17/04/2025: The food was beyond terrible. Absolutely unbearable value for money. Dirty, unloving, and filthy. The food is more than enough to spoil your meal. If you can't find anything else, you'd better go hungry.

The owners are so warm and friendly. The food and service is great. You feel like you're with friends.

13/05/2025: If you like fish, this is the place to go! An excellent buffet with various fish and seafood dishes, along with delicious side dishes. The prices are reasonable. We'd love to go back next time we're in the area.

07/05/2025: We were there again for Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is very cozy, the service is very friendly and the selection at the buffet is very large, both sweet and savory dishes and everything is freshly prepared. It costs 149 crowns per person excluding drinks, which is a very good price-performance ratio given the selection and quality of the food. It is advisable to reserve a table as the café is very busy. Dogs are allowed. There was even a bowl of water and a few treats without asking.
11/04/2025: 4/4-25 I and a friend were at Amalie and ordered brunch. The coffee was strong and lukewarm, we asked for a new pot. Crumbled egg was crusty and crumbled was not warm. After another inquiry to the staff, we had it exchanged for a newly made one. The salmon was bad and smelled a lot of fish. 3 salted almonds on a plate and incredibly sparse cold cuts and fruit. The only thing they offered was to deduct the coffee from the bill. There will NEVER be again. I have heard from other people in Thybo that you should come when there are many guests. As this is the only time you can be sure the food is in order. Otherwise you get old raw materials
