The bread (French hotdog) was a bit dry after being toasted and crumbled a bit. Service is top notch and very friendly.

31/12/2025: Delicious products on all shelves and Lars is both good and sweet to help - whether it's just a coffee to-go, the beer assortment for the home that needs to be filled or a wine for Christmas Eve - it's spot on.
In addition, Haandpluk can also handle a bite to eat to satisfy your hunger.
13/10/2025: Food is probably a lot to say and I only had one cup of coffee... but listen here ❤️ it's worth driving for. You can get both beer and Irish wine - and if you have a weakness for board games, you've come to the right place.

Unfortunately, we only found out when paying that they only accepted Mobilepay (which we didn't have as tourists) or cash. We were very surprised by this, since you can usually pay by credit card at any small village bakery.
So we had to pay in cash with euros. Luckily, we had some euros with us.

You order directly at the counter, and your drinks are served immediately.
We had no trouble finding a table, but the restaurant wasn't empty.
The fish and chips, cheeseburger, and Kyllingeburger were delicious. My personal recommendation (since I ordered it for myself) is the Kyllingeburger. The breaded chicken pieces were perfectly cooked. Crispy crust and juicy, tender meat.

01/09/2026: A very cozy café in the city center. Delicious and fresh fish dishes, a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly service. We only ordered one dish, and it was generously portioned and served on two plates... and it was plenty for both of us! We left completely satisfied. We'd gladly come back anytime.

10/05/2026: Really delicious food - it exceeded our expectations!
The rooms and breakfast lacked nothing. Nice, clean and tidy.
We used the spa at the swimming pool right behind the hotel, and that was also a nice experience.
21/04/2026: Allergens: Please note that the kitchen and serving potential have very limited insight into allergens despite the place's 'gourmet' self-perception. Unfortunately, I experienced that there was egg in a dish despite 3 repeated inquiries. This meant stomach ache, nausea and medical treatment. Disappointing.

26/09/2026: As we had someone in a wheelchair, we asked if they had an entrance for this, they immediately found a ramp, which was laid. Nice buffet, and cozy atmosphere..
1st time we were there, but definitely not the last time ...
26/08/2026: Back again. This time not for the buffet, but their tenderloin. I don't need any other steakhouses after this experience. They can do that too ❤️

17/07/2026: The truth is that your pizzas have gone down in quality. It's hard to understand how with all the good stuff on them it tastes like nothing. AND you seriously need to go back to making a "normal" size pizza again! It's embarrassing and you get really angry when you see your micro pizzas at WAY too high a price! Get yourselves together! 😘 It's well-intentioned criticism.
Will come again, but it won't last..

Krohavens Familiecamping

15/07/2026: Nice family camping along the national cycling route 1. There is a separate tent area for cyclists who are passing by and staying for one night. We (2 persons) stayed here for one night with our small tent for 200 kr on our cycling trip. There's enough shade between the trees when placing your tent on a warm day. Showers are warm and clean. Toilets are also clean. Highly recommended camping for staying a night while traveling the west coast of Denmark by bicycle!

06/09/2026: The food was delicious and the portion was ample.
It's a shame that dessert was no longer available at 8:20 pm 🤷♀️ Apparently, the kitchen was already closed.
19/08/2026: The staff were very friendly, but unfortunately the ice cream wasn't good and the freezer was quite shabby, containing only crystalline remnants. We also couldn't get any soft serve. Two stars for the lovely location by the harbor, but that's about it.
