. Parking right in front is great, and the EV charging station is also convenient. Thanks for the afternoon with you.
