De bedste restauranter i Hjørring

18/07/2026: I have visited the place many times over the past 10 years, but now the quality is completely down. Their menu card shows a grill menu with everything grilled meat but that is in no way what you get.....(please see the attached pictures). I waited 25 minutes for a coke while the staff stood behind the bar and talked, the table was not serviced we had to clean up ourselves to be able to sit there. We complained about the above before anything happened....by the way, we could also hear other customers who were about to pay were also dissatisfied. All in all a very bad experience.....find somewhere else to eat....-10 stars

16/07/2026: The food was excellent. The service was not so good. You get 3 stars because the waiters were friendly and helpful. After we finished eating, we waited for a waiter to either offer dessert or a bill, but no one ever came to check on us or ask if everything was okay. We felt ignored. We had to go inside to the counter to ask for the bill. The atmosphere was okay. It would have been nice with a cozier atmosphere, candles, better chairs, a tablecloth on the table.. etc. There are not enough toilets at all for the number of people that there is room for in Søborg.

16/08/2026: Yoko Sushi at Sct. Olai Plads in Hjørring is an exciting sushi place that stands out from the more traditional restaurants – not least because of their serving robot. 🤖🍣 The robot is one of the first things you notice, and it gives the place a modern and slightly futuristic feel. It's a fun detail that makes the visit more interesting, and children in particular will probably find it quite entertaining to experience a robot in a restaurant. It's also a good example of how technology has gradually become part of the restaurant industry. Yoko Sushi offers sushi ad libitum, so you have the opportunity to try many different types of sushi instead of having to choose one specific menu. There is a large selection of different maki, nigiri and other varieties, so both those who prefer the classic pieces and those who want to try something different have good options. They also have lunch specials, which makes it interesting to visit the place earlier in the day. In addition, they have various larger menus and offers if you would rather order a certain amount of sushi or take the food home. The food is beautifully and colorfully presented, as sushi should be, and there are many different combinations with, among other things, salmon, tuna, shrimp, avocado, tempura and various toppings. This makes it easy to put together a meal with many different flavors. The location at Sct. Olai Plads is also really nice. There is a large parking area right next to the restaurant, so it is easy to get there by car. At the same time, the restaurant is close to the center of Hjørring. I especially think that the combination of sushi ad libitum, a large selection and the slightly unusual serving robot gives Yoko Sushi its own identity. Many sushi restaurants can look similar to each other, but the robot is one of those details that you remember afterwards. A cozy place to go with family or friends, where the experience itself becomes a little more than just eating sushi. If you love sushi and at the same time think that a little technology and robots make visiting a restaurant more fun, Yoko Sushi is definitely worth trying.

04/08/2026: Super cozy place and not too many people, so there was plenty of room to talk and eat in a cozy atmosphere. The food was super good, beautifully presented and came quickly. Everything was super nice, and it was a good price. We ate for lunch and couldn't eat anymore when it was dinner time.

23/10/2025: Located in the middle of Hjørring. Walking distance to restaurants, discos and attractions (museum and such). Nice staff! Breakfast was simple with bread, freshly baked rolls and cold cuts! Various drinks. Decent rooms with WiFi and TV. Decent bathroom. Quiet and peaceful place!

19/08/2026: The girl who greeted us also took our orders, prepared our pizzas, and served them at our table. She was excellent, fast, and very kind. The pizzas were truly excellent.

04/04/2026: Last time we buy from here #joke Please tell me which one of the pictures is a DeepPan pizza because I can't tell the difference but had to pay 20kr extra for it. Maybe it's a mistake, no because it's stuffed in a DeepPan box. And 20kr to get salad on a pizza, 🤣 But extra meat costs 15 🤣

06/07/2026: Opening time is not accurate, on the door it’s open from 08:00-01 Monday and we were waiting outside until 0840 and they did not open the door until 08:40 and just drove other places. Waited outside for 40 mints . 06/07/2026 .

I order Kentucky Chicken as take away 360 g 141kr yeah okay food is better for free but then you pack like that once… I mince words….. 2 dry chickens from some assorted supermarket and overturned salad and soft fries that I hadn’t had enough of and then served in a pizza tray for a UFO pizza I even checked your website first regarding the chicken and sure enough it says breaded chicken fillet…. Yes that’s good

26/07/2026: The food was nothing to shout hurray for. The same food drove by all the time, not much variety. We had to look for desserts for a long time. We approached the staff about it. They wanted to fix it. After 30 minutes still nothing and we decided to leave.

08/03/2026: I've been here several times before and the service and food were really good, but yesterday, my boyfriend and I walked out without eating anything. We arrived a bit early and were told we could have a table on the close side as soon as they cleared it. No problem. We were a bit early, so waiting was just fine. They never cleaned the table. Or any table. We and another couple were taken to the other side of the band. We passed several tables with mountains of dirty plates, including some guests still eating. We waited 20 minutes to be seated when they had available seats. When we were finally seated, we were behind a few family with kids, and those kids ran wild around the place, screaming and without shoes. The children had their hands in their mouths and noses, and were reaching into the conveyor, reaching over the belt to food on the other side that was on the way to us to get what they wanted. They were touching the belt and other food. I understand that it's not the restaurant who controls the children, but there needs to be rules to keep guests from contaminating food. Furthermore, there WAS no food. There were some warm "child friendly" things like nuggets and fries, and there were slices of cake, wasabi, and perhaps 2 plates of sushi on the entire belt. We waited at least 10 minutes afer waiting 20 minutes to be seated for the server to come and take our drink orders where I had seen enough to say we wouldn't be ordering and left. I informed them of the cleanliness of the situation. I get that the restaurant is family owned, but there also needs to be a distinction between home and business. The owners' own children were running around and throwing things, and when we left, they had taken a gas torch from the kitchen (we saw him go into the food prep area and take it) and was setting off fireworks right outside the door to the restaurant. They literally had to move aside so we could come out.

27/07/2026: We are not from the city, but see the place from the road. On a completely normal Thursday afternoon. Was lured by the Thai flag. Hold on, it was the best choice. It was some of the most authentic Thai food we have had outside of Thailand's borders (we have eaten in many places, in many different countries). Pad kra pao was sublime - however, the fried egg was missing 😬 Gaeng Keow Wan was so good and spicy. Thai food in the West can be a very sweet experience, but the chef made the dish less sweet upon request. Only ask for spicy if you can handle it! The food is really spicy! We will definitely come back when we are in those parts again 😀

06/09/2025: We were greeted by smiling and friendly staff, and the service was quick. Unfortunately the food was not very good, my husband got chicken salad, a very small portion, and there was more salad than chicken!!! My fish fillet was fried in rancid oil! So we were not as satisfied as the last time we were here.

30/08/2025: The atmosphere was nice and cosy until a pungent odour of drain suddenly hit us! We sat just opposite of the kitchen door and next to the toilets. It was awful but luckily we were done eating. The fish was too salty, unfortunately. Main meal very small with a little piece of cod and 3 tortellinis. Dessert was a chocolate mousse, quite nice but topped with a tasteless and chewy merengue. Unnecessary! More chocolate mousse and less trying to be chichi. Most surprising part of the dinner: the bill If you choose entry of the day, main of the day and dessert of the day you pay less then for the 3-course menu consisting of the exact same 3 dishes. The waitress argued that if’s the chef who sets the prices and this is how it’s done in Denmark. Well, so be it, but we won’t return in this case and felt a bit fooled. However, lovely Pinot Noir!

22/07/2026: Bought a burger and it tasted bad and was floury. The cheese was also weird, the fries were soaked in oil. I've had a bad stomach for 2 days now after this food... I don't like to leave bad feedback, but this food was unfortunately not good for either the body or the taste buds...
