30/10/2025: Quickly grab some fries and then off again

24/10/2025: What an experience! The kids were completely blown away – "These fries are to die for!" they exclaimed after the first bite. 🍟😍 And then came the educational part: We learned that the Danish hot dog has been a true classic for over 100 years! 🇩🇰🌭 Did you know that the famous red hot dog exists because people used to dye the slightly older sausages red to make them more recognizable? Today, of course, it's just a tradition – and it tastes simply heavenly! The service was so warm, you almost feel like you're part of the family. ❤️ The dishes arrived in a flash, everything was super fresh and prepared with lots of love. A culinary experience at its finest – or, as we would say: a true taste holiday in Denmark! The bottom line: Learning, laughing, feasting – you get it all in one here. We'll definitely be back (with empty stomachs and high expectations)! 😋🔥

23/10/2025: Located in the middle of Hjørring. Walking distance to restaurants, discos and attractions (museum and such). Nice staff! Breakfast was simple with bread, freshly baked rolls and cold cuts! Various drinks. Decent rooms with WiFi and TV. Decent bathroom. Quiet and peaceful place!

23/08/2025: I cannot recommend this place to anyone with my good will. The food was frozen food. You couldn't complain about the service. There was no one. We had to get our own menu card. The dessert never came. What a shame when it's such an old cozy inn.

18/08/2025: Tonight we went here for a second time without a reservation because we enjoyed it so much yesterday. The steak with delicious potatoes, burger, fish and chips, and especially the plaice were delicious! Simple food as it should be—superb! The staff is very friendly, and the terrace with a sea view is well-organized and cheerfully decorated. It's sunny, but it looks very cozy inside for colder days. Definitely recommended! If we weren't going home tomorrow, we would have come back a third time.

21/08/2025: So apparently “All You Can Eat” here means “All You Can Eat… of whatever they feel like giving you.” You don’t get to order, you just sit there and hope for the best. This little detail? NOWHERE on the website, the sign, or from the staff. We called them out because, honestly, that feels like a scam. Funny enough, they’ve since updated the website… guess they knew. Oh, and charging for leftover sushi when it’s the kitchen who decides which and how many? Be serious. Also, why does every sushi tastes and look like it got baptized in mayo/cream? This place is for people who like paying premium prices to play “What’s That Roll?” and lose every time.

22/06/2025: Best place in town Brutal rolls🤩 I paid too much and then I came down there and I don't want to say I talked nicely and it's my fault but anyway they handled it super professionally and finally got my money back Apologies to you who was standing there today at 2:10 pm or so😳

01/03/2025: Would give minus if possible!! Ordered 1 pizza + 1 round of nachos yesterday via Wolt - It was one of their own employees who delivered, which almost didn't care, didn't apologize in any way for the delay. The food was 30 minutes late, the pizza was almost cold and had several black "burn spots" The nachos had also been WAY too much Last time I order from there!!!!!!!

01/08/2025: Unfortunately we were very unlucky with our order, and based on our experience we can just recommend people to avoid ordering pizza here. We ordered 3 pizzas, one of them the pommes frites pizza. That one came without pommes frites, just meat. All three pizzas was burnt with very dark cheese on them, and they did not taste good. I never throw away food, but these pizzas was not edible and we had to throw them in the bin and order food from the hotel we were staying. A very expensive experience for us.

03/04/2025: Definitely not a pizza I would recommend. Tasted great just from the garlic.

06/09/2025: We were greeted by smiling and friendly staff, and the service was quick. Unfortunately the food was not very good, my husband got chicken salad, a very small portion, and there was more salad than chicken!!! My fish fillet was fried in rancid oil! So we were not as satisfied as the last time we were here.

30/08/2025: The atmosphere was nice and cosy until a pungent odour of drain suddenly hit us! We sat just opposite of the kitchen door and next to the toilets. It was awful but luckily we were done eating. The fish was too salty, unfortunately. Main meal very small with a little piece of cod and 3 tortellinis. Dessert was a chocolate mousse, quite nice but topped with a tasteless and chewy merengue. Unnecessary! More chocolate mousse and less trying to be chichi. Most surprising part of the dinner: the bill If you choose entry of the day, main of the day and dessert of the day you pay less then for the 3-course menu consisting of the exact same 3 dishes. The waitress argued that if’s the chef who sets the prices and this is how it’s done in Denmark. Well, so be it, but we won’t return in this case and felt a bit fooled. However, lovely Pinot Noir!

08/10/2025: the room smelled of dead animals. The positive thing was that there was hot water in the taps.

09/10/2025: A charming place in Hirtshals that really surprised me positively. Easy access and parking, beautiful location and a short walk to a fantastic beach. The apartment is elegantly and practically furnished, with spacious rooms and a large outdoor area with nature and activities. You can eat well and enjoy yourself on site. The host is incredibly nice and helpful in all situations. I will definitely be back!

31/07/2025: We stayed for two nights in mid July. Very hospitable and friendly owner, rooms were large and as advertised. The kitchen was well equipped, and the whole apartment was fresh and clean. We will for sure return!

18/12/2025: Sandwiches in their own innovative version but still faithful to the classic flavors. The restaurant delivers high-class cuisine served by staff who put service first. Always. Good locally produced beer (the brewery is behind a glass wall by the dining room). We'll be back!
