16/09/2025: If you need a place to eat dinner, this is the place, delicious food and great prices. Would choose takeaway because the restaurant is very "rustic" to put it nicely. Huge recommendation from here

24/05/2025: Vi havde bestilt bord og modtaget bekræftelse. Da vi kom dagen efter var restauranten lukket. De er gået konkurs for mere end en uge siden men modtager altså stadig bestillinger!

28/09/2025: Didn't buy any food there... weren't greeted at all when we came in, waited and waited but nothing happened. I think they are mostly busy serving those who are going to play. We drove to Byens grillbar which had great service and delicious food.

01/09/2025: The ice cream doesn't live up to the hype at all - just average taste, but priced way too high. Honestly felt it was a waste of money and I won't be back. Definitely not recommended.
07/08/2025: I really don't understand the hype around Okkels in Silkeborg. I was looking forward to a good ice cream experience, but this was a real disappointment. The ice cream was anything but gelato – it lacked both the creamy consistency and the intense flavor you expect from real Italian ice cream. It felt more like cheap soft serve ice cream than something that should be called “gelato”.
If you really know gelato, you know that this is nowhere near it. It tasted artificial and watery. I would have rather gotten a package from the supermarket – that would have been better.
All in all, a really disappointing experience. I won't be back.

27/05/2025: Ordered a grilled chicken online, and it turned out there were no fries, despite the fact that it cost the same as a grilled chicken with fries elsewhere. It was a pretty boring meal :(
02/04/2025: We ordered dinner two hours before collection. Five minutes before the pickup time, the place canceled the order and we got a long nose and had to find dinner elsewhere. We went in there anyway to make sure the cancellation wasn't a mistake. Here we were not exactly greeted by service - and there were still three chickens in the oven - but obviously not for us!

24/05/2025: I was able to get in with my wheelchair. The food was excellent, service and friendliness were top notch..
This won't be the last time we eat from here when we are in the area.

Alanya Pizza

21/08/2025: Delivers pizza over 30min late and will not compensate or take responsibility. Have experienced several times that Alanya pizza is unpredictable regarding their delivery time. We have shopped here for the last time when regular customers are treated that way.
14/08/2025: We have ordered from Alanya pizza many times and been satisfied, but the experience tonight makes us NEVER order food from here again!
We order food on just eat at 19:50 approx.
It says we will deliver the food at 21:48 but on Alanya's opening hours they are supposed to close at 21:00.
Of course we are a little confused about the above mentioned delivery time, so I call the pizzeria.
The first 2 calls I make, they hang up, the 3rd time the call is answered.
I ask about the delivery time, to which they reply that there has been a special arrangement that makes them have extended their opening hours but that they have also extended the delivery time and that if we have the opportunity to pick up the food ourselves it can be ready immediately otherwise it will be delivered at 21:45 at the earliest. We say we are fine with the late delivery time and Alanya pizza says it is okay.
I called them at 8:45 PM.
At 8:51 PM I get a text message from just eat that Alanya has canceled my order.
I've tried contacting them many times after, some of the calls they hang up and some they don't answer the phone...
It's one thing to cancel an order 1 hour after it's been ordered, so it's so late that nothing else is open.
But lying to your customers like that is beyond rude and, excuse my language, lousy
I'm speechless.

Restaurant Pizzeria Roma

15/09/2025: Visited with extended family as part of our Morfar’s memorial weekend and it was a disaster from start to finish.
We arrived at 7.30pm on a Friday and only 3 other tables were occupied. We were greeted by a young waitress who took our drinks orders and we then had to wait 50 minutes to get them. They didn’t have any bottles of the house red OR house white (despite it being a very limited wine list of about 5 wines) and in the end we had to settle for alternative wine options/carafes.
Our food took about an hour to arrive and when it did our experiences were mixed: the pizzas were generally good but the pasta dishes less so. My cousin’s carbonara had just ONE piece of bacon in it and no pepper. When this was raised with the owner he stated that salt and pepper weren’t listed on the menu as ingredients included in the dish and so we shouldn’t have expected it. There was a lot of confusion when the food arrived as staff just shouted out the dish number from the menu (which we hadn’t been told to remember) and they couldn’t tell us what each dish was. We ended up asking for a menu so we could work out which dish belonged to who. One pizza was completely wrong and when the correct one came out, it had bacon on it which wasn’t in the listed ingredients! When the manager was asked why the wrong pizza had been delivered to the table he stated that he couldn’t read the handwriting of the waiting staff so he’d had to guess!
At the end of the night, we complained to the manager about our awful experience and he just made excuse after excuse refusing to apologise or accept any fault. At the end of the discussion he agreed to a 50% discount on the misdelivered pizza but stated that he ‘wasn’t making Italian food in Rome - he was making Italian food in Silkeborg’…… The restaurant is called Roma but it seems customers shouldn’t go expecting Italian cuisine of any note.
Stay away unless you want a confusing and chaotic evening out.
13/09/2025: Lovely, spacious Italian restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. Delicious pizzas so big you'll have to take some home.
