The staff are both professional and friendly and are always ready to help. It is clear that they love their work and it rubs off on the guests. I myself have had the pleasure of tasting their famous shooting star several times, and each time it has been an extraordinary taste experience. The fresh ingredients and the creative preparation are in a class of their own. I've eaten shooting stars in many places, but none compare to Nerd. It is simply the best I have ever tasted. I was so excited when I first visited the restaurant that I could hardly believe that it was possible to make such a perfect shooting star. But every time I return, the quality is just as high. 14/05/2025: Consistently perfectly cooked fish and veg; good service; pleasant atmosphere. Good location, on the harbour. The only downside is that the outside eating area is in shade from about 7pm in May. In my view the best fish restaurant in Skagen.

04/05/2025: Simple and uncomplicated ordering possible in English. Quick serving. Friendly enterprising staff. The fish 'n chips we ordered were fresh and tasted delicious, but had nothing to do with English fish 'n chips. Still happy again.

16/04/2025: Luksusstjerneskud! Den kogte fisk var tør og kedelig. Jeg var den første der fik øl fra hanen. Doven øl fra slangen der havde stået natten over. Stegt fiskefilet var rigtig god, og pil selv rejerne var lækre.

19/05/2025: Despite the open kitchen and fully automatic coffee machine, there wasn't even any hot water left to warm up the baby food. Our request for warming up was immediately denied. For us, this was an absolute no-go in terms of friendliness and actually not even worth a star. We're not used to this from any other coffee shop, restaurant, or similar establishment in Denmark.

23/02/2025: Har besøgt Jacobs Fiskerestaurant en del gange efterhånden, men syntes det atter var tid af sende en vurdering af stedet. Var der til frokostbuffet og der var klokken 13.00 en hel del gæster. Fik hurtigt et bord og fik bestilt drikkevarer og så kunne man gå i buffeten. Rart at personalet mindede alle om ,sprit hænder og brug plast en gangs handsker der ligger klar til brug. Her er bare så mange lækre retter, salater, supper og godt brød så det er svært at vælge, man kan simpelthen ikke prøve alt. Men utroligt lækkert anrettet og der blev hele tiden fyldt op med nyt, dejligt. God kvalitet og priser der stemmer. Kommer gerne igen og kan anbefale stedet.

18/01/2025: Super lækker buffet. Mange retter. Der blev hele tiden fyldt op og skiftet ud, så den hele tiden var frisk og indbydende. Indretningen er lidt trist, da lokalet er så stort, men far man et bord ude i kanten, mærkes det ikke så meget. Styr på hygiejnen. Sød betjening.
