27/10/2024: Pizza was super dry, burnt with burnt pieces of bacon and some mushrooms (even though I did not order pizza with mushrooms)

25/09/2024: Waited 38 minutes for a pizza and it was not hot. The person at the cashier was extremely rude.. The tables were not cleaned.

03/11/2024: Delicious pizza with fresh high quality ingredients and excellent dough, but way overpriced. Very limited vegetarian options. The atmosphere is cozy leaning towards pretentiousness. Service was the lowest point of the overall experience, a bit slow and disorganised.

18/10/2024: A really good experience with really delicious pizzas, friendly and welcoming staff and a good atmosphere. Can definitely be recommended and must be tried.

05/10/2024: Got takeaway from here in October 2024. We ordered early on a Saturday evening and the order was ready within 15 minutes. The pizzas were pretty good for the price. The dough was okay, soft and well-cooked, but I very much prefer the Neapolitan style dough. The topping combinations were tasty and interesting and the topping quantity was pretty good. The prosciutto was extremely salty though. Overall, this was far from the best pizza I've ever had, but it was pretty decent and reasonably priced, so I'd be okay with getting takeaway here again.

20/10/2024: I ordered a simple pizza margarita, which after 45min I hadn't received. We reminded the waiters who apologized and said that it was now on its way. After another 20min, when we asked, they told me that it had been forgotten and would only be started now. How does a restaurant forget an order twice?!? I cancelled my order then. As a silver lining, they offered me the pizza for free to go, but instead of a pizza evening with friends I got cold pizza at home. Disappointing.

09/10/2024: Nice place, it’s perfect to enjoy a amazing time and having delicious pizzas. Good balance between price and quality. In my case, I spent for one pizza+2 beers= 250DKK/34EUR

13/10/2024: I don't often share my opinion and when I do I try to focus on the positive experiences. However, I get a little overpassionate when I experience something that is harmful to small local environments such as in Gilleleje. In Gilleleje, there is a fantastic cultural center with a no less than fantastic cinema, which we visited most recently yesterday. There is also a restaurant, Bolværket, with a reasonable interior. Nothing special at all, but fits in well in a cultural center environment. However, they have a great pizza oven and some decent pizza guys. For that reason, Gilleleje's best pizzas are produced there. Then everything should be fine, but they just aren't. More often than not, you are met with rude service and very often you have to wait significantly longer than promised for the take-away pizzas. Once in the past years (we have had a holiday home in G for almost 20 years) there has been a reasonable waiter who has offered a cup or two while waiting for the badly delayed pizza. Tonight, however, they took the prize. Pizza ordered online at 5.30pm with collection at 6pm, mind you the time determined by them. When I arrive at 17.55 I am told that they are very busy and it may take a little longer. Several guests subsequently arrive and ask about their pizzas and receive the same message. A man gets the message that he has to wait over an hour and asks for money back and canceled order. At around 18.15 I ask about my pizza and get the message that unfortunately they can't say anything about it. Gets a bit blown away by that message but basically gets a message to behave properly??? Hmmmm, there must be someone here who hasn't read the big service manual. The end is that I also ask for repayment and have to go to bed hungry 😵‍💫 . The moral of this experience, and something I hope the restaurant will take seriously, is that if you offer a service and/or a product that you cannot deliver on, then you lie flat, apologize and find a way to compensate the customer. No one is too big to shut down and it is a shame in a small community like Gilleleje if that kind of virus spreads. The small communities need the good atmosphere and the good service even more than the big cities. Good luck with the improvement work.

20/08/2024: bolværket gjorde hvad den kunne for at spolere vor premiereaften (One Life). Efter 1 time og flere "rykkere" fik vi serveret en dårligt tilberedt pizza til 147 kr og mistede et interessant foredrag og bobler før filmstart.

02/10/2024: Great little pizza place, I had a lovely Hawaiian pizza, at a very reasonable price of 79 kroner. The small could best be shared by two people.

11/11/2024: Service started out really well but at the end of the evening, it was really hard to come in contact with a waiter. On top of that, there was no ‘goodbye, thank you for coming’ when we left. They were too busy talking amongst themselves. The food was honestly very disappointing. Starters were okay but lacked flavor. I had the Danish pork roast: pickled cucumber was so overly salted, I couldn’t eat it and neither could my friend. The top part of the pork that was supposed to be crispy was chewy as hell. The sauce was bland… I could keep going. I will not be coming back here. Just not worth it.

16/10/2024: Had lunch in the middle of autumn holidays, surprisingly quiet. Good food and friendly service.

27/09/2024: Horrible experience, i saw a guy behind the counter, he dropped the food on floor and put it back to the plate and served. When i told them that they started to talk aggressively and denied it. VERY UNHEALTHY.

01/09/2024: Worst service ever. We wait in line for a long time only to be told we can no longer have brunch. It is absolutely nowhere on the board when their brunch ends, so I say to the guy with the mustache, who is also standing and pissed off that it is busy, that he could have just said it before we waited. After that, I get yelled at in the back of my neck and we go out. WORST EXPERIENCE
