30/03/2024: we came to Marielyst for Easter. our first dinner was takeaway pizza. We ordered 7, everything was delicious. Our second meal was, salads and burgers, also takeaway. no problems, good food, good service

30/03/2024: We have come in all seasons - have eaten both lunch and dinner. We were looking forward to season 2024 - but ended up with a long nose: first we waited 45 minutes for the starter with half-raw fish without taste, then "Marken rundt" - genderless. Main course with good lamb but set high Max 50 g. Dessert where the ice cream was half to completely melted. We ordered extra bread twice as the portions were far too small. One of us had been promised a different dessert when choosing the evening's menu, but when we got to the dessert, the original dessert was served but told that they didn't have the second - which was strange as we were the first in the restaurant there placed order that evening. Friendly service but disorganized. Overall, difficult to recognize the level from previous years - sad experience.

30/03/2024: Shockingly bad restaurant experience for the price. The food was bland to say the least - overcooked, undersalted and unimaginative. You got the experience of both inexperience and lack of ideas in the kitchen. The service was even worse than the food. The waiting staff were very young - unfortunately both ignorant of the wine and the food on the menu. During the evening I became, among other things, asked for my opinion regarding one of the dishes, to which I expressed that it unfortunately lacked salt and was overcooked. To this the waiter simply replied: "Well, you could have just asked if you could have some salt", took the plates and went into the kitchen. I have never experienced anything like it, and almost laughed with astonishment. It must also be said that I had asked about salt earlier - but it required two separate inquiries and a full 5 minutes for the staff to get salt to the table. A place I wish was good, but unfortunately it was anything but!

28/03/2024: The only dog-friendly restaurant we have found and probably the best in the entire city. Prices are really affordable (around 149-169 DKK for food, 49-69 DKK for beer, 69/239 DKK for a glass/bottle of wine. The entire crew speaks English and if you're lucky also Polish and Romanian. They serve ice creams, too. The place is on a ground floor with outside garden. Is wheelchair accessible.

11/02/2024: Very cosy small restaurant. Authentic Thai food with spiciness according to taste. And the food is really excellent, very very good, and very high bang for the buck.

29/03/2024: Delicious pizza, good with toppings! Not the last time I order from there. Edit: Rude and uncomprehending service at checkout and via phone. Pizza not quite as good as last time when they probably just changed one they had made wrong instead of making a new one correctly.
