20/04/2026: Chose shrimp cocktail. Very delicious and fresh shrimp in a beautiful color. Delicious freshly baked bread. Crispy crust and soft and flavorful inside.
Service was really sweet. Polite and a lot of corrections for me, but when locals came they got a welcome that was clear they were just as welcome as I felt.
Simple menu, but if this dish is indicative of the rest, it is a quite excellent selection.

14/07/2026: A cozy cafe that offers typical rye breads with toppings. We were most impressed by the potato waffle with salmon and remoulade, it tasted great. My children, who are very picky, also ate it. When we paid, we gave a tip to show that we were very satisfied with the food and service, the lady at the cash register was very surprised :). We would love to come back here again on vacation ♥️

07/09/2025: Picked up 2 cakes for a baby's christening yesterday, Saturday. A cake man with Alfred and Maren on it and a fruit cake filled with delicious berries. They were really good cakes. I've never had a cake man with such a good base. Pure pleasure for children and adults. The fruit cake itself is delicate and beautiful. Thank you for that.

08/07/2026: The hotel is housed in a monumental former warehouse that has now been completely renovated into a hotel with 18 rooms.
Arrival is a bit strange; you are given codes and links to an app to open the door, and in the two nights we were there, we didn't really speak to anyone except a good morning to the staff at breakfast. That makes it a bit impersonal. The breakfast is fine, though: good fresh rolls, very tasty juices, fried eggs—plenty of choice.
The room is a story in itself. A low entrance and not convenient if you are taller than 1.80 meters. The floor slopes slightly, there are small windows which makes ventilation more difficult, and the bathroom is covered with vinyl (understandable given a wooden subfloor). Still, it does have charm; it was very clean, and we slept well. Nykøbing is a friendly little town and a good base for exploring the island of Mors.

18/07/2026: The dirtiest McDonald's we've ever been to. We simply walked out because it was so dirty. All ice cream and shakes were sold out. And slow service despite it being 2 coffees, a donut and a muffin...
