28/07/2025: Das Essen zeichnete sich generell durch einen niedrigen Rohstoffstandard aus. Die Pizza Salami war durchschnittlich; die Quattro Fromaggio geschmacklos, von Frische keine Spur: eine dünne, verhärtete Schicht von geschmacklosen Käse mit 5-6 kalten Stücken obendrauf (ich bin mir nicht sicher, was das darstellen sollte). Der Parmesan war völlig geschmacklos, wahrscheinlich billig & industriell verarbeitet. Wir haben die Pizza zurück gegeben, jedoch zeigte das Personal kein Verständnis für die Einwände. Unsere Kellnerin war sehr freundlich und motiviert. Als die Rechnung jedoch kam, versuchte die Oberkellnerin jetzt die zurückgegebene Pizza trotzdem zu berechnen, auch hier kein Verständnis. Uns wurde gesagt, wir seien die Ersten, die sich beschwert hätten – eine Bemerkung, die in so einer Situation wenig nützlich ist. Traurig über Qualität diskutieren zu müssen, der Ehrgeiz fehlt hier schlicht hin. Daher nur 2 Sterne für den Service, trotz der guten Tischkellnerin. Einen Besuch schlicht nicht wert. Die Stadt hat mehrere bessere Restaurants.

15/05/2025: Fantastic food, really good taste in their pita bread, with the menu also having plenty of French fries and a can of soda! The lady who runs it is a mood bomb without equal, really sweet and she gave an extra free soda when she heard we came from Jutland 😊

07/08/2025: Super delicious food, whether it's pizza, pasta, burgers, or dürüm! There's a great selection of dishes, the service is super friendly, and you can sit comfortably outside. The value for money is excellent, especially for Denmark! I highly recommend this place!

23/07/2025: Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. We had ordered 4x pizza and 1x fries. One was supposed to be a deep pan pizza, but was not baked completely and was probably more of a double crust pizza than a deep pan. 2 of the other pizzas had not received the extra toppings that had been ordered. The only pizza that was nice was the salad pizza - but of course it is a shame when you are a whole party and it is only one pizza. Either we have hit an unlucky day, or I would not recommend it.

27/03/2025: We ordered two deep pan pizzas, which tasted really good but don't look like the shadow of a deep pan to me, so it was a bit of practice lightning fast delivery so satisfied meeeen deep pan is at least an omer

29/08/2025: We were shown to a table that hadn't been cleaned. We waited sooooo long for our food. And finally the brought us a kid pizza with the wrong topping. It was so bad that it became comical

26/08/2025: First (and last) time eating at Frankies! My husband and I were on our way to Frb Have and wanted a quick lunch, so we chose to share a menu (one starter, one main course, one dessert), we had our dog with us and were the only ones sitting outside. Despite a nearly empty restaurant, the waiter didn't come back to take our order, and I finally went inside to order. Was told that the waiter would come out, even though we were both standing right in front of the machine, where she could have easily taken my order. We waited another few minutes before the waiter came. Our starter came quickly and was really delicious (caprese), but after that we waited forever for one pizza, long enough that we had to go back in and ask. I think they simply forgot that we were sitting outside, which can happen the first time, but just not good service. I think the pizza was the worst pizza I've ever had, it sounds harsh, but it's true. Several pizza pieces were up to 10cm without filling and the rest of the pizza had huge blobs of mascarpone under huge blobs of straciatella. There was so much soft mascarpone and soft straciatella in the same bite that it became mushy, while other bites were inedible dry. I think the chef could have easily distributed the cheese, but it was in big blobs in the middle of the pizza. And if only the pizza dough was juicy like other chains, we would happily eat the crusts, but they were dry and flat like crispbread. I read other reviews that call their pizza ‘flatbread with topping’ and I can really nod in recognition of that. In reality, you get ½ pizza with filling and ½ crispbread, but the price matches other pizzas in town. No wonder they sell crust dip on the menu – you really need that ;) We had to get the dessert (ice cream) as takeaway because we had been sitting for so long that we had gotten cold in the late summer sun (under a full parasol, almost a roof). We thought a sharing menu would be a relatively quick lunch solution in a largely empty restaurant, but that was not the case. Practise. The only positives to mention are the caprese appetizer which was really fresh and delicious, and then the cool terrace where you sit elevated above the street with a nice view. If only they would put the parasols down so you can enjoy the late summer heat - and remember when they put guests outside!

29/08/2025: The restaurant opened for the weekend where they advertised that they had gotten hold of some super good Angus meat and therefore offered a 2-course menu. We booked a table for Friday evening at 7 pm. When we arrived we were told we could only order pizza…… Told why we were there and what they were advertising. She wanted to ask in the kitchen but never came back and just served other tables and we could then stand and stare. We therefore chose to leave. I can also see that the owner himself has made a 5-star review and lots of praise for his own restaurant on TripAdvisor 2 days ago!!!!!!

28/12/2024: On December 28th at 4:50 PM, I came to eat pizza, but unfortunately, due to my current diet, I needed to finish eating by 6:00 PM at the latest. When I entered, I was told, “We cannot let you in; this place is closed, and we can only let you in again at 6:00 PM.” This ridiculous rule, which is not written anywhere, was shocking. I will post about this disgrace on all forum sites to ensure no one else experiences it. I hope your business doesn’t prosper.
