08/09/2025: As long as you don't mind the view of an industrial harbor, you'll be treated to large servings of traditional Danish meals at fair prices. Excellent food. The daily special will give you the most bang for your buck.

30/08/2025: It could be done better. We had a fish burger, with home-breaded fish fillets, and they were definitely good. Now that you're going to the trouble, why ruin it with a lousy salad, a lousy bun, cucumbers cut in a wild flood, and tiny little shrimp? Too bad.

06/08/2025: So this is has been one of our go to restaurants, due to the location. The food is usually really good and the kitchen staff, management staff are lovely. However, that leaves the waiters and waitresses. Unfortunately many of them have a very condescending attitude, they’re very short with you and you can hardly get a smile from a lot of them. Last time we were there we ordered a dish, and three things were missing. I went to the waitress and asked, she went to the kitchen and came back and said they’re out. Which fine, that can happen. However I wanted to know why she didn’t tell us before ordering so we could have ordered something else. I quote what she said: “I’m just a waitress I don’t know what’s going on back there”. Which is, part of the job. We did not get an apology and just paid and left, paid full price for a 70% of the meal we ordered. If you want slightly better service this is not the place. As I can’t reply to the comment left, I will reply here: we visited 5th of August, around 14.

19/08/2025: Quiet, family campsite. The sanitary facilities were temporary in the cells, but they were clean with hot water. New ones are under construction. The owner was nice and friendly. Upon request, we had warm pastries ready at the reception in the morning.

11/08/2025: One night stay in a tent when passing through. Little playground for kids to keep them busy was appreciated as well as late check in and outside shelter to cook our meal. WC and shower were a bit smaller units, but clean and there was enough of them.

21/08/2025: We each ordered pasta bolognese. It was straight from a can. The pasta was overcooked. You had to search for the meat in your plate (thankfully). The atmosphere wasn't inviting. Luckily, we only saw the partially open kitchen when paying. Service was terrible. We were the first customers, and he wrote down everything (2x bolognese and 2x sparkling water), but it still came out wrong. Not too bad, but annoying. It would be understandable if the place was busy and busy. They call it an Italian restaurant. That has nothing to do with Italy! So, better not come here for the food. Use it as a post-surfing refreshment break or something.

02/08/2025: Great place for the whole family! We were two adults and three children and everyone had a really good experience. Friendly staff and tasty food the kids loved the pizzas.

12/06/2025: Is there a chef present? The worst burger! The Vesterhavsburger with fried white fish - yes it was so fried that it was almost only breading - Oh yes and then bones - there can be small bones in fish but not 5 cm big bones. The bun - I think it was, was more than well done it was so toasted that it could not be cut but had to be broken into pieces - a double bun seems softer.

22/05/2025: Fantastic location in a small alley in Thisted's pedestrian street. The food is top class and the service is good. However, the prices are not for students or retirees.

27/07/2025: Like La pizza in Hanstholm, the food is fantastic. Here, the same team is behind it, and they have chosen an equally delicious spot. We have enjoyed a wide selection of sharing dishes and a delicious red wine at sunset and great company.

18/08/2025: I came down to Kwix with a bad taste in my mouth everything you did that I was the reason, when I saw the little tender boy standing at the checkout I was completely happy inside. I asked his name. His name was Villads. 5 stars from here he should 100% get a raise.
