24/01/2025: Had the Steak sandwich (BØFSANDWICH) and I can honestly say that the bursts of flavours I experienced was phenomenal. The combination of food, service, friendly staff and the atmosphere in the restaurant makes it an easy call to come back for more

20/12/2024: I love pear pie, so of course I had to have warm pear pie on a cold winter's day. One pc. pie costs DKK 79. so of course I expected a large piece for that price and that it tasted really good. Great was the disappointment when a huge piece of pie arrived on the table. The fact that it also tasted like nothing only made the disappointment even greater. Service was fine, if the place is cosy, well, it's not a place I'll be coming back to.

21/11/2024: Fantastisk aften !!! Vi fik Oplevelsesmenu med tilhørende vinmenu. Simpelthen så lækkert mad, flot anrettet, vine der passede perfekt . Alt går i en højere enhed , på dette dejlige sted : stille fransk musik i baggrunden , ja selv udsmykningen på væggene, får en til at føle at man befinder sig på en lille fransk bistro.

20/10/2024: Very disappointing experience... The food in no way lived up to the price of 1200 for the signature menu. Several of the dishes had major shortcomings or were downright tasteless. We were also served tail pieces from zander. The turbot was very overcooked, dry and rubbery. The pork jowls were completely tasteless, as if they had just been boiled in hot water. And the guinea fowl was also completely fried, a very dry experience and we had to leave the guinea fowl on the plate as it was almost inedible! In addition, the waiter also forgot to serve the wine with one of the dishes, and we were not asked if the food tasted good, although it was clear that a lot of our food went back to the kitchen. At DKK 2400 per man, it was a very disappointing and almost amateurish experience. Definitely not recommended and we won't be back!

19/01/2025: Lækker mad og god betjening. De kæmpede lidt med at servere noget ude mælk, men de rettede deres fejl øjeblikkelig og med et smil. De har et overskueligt menukort med kød og grøntsager samt en række pastaretter, som de så til gengæld laver ordentligt. Leder du efter pizza er du gået forkert. Et lidt kedelig sted for børn, så medbring underholdning hvis du har sådan nogle med. Alt i alt kommer vi gerne igen!

31/12/2024: Can only say it now a bit of a long experience.... we had booked a table and it took 45 minutes before we got a welcome drink when the waiting time went by to discover they had changed the menu we had ordered had changed... .that's one thing ... but the service was so poor that they just rush past and don't ask about the food or about the drink ... When you finally ask, it takes 30 minutes before you get your drinks .. then another 45 minutes of waiting time again ... Booked a table for 7.30pm and then got a 4-course menu.. Dessert at 10.20pm and not once have they asked about the food or if we should have something to drink .. 🫣 So if you don't care about poor service and a dry mouth .. then this is the place... It was not here that I will come again..

22/08/2024: Super sweet and efficient staff, delicious food and sweets in beautiful surroundings ☀️🌊🌳 Have enjoyed coming here for the last 12 years I have lived in Silkeborg. They also have ice cream with chicken for the dog so it won't be cheated when it's with 🐕🍦

10/12/2024: We were just staying in Silkeborg for a single night and chose this lovely hotel. In general, decoration, furnishing, location and service go into a higher unity. The staff are so 'on' and the breakfast is top notch with pretty much everything the heart could desire. Probably not the last time we come here. PS We came to see BSH play at home against GOG. BHS lost, sigh, but the hotel can't do anything about that after all ;-)

10/02/2025: Ordered via wolt, got a round of cold, dry and very boring food. The steaks are overcooked, the sauce is boring and tasteless. And the food was cold when it arrived. If I could give zero stars I would. Not worth a visit.

13/09/2024: Tried their takeaway. Boring food. Hangover noodles which were listed as "STRONG!" with 3 chillies, was not strong at all. Not a hint of chilli. Disappointing. Have eaten at the restaurant before, which was a positive experience. However, I will opt out of their takeaway in the future.

09/02/2025: I moved to Silkeborg in 2012 and became acquainted with the corner grill. Such a bull's spot. Always good service and the food is absolutely top notch, so definitely a place worth recommending to eat 😊
