01/07/2026: We enjoyed delicious food and drinks.

30/05/2026: Cute local place, good burger, spring rolls, and pear tart. Also have a kid friendly menu.

20/07/2026: We called yesterday and booked a table for 12 people because Moules-frites were on the menu. We arrive and 9 out of 12 want to order Moules-frites, but when the waiter comes, it is not possible to get it. Really disappointing and incredibly bad! We had been looking forward to it so much. We considered leaving the restaurant, but were quite hungry and had 3 minor children with us, so we decided to order anyway. It took almost 45 minutes before we got our food! The food was ok, EVERYONE ATE IT AND WAS HUNGRY AFTERWARDS INCLUDING the 3 children! The price does not reflect the portion, the menu does not reflect reality and probably on the expensive end. We therefore chose to have the “residual hunger” satisfied somewhere else. We will not come again and do not recommend this place

16/07/2026: Two of us arrived at 6pm to a completely empty restaurant. I had to go in and find a waiter to ask if they had a seat. No, everything was booked (it was completely empty) and there was no indication that guests were coming or that they were busy in any way. They weren't exactly kind enough to ask how many of us there were. The night before we ate somewhere else. They were full and busy there. They still had the kindness, service and energy to get around and immediately found a seat for us. They accepted walk-ins and also people who called, they were able to squeeze in the hour/an-and-a-half before there was a reservation. Kjøbstaden doesn't have this service and overview. But on the other hand, there was time for them to stand and stare inside. When we passed by again, 1 1/2 hours later, it was still not even half full and the waiters didn't look like they had much to do.

30/05/2026: Really nice little stop for a refreshing drink and a snack. Very friendly staff, who made us feel welcome and offered our dog a drink too. Great food that came quickly, lovely to sit outside too. Highly recommended!

19/05/2026: OK café on the main street in Rønde. We only had drinks, but they were quite ok. Rønde is a cozy medium-sized village, close to beautiful nature.

29/05/2026: Small cafe on the edge of the market square. We ordered a Danish sandwich, cake and coffee. Highly recommended.

29/05/2026: On May 9, 2026, we celebrated my son's confirmation at Café Benjamin and we have only words of praise for the food that the chef had put his energy into, the service that was calm and attentive, and the atmosphere that was top notch because Laura had provided such nice decorations and beautiful settings - thank you from the bottom of my heart for this memory :)

28/02/2026: Lovely afternoon down at Øer, where we had a good lunch in the form of an appetizing Stjerneskud. The service was great, and we felt really welcome. - Thank you for a good lunch and a nice afternoon at Café Benjamin.
