13/07/2024: Perfect public house which makes you feel part of the Hurup community, even if you're just passing through. If you come from a small village in the UK, you'll understand exactly what I mean. Such a cozy and warm atmosphere!

08/10/2024: The restaurant is cozy and maritime decorated, and has the most beautiful terrace with a view of the sunset over the sea. But the fish buffet was a big disappointment, both in terms of selection and quality.

09/08/2024: Nice view, excellent service, very tasty food. If your child is a gourmet when it comes to food and overdoes it, then even here they eat fish and cutlets. P.S. Drinks are a bit pricey, but the buffet is good and the place is worth a visit!

05/02/2025: Booked a lovely stay for 2 days. It is clean and nice here. The food is fantastic and top notch. A really nice and talented young woman served us in the restaurant. Her name was Amalia. Really skilled. Has an eye on each finger. The rooms are just clean. So lovely. Big kudos to the cleaning staff. We've been here before. Then it was also at the top. 11/03/2025: Visited Thisted and tried one of the sandwiches in here… the worker’s attitude was not alright… might had a bad day…anyway a bit expensive than other places and was not as expected… dry, tasteless and boring… I’ll find another place to buy one next time I visit this town!

09/03/2025: I've just been in to eat starfish and must admit it's probably the most boring and driest starfish I've ever been served. And then at a price of DKK 234, where at least for that price you should use fresh ingredients and cook it accordingly. There was a single fish fillet and it was fried so much that the breading was crunchy like hard chips and the fish itself inside was flat and dry, and then on top was a slice of bread that was at least as crunchy. The prawns were also dry and rubbery. The freshest thing on that plate was probably the lettuce, tomato and fennel with which it was garnished. My boyfriend got a steak sandwich that also tasted better. Also there fries were cooked so much they were dry and hard. A disappointing experience that we have not previously experienced on site. But it must be said that the waitress who served was sweet, friendly and smiling.

15/02/2025: I went out to eat at the restaurant which has now merged with the cafe, the food was perfect and it came very quickly. It was a full house so there was a lot of noise. Even though there were lots of people, the checkers were still good at checking if everything was as it should be. Absolutely fantastic experience. However, you have to remember to book a table (I had done that), otherwise you may be asked to go again, now I was out to eat on Valentine's Day, which was probably why there were so many.
