22/05/2025: Really good prices on fresh fish. Their Stjerneskud is like in Hanstholm. Unfortunately the selection is not as large. That's why they get 4 stars and Hanstholm of course gets 5 for their menu and selection

15/07/2025: It's one of the best fish restaurants in the area. The fish buffet, in particular, is sensational, even if it has declined somewhat in recent years.
03/07/2025: Went in to order their sirloin steak which is what they have in addition to their fish buffet.
I'm not one who usually chooses fish as either the 1st or 2nd choice.
Checked out the buffet and decided to try it anyway.
Made it through all the dishes and must say that it really put my fear of fish to shame.
I would like to highlight the crayfish salad and the cold smoked salmon as being in a class of their own.
Absolute recommendation from here and not the last time I visit Niels Juel

27/07/2025: Like La pizza in Hanstholm, the food is fantastic. Here, the same team is behind it, and they have chosen an equally delicious spot. We have enjoyed a wide selection of sharing dishes and a delicious red wine at sunset and great company.

17/07/2025: Virkelig kedelig pizza!! Bestemt ikke pengene værd. Salaten var bleg og kedelig, osten intetsigende, bunden var fint afbagt men helt uden smag og bleg.

02/08/2025: Really good experience! We were two couples who had a nice evening at La Grande in Vorupør. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed. A place we can highly recommend – we would love to come again!
02/08/2025: Great place for the whole family! We were two adults and three children and everyone had a really good experience. Friendly staff and tasty food the kids loved the pizzas.

23/04/2025: Great little snack bar, good selection of different hot dog sausages, prices are fair. You will be served quickly and you can either eat there or take away. We have eaten there several times and have always been very satisfied. If you are in the area it is worth a visit. You can order there in Danish, English or German :)
