27/12/2025: Excellent service and excellent food. Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. We especially enjoyed the house burger and the chicken burger. Because of our dog, we sat outside. In December, we were sheltered on the terrace and enjoyed fantastic sunshine with a view of the small harbor. Highly recommended :-)

10/12/2025: I got a house burger with an extra steak. Even though the steaks were well-done, they were good and juicy. The dressing, which was homemade, tasted great on the burger. Good thick and crispy cucumber slices and fresh salad. The fries could have been fried a little more, at least for my taste, but they were big and beautiful, and the homemade dill dressing that comes with them tasted absolutely fantastic. A good portion. I definitely didn't leave hungry. It's a fish shop and bistro in one, with a view of the harbor. Nice clean surroundings. Nothing flashy, but it works and is proper, and the service was really good. All in all, a super nice experience.

16/11/2025: Lovely place! Concerts, courses and other exciting events. And you can get food and coffee and cake at the Food Workshop at very reasonable prices. Recommended!

15/10/2025: This is how they ruined a 40th birthday… 😢🇩🇰 We had reserved a table well in advance and were looking forward to a nice lunch – but when we arrived, our table had been given away to someone else. The waitress just looked down at her computer and said: “I see your reservation, but your table has been given away.” No apology. No solution. No respect. A table was left in the middle of the chaos – perfect if you love noise, passing guests and the feeling of being a decoration. We left instead. It wasn’t the 40th birthday present we had hoped for. But considering the level of service, we didn’t dare ask them to wrap it up – it had probably gone to someone else anyway.

14/10/2025: This place is fantastic! No less. I have been to a lot of steakhouses around the world. They know what they are working with at Amalies. Great service from staff, cosy atmosphere - and most importantly - well prepared meat in solid quality. Grilled over flaming coal and served with a smile and local craft beer. Definitely recommended!

19/08/2025: Quiet, family campsite. The sanitary facilities were temporary in the cells, but they were clean with hot water. New ones are under construction. The owner was nice and friendly. Upon request, we had warm pastries ready at the reception in the morning.

11/08/2025: One night stay in a tent when passing through. Little playground for kids to keep them busy was appreciated as well as late check in and outside shelter to cook our meal. WC and shower were a bit smaller units, but clean and there was enough of them.

18/08/2025: Got something much better, we bought 3 rolls and a piece of breakfast bread, the coarse bircher was edible, the rest was dry. We spent the night at the lake in a camper, not a bakery we regularly use.

18/11/2025: 2024: Once Denmark's best hot dog stand, but has declined in quality after the change of ownership... 2025: And now it's completely gone downhill. Shrunken overcooked hot dogs and overly dry hot dog bread despite the fact that the price has just increased by 10%. Scary and boring. For more than 30 years I came to "Danmarks Bedste Pølsevogn", which has now sold out, but I now drive to Biltema in the east city, which serves soft delicious hot dogs for 25% of the price. Practice :(

29/10/2025: Friendly and fast service. Wide selection of hotdogs and sausages. We had a classic hotdog with three kinds of sauces, onions and cucumbers. It was delicious.

19/10/2025: Cozy and unpretentious. Tasted good but nothing special. Got fish fillet with fries.

28/09/2025: Delicious fish and chips. Arrived quickly and hot. Nothing better.

15/09/2025: Fast food type cuisine, but relatively good and very generous. On the other hand, a small downside is that we could not access the indoor dining room because we were accompanied by our dog (not allowed) and we found ourselves outside in the cold and rain to eat our meal... it's a shame! Because the timing was mixed!

04/09/2025: Can fully recommend. Burgers and Ribs are very good. Also the small Salad and Potatoe Sides Buffet is very good. Our small Child was allowed to eat from the buffet with no extra charge. Went there twice on our last trip and will visit again if we ever come back for holidays.

16/08/2025: Lovely hotel, clean and tidy, good breakfast, a little noisy in the room, but that's the case in many places, in old hotels.

19/05/2025: Large room with a large, comfortable bed. Beautiful, large pool. Absolutely quiet, window open, not a sound. Second door in the room eliminates hallway noise. Very good breakfast.
