01/12/2024: Had brunch from there and ate in the restaurant. Really delicious and good

14/11/2024: Vi bestilte stjerneskud, som vi levnede det meste af,. Fisk blød og smurt ind i fedt, slatne grønne asparges, færdig dressing og smagsløse rejer. Alt for høj pris ift kvalitet. Oven i købet mut og tvær ekspedient ved kassen og service som man selv henter var ikke rent.

06/12/2024: Incredibly not service friendly treatment of customers. Mediocre pizza. Strange that the Dankort terminal is very often broken 🙈 Does not accept Dankort debit. Does not accept coins 🤣 Fortunately, there are many good and service-friendly Pizza shops in the area.

01/03/2025: Have now eaten here a lot of times, and every time is an experience. Always really good food, incredibly good service, which is otherwise rare these days. And they go the extra mile to ensure you have a good dining experience

09/02/2025: 8/2-2025 We arrived 9 minutes early. And was asked in the rudest way to go outside the restaurant and wait, since they couldn't cover up otherwise? Thinnest explanation ever, and delivery of the message hopeless. We were forgotten after seating and waited 25min before we we drinks. They had forgotten that we had pre-ordered the full package (they also forgot the coffee and avec at the end) The food was super delicious, really good dishes, but the serving/service was far below what you could expect. The one chef who served (2 dishes for us) smelled so strongly of sweat (it simply must not happen (was so disgusting)) that I really lost my appetite. Unfortunately will not come again.

08/02/2025: We booked an early table at 17:30 to avoid getting home too late. Unfortunately, it was clear that we were overlooked for initially synchronizing servings with the tables around us (fair enough with about half an hour between us), but secondly with the late guests at the other end of the restaurant. This meant that we waited another 45 minutes. on our main course. We ended up spending 4.5 hours. The menu does not appear in some places and is only presented when serving. Basically, I have nothing against that, but it makes high demands on service in terms of allergens etc. When my girlfriend was pregnant, she had to refuse a dish of venison tartar during serving... A bit of a pity not to be made aware of this and the waiter's response to this ("well but welcome anyway") even more unfortunate. The subsequent main course also consisted of venison, which my boyfriend had to ask himself to ask for it to be cooked well. The food was generally very good, despite the fact that I had expected a slightly higher level. The game tartare seemed lacking in taste, especially the final dessert was, in my opinion, on the very bitter side and unbalanced. Generally speaking and unfortunately a slightly disappointing visit to a restaurant which clearly wants much more, but simply fails to live up to price and expectations.

07/03/2025: You come in and have to scan a qr, where you pay immediately. Where a fee is charged for service. I got 3 dishes for DKK 255. - My bao was the bun itself dry and hard. - The miso soup was far too salty - The first lobster bisque was cold. It took me a long time to get hold of a waiter to ask for a new lobster bisque that was hot. A waiter could just drop by to ask about how the food is. (It didn't seem like it was busy for the waiters)

09/03/2025: Had bought a deal, and reserved a table for 2. When we arrive there is not a free table, and we have to wait 30 minutes for a free table (the owner had definitely not reserved a table for us, so lucky for him that someone left the place). We tell him we have this deal on wine and tapas, and he will come down with the wine. We wait 10-15-20-30 minutes without anything happening. We go up to the bar, and he assures us that NOW he will come with the wine.. we wait again.. 10-15-20 minutes, nothing happens. We get the owner down to the table, and ask again for our wine. We wait again... 10-15-20 minutes. We actually decide to leave, because now we have been waiting for well over an hour for two glasses of wine!! That is unheard of! As we are about to leave, the table next to us contacts us. There is a former employee who has overheard us, and wants to get our wine. And no more than 10 seconds pass and we get our wine. This super sweet former employee starts serving everyone in the restaurant (since it is clear that many have been waiting as long as us for either wine or tapas). And after she stepped in, the bar flew out with wine and tapas. We also got our tapas fairly quickly, which actually tasted quite good. But we will definitely never come back, and cannot recommend it to others. Super bad experience, and it is a shame, because it otherwise seems to be a nice place.

21/03/2025: I like to visit the cafeteria on the 4th floor the staff is really nice and always friendly. Can be a bit pricy but the food is really good as well 6 star service from the friendly staff

11/03/2025: Delicious bread and cheese. Really a strange thing that you have to pay extra to get 2 pieces of cheese for your bun. Unthought-out and greasy service. The staff were friendly and are of course not responsible for the sad way you have chosen to save. Too bad that's what I remember about my visit, as the bread was actually quite good.

04/03/2025: Hadn't visited the place before, so checked the website first before the visit. Here is, among other things, a menu with prices etc. When we then visit Surdejsbageren, we see that the prices on the website do not match the prices in the store. Not that it is all important, but not so checked. There are a lot of signs and text in the store. But it lags in getting text to match reality. For example it says on the counter that Unika butter and cheese are used (if you think Unika means Arla Unika?), but it flowed with packaging from Castello sliced ​​cheese. Furthermore, there is another sign that says 'Dagens filter'. Normally (at least in other places) it would then be shown or communicated in some way what the Filter of the Day is. But there was neither a bag of coffee beans nor any hints as to what the Filter of the Day was. It's a bit stupid and strange that you can't follow your own signage. The counter where you get food and drinks was just a huge pile of used crockery. Not nice to be handed food/drinks on top of other people's leftovers. In general, an impression that the Sourdough Baker wants more than they really can in relation to concept. A messy experience. Personally, I also do not understand that you write that you use Unika (Arla Unika) products - which are good quality products - and use (or at least sell) Kornby Mølle flour, but then at the same time choose the obviously cheapest version of conventional milk from A/B Catering/Hørkram for the coffee. As I said, messy experience and it is not in control of communication or values. The coffee (which we didn't find out where it came from) was OK. Didn't buy any baked goods but it looked nice.

03/02/2025: Tuvimos la mejor pasta de raviolacci y pizza de la ciudad, disfrutamos de cada bocado... y no olvidarnos del tiramisú más delicioso que hemos probado... absolutamente me encantó su comida. Sigue así, ordenaré de nuevo

18/01/2025: Great food! We ordered pizza mostly, you can feel italian style. Today we ordered panini, veggie salat, and pasta carbonara. All was delicious especially the salat 😍

02/12/2024: Ordered 2 pcs. big shooting stars. They tasted fantastic with fresh produce, delicious homemade dressing and a suitable size. Absolutely best shooting star in 9400 and so at a very good price

13/02/2025: Pleasantly furnished and you can sit so it doesn't seem very full of customers. The fries were well prepared and crispy.

11/09/2024: Everything was very good. ☝️ Don't leave Aalborg without stopping by this restaurant. Here we have eaten the best salmon that I have ever tasted.
