16/09/2025: If you need a place to eat dinner, this is the place, delicious food and great prices. Would choose takeaway because the restaurant is very "rustic" to put it nicely. Huge recommendation from here

24/05/2025: Vi havde bestilt bord og modtaget bekræftelse. Da vi kom dagen efter var restauranten lukket. De er gået konkurs for mere end en uge siden men modtager altså stadig bestillinger!

Hello Lagkagehuset Silkeborg
I am writing to draw attention to a recurring problem with your online orders, which I have gradually found very unsatisfactory.
When you order and pay for goods via your online system and receive a receipt stating that the order has been completed, you naturally assume that the goods are put aside and are ready for collection.
Unfortunately, I have repeatedly experienced that when I show up at the store to pick up completely ordinary goods such as rye bread and French bread, you have not put them aside.
This is not an isolated error — it has happened 5-6 times over the past year.
Each time I am told that I can choose other types of bread instead. But when you have ordered certain goods, it is precisely because those are the ones you want — not a random alternative.
As a customer, I experience this as:
• Lack of consistency between your online system and the store's practices
• Waste of my time
• And a very poor customer experience compared to a brand like Lagkagehuset
If your system is not robust enough to ensure that online orders are actually handled correctly in the store, then it should either be improved or not offered — because the way it works now, it only creates irritation and dissatisfied customers.
I hope you will take this seriously and ensure that online orders in the future also mean that the goods are actually ready for pickup.

They have immediately raised the prices considerably on rolls and pizzas, and we experience that there is also less filling on the pizzas. An otherwise legendary place in Silkeborg, which has now become mediocre.

This must be Silkeborg's best pizza, or at least lunch pizza. Good price and even better service you get at this humble eatery. Worth a visit 🤌🏻

29/10/2025: Came back after several years, and tasted exactly as I remember it, top class and good prices
02/08/2025: Very sad and shabby place, old frayed carpets throughout the restaurant, dark and very sparsely furnished. Worn out, and the smell of food hung heavy throughout the room.
We bought a Hawaiian pizza and a tray of fries. The pizza was downright awful, and even tasted strange. The fries were good.
But not a place I'll come back to again another time.

01/09/2025: The ice cream doesn't live up to the hype at all - just average taste, but priced way too high. Honestly felt it was a waste of money and I won't be back. Definitely not recommended.
07/08/2025: I really don't understand the hype around Okkels in Silkeborg. I was looking forward to a good ice cream experience, but this was a real disappointment. The ice cream was anything but gelato – it lacked both the creamy consistency and the intense flavor you expect from real Italian ice cream. It felt more like cheap soft serve ice cream than something that should be called “gelato”.
If you really know gelato, you know that this is nowhere near it. It tasted artificial and watery. I would have rather gotten a package from the supermarket – that would have been better.
All in all, a really disappointing experience. I won't be back.

21/08/2025: Delivers pizza over 30min late and will not compensate or take responsibility. Have experienced several times that Alanya pizza is unpredictable regarding their delivery time. We have shopped here for the last time when regular customers are treated that way.

13/04/2025: Member for about 40 years and was visiting today and wanted something to eat and ordered a club burger I have never had such a bad meal it was a small bun with a steak a slice of tomato and a little cucumber, a little salad for over a hundred kr simply robbery a burger is not usually a small bun but a meal and many times with fries BUT coming had never tried to make a burger which is usually a meal this has nothing to do with a BURGER

Restaurant Pizzeria Roma

15/09/2025: Visited with extended family as part of our Morfar’s memorial weekend and it was a disaster from start to finish.
We arrived at 7.30pm on a Friday and only 3 other tables were occupied. We were greeted by a young waitress who took our drinks orders and we then had to wait 50 minutes to get them. They didn’t have any bottles of the house red OR house white (despite it being a very limited wine list of about 5 wines) and in the end we had to settle for alternative wine options/carafes.
Our food took about an hour to arrive and when it did our experiences were mixed: the pizzas were generally good but the pasta dishes less so. My cousin’s carbonara had just ONE piece of bacon in it and no pepper. When this was raised with the owner he stated that salt and pepper weren’t listed on the menu as ingredients included in the dish and so we shouldn’t have expected it. There was a lot of confusion when the food arrived as staff just shouted out the dish number from the menu (which we hadn’t been told to remember) and they couldn’t tell us what each dish was. We ended up asking for a menu so we could work out which dish belonged to who. One pizza was completely wrong and when the correct one came out, it had bacon on it which wasn’t in the listed ingredients! When the manager was asked why the wrong pizza had been delivered to the table he stated that he couldn’t read the handwriting of the waiting staff so he’d had to guess!
At the end of the night, we complained to the manager about our awful experience and he just made excuse after excuse refusing to apologise or accept any fault. At the end of the discussion he agreed to a 50% discount on the misdelivered pizza but stated that he ‘wasn’t making Italian food in Rome - he was making Italian food in Silkeborg’…… The restaurant is called Roma but it seems customers shouldn’t go expecting Italian cuisine of any note.
Stay away unless you want a confusing and chaotic evening out.
13/09/2025: Lovely, spacious Italian restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. Delicious pizzas so big you'll have to take some home.
