26/11/2025: Absolutely fantastic place. If you want to experience a restaurant with charm, the most wonderful service and delicious food, look no further. Cafe Ulla Terkelsen has it all and even more. The staff even had the energy to bring a bowl of water and a piece of chicken for our four-legged companion. We have NEVER experienced that before. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We have found our favorite place in Aalborg.

23/11/2025: One of the oldest, if not the oldes, bars in Aalborg. Very laid back atmosphere. Good selection in both beer and other drinks. You are allowed to smoke inside, which is very rare in Denmark. This can be either a plus or a minus, depending on your preferences.

18/06/2025: delicious steak and fish. long wait to order, but food was done quickly and it was super tasty. Slow clean up of tables, people left and nobody took dirty glasses for half hour. But it is worthy for that sublime steak

08/12/2025: ⭐ 1 star – Disappointing and unacceptable experience at Grillen Burgerbar, Aalborg City We visited Grillen Burgerbar in Aalborg City as a party of 5 for lunch. The first impression was actually nice, and the place seemed clean at first glance. There were hardly any other guests – only a few who left shortly after our arrival. We ordered 5 different Combo Lunch menus, as well as drinks: 1 Coke Zero and 4 Fanta. The drinks were served quickly, but to our surprise, only one of them was correct. The 4 Fanta were made as Carlsberg Sport, which in no way matches our order. We accepted the error, but of course we were surprised, since we were the only guests who had ordered food. When we took the cutlery from the table's ceramic container, we found 2 knives and 2 forks that absolutely should not have been on display. They were not only dirty, but had clear traces of mold and reddish food residue. We put the cutlery in front of the employee, who could see it for himself – and it was extremely unpleasant. When our 5 menus were served, the food looked nice at first glance, but the positives stopped there. Everything was cold. The bun did not smell of freshly baked or warm pastries, the meat and bacon were lukewarm, and the fries were also cold. One of the burgers was supposed to contain bearnaise sauce, but there was virtually no sauce between the bun and the meat. The temperature of the food was clearly below the permitted level, and this is unacceptable when handling food. We asked one of the young employees to check for herself – which she did – and she confirmed that the food was cold. She apologized, explaining at the same time that it was her first day. When I went up to the counter with 3 of the cold menus, I discovered something I never expected: One of the employees was standing and eating fries from one of the plates served. It was extremely borderline, especially since we had just arrived as new guests in an empty room. The other employee mentioned that they were not fully staffed. But since we were almost the only guests, lack of busyness could not explain the many errors. Due to the overall experience – wrong drinks, dirty cutlery, cold food, and an employee eating from customers' plates – we chose to leave the place calmly and nicely. The employee showed understanding for our disappointment. Conclusion: When serving food, there are very clear hygiene and temperature rules that must be followed. This visit did not live up to the level that a burger bar should have. Our entire party left with a very disappointing experience that should not go unwritten.

19/11/2025: Good food. I had side chicken and fries with cheese sauce and bacon, with a delicious strawberry milkshake. Incredibly good. My roommate had a burger, he was also satisfied. Recommended.

30/10/2025: A wonderful evening with lovely friends and good food and drinks!

23/10/2025: Company event.. The menu is determined in advance.. 😉 I think the presentation of the food is nice.. Tasted nice.. 😉 However, the decor style is very very dark for me..

31/12/2025: An "Irish pub" that doesn't have much in common with a real Irish pub. The server was bored and constantly looking at his phone. Unfortunately, the pub wasn't clean either; the restrooms, especially the women's, were still completely filthy and unusable – clearly not cleaned from the day before, which is very unpleasant! The prices are, of course, a bit higher than usual in Denmark. The Guinness was, as always, very tasty. The Irish coffee was okay and can be ordered in three strengths, but the paper straw disintegrated after just a few moments. Alternatives made of bamboo, metal, or reusable plastic should be used as soon as possible! Due to these issues, I'm unfortunately left with this rating. As a big fan of Irish pubs, I was shockingly disappointed across the board.

11/02/2026: Not quite Yoshi. The food didn't taste like much, but gets five stars because the kimchi was good and nothing else.

31/01/2026: Really good food and service, they bring the food shortly after you order.

08/07/2025: We had ordered beef steaks with side dishes. I'm sure it wasn't beef steak but a flat-cut veal schnitzel. The taste was okay and we were hungry so we ate it but when you pay for a steak, that's what you expect.

08/02/2025: Super service, nice reception and super atmosphere of the employees, felt really welcome

20/02/2026: Food, service and wine, simply fantastic but oh my, why with the trend of small social sharing dishes. I just want to choose my 3-4 or 5 course dish and have my own plate. Single only annoyance here and a shame it seems to spread around town amongst the restaurants.

09/11/2025: Sublime 😊 excellent service, food and not least wine. Like sitting in grandma's living room. Low key on a very high level. The waiters are always attentive, and the chef comes around the tables to ensure the quality and the guests' satisfaction....can and MUST be recommended ♥️
