18/10/2023: Great facility, water skiing for the first time and the staff was very helpful and could give you lots of tips and explain it well, so it worked out quite quickly. So also ideal for beginners!

A visit to the lighthouse is recommended, it is possible to go up to the lighthouse for a fee Cities nearby Hvide Sande, Søndervig and Ringkøbing a beautiful area can recommend a visit, Ringkøbing is a beautiful city with small cozy streets and a small harbor by the fjord Søndervig is a seasonal summer town with small cozy eateries and shops that many Germans come to during the summer period

28/03/2024: The view from the lighthouse is fantastic. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to see very far. In our opinion it's overpriced at €10 per adult, it's just touristy.

01/04/2024: Cafe Marina: A Maritime Tragedy in Five Acts Act I: The Joy of Anticipation Lured by the sea air and the smell of fried plaice, we headed towards Cafe Marina, our hearts filled with anticipation. Best location in Hvidesande, the seagulls squawked, and everything looked promising. Act II: The Long Wait Like Odysseus on his perilous journey, we waited patiently for our food. The waiter, a young woman with a look more directed at TikTok than plates, forgot about us or what happened for 35min, people sat impatiently waiting. The girls, their expression and attitude were devoid of any kind of service mindedness. Act III: The Culinary Disaster Finally the food arrived, a sad sight that made even the hungriest stomach growl in protest. The tiger prawns, drowned in a sweet and sour tsunami, and would get a shock if it ever saw a truffle sauce. It was a disaster, as the waiter was told - with a "it wasn't good". The fish plate looked more like a forgotten shrimp cocktail from the 80s than a gourmet dish. Fiskeplatten, a piece of fish that the waiter didn't know what it was. It was a smoky mystery that could have put Sherlock Holmes to work. It was inedible. The lobster on the plate was gray and musty, looked like a sad ghost from the depths of the sea and consisted of more garlic than lobster. The cold fish fillet and Netto's anonymous remoulade were a sad farewell to the temptations of the sea. The veggie burger, a shameful collection of forgotten ingredients, served in a bowl as a sad afterthought by the waiters, knowing that the burgers are missing ingredients. Act IV: The Expensive Bill To complete the tragedy, a bill landed on the table that would make even the most seasoned pirate blush with anger. DKK 660 for two glasses of white wine and a gastronomic disaster was an insult to both wallet and taste buds. Act V: The Bitter Aftertaste Left on Cafe Marina's dock, we chewed on our disappointment and vowed revenge on the mediocre food and lousy service. Never have we felt so thoroughly cheated and betrayed by a restaurant. Cafe Marina, you have set a new standard for gastronomic disappointment. May your truffle oil turn into sweet and sour gravy and your spiny lobsters remain gray and sad forever! Epilogue: A Warning to Sailors Stay away from Cafe Marina, sailors! There are better harbors to drop anchor in. Eat your fill of oatmeal and biscuits before you embark on this culinary journey of misfortune. Cafe Marina, you deserve to sail off into the sunset with an empty fridge and a disgraced captain!

30/12/2023: We were there with the family. The ambience was very tasteful. The menu selection was limited but very promising. Orders had to be made in English at the counter and payment had to be made immediately. It's all half bad that the food is very good. Everything was very nicely prepared and the taste was also very interesting. The price is a bit high, but you don't go on vacation to save money. We will come back.

25/03/2024: As with every holiday in Denmark, a visit to the Lygten restaurant was a must this year. Everything is just right here. Nice staff, great chef and delicious food. A visit to the restaurant is also planned for the next stay in DK. Can only be recommended!

01/04/2024: Were there in the Viking harbor on March 28, 2024, the day the Vikings moved back into their village. Even despite the heavy rain that day, the actors kept everyone in a good mood and explained the way of life of the Vikings back then for those interested in history. The scavenger hunt was also a fun activity for the children.
