31/03/2024: The Easter platter was pleasant and quite good. The service was extremely slow as they only had one waiter for the entire restaurant. We had to wait for a long time to be served, in between courses and for extra bread.

08/02/2024: Sensible waiters were a bit tired of tourists.
They have hot lamps on on a sunny day, here you are obviously just as happy with the climate crisis and its context. They were offended when I mentioned it.

The staff is very friendly and you can communicate well in English.
We would come back there again at any time.

22/01/2024: We had dinner as a group of five and ordered several starters and mains. The dinner menu is delicious. The cod (Stegt Torsk) is impressive and the Stjerneskud is a great dish to share. Of the starters, the prawn with garlic and the excellent fish croquettes. The atmosphere is warm, the table and service very comfortable and the views (it is a whole window of the marina) are very pleasant.
09/12/2023: There was only 19 degrees in the restaurant.
Takes some of the fun out of it.

Appetizer some pickfish under some salad.
Main course lukewarm lamb and potato lump.
Dessert brownie hard as concrete.
Brought new guests to the place, they/we were disappointed.
10/11/2023: This is a really good restaurant. The food is excellent and priced very fairly considering that it is placed in Gl. Skagen. In the basement there is a disco and in the summertime there is also a pizzaria open where you can buy good takeaway pizzas. Often there is also live music, that is why i highly recommend this place...

11/02/2024: One of the restaurants in Skagen harbourfront (they all look the same). Food is okay, prices a bit high for what you get but the atmosphere is in top..They serve beer and wine to the food, the service is OK..i recommend this place if you like to sit and watch life go by..
Update 2024: in the wintertime you can order online thaifood for takeaway at Havfruen. This thaifood is the best I have tasted outside Thailand, my very very best recommendations🙏🇹🇭😋

09/11/2023: Der er meget man bør undgå på buffeten, alt for meget der ikke hjemmelavet og som smager derefter.
Der er også meget der er friskt og som smager dejligt, dog ned en tendens til at være overtilberedt.
Service halter på alle punkter.
17/10/2023: Flott buffet til tross for mange gjester. God fiskemat og mange varianter. Ok pris både på mat og drikke. Oppmerksom betjening og riktig hyggelig lokale. På alle måter, en vellykket kveld for oss to.

18/10/2023: The "home-made" Fish&Chips" were breaded and not dipped in "batter" and almost still frozen inside. Sweet staff, quick service, the food shamefully poor for overpriced, but nice place in the sun.
27/08/2023: Nice relaxed place. And with a view of the harbour. The food, shooting stars that they advertise with, was fine. And yet scratched. The plaice a little too deep-fried and covered in dressing. It seems a bit like a discount. Friendly (young) staff.
The table was dirty and the menu decidedly dirty. Maybe because it's the end of the season.
