15/05/2025: Good and beautiful surroundings and a super cozy place with good food.

30/06/2025: 2 stars for location. We got so many red flags, but decided to give the place a chance. Right from the start, things go wrong. My mother asks for a toilet, to which one of the staff just points to the door. There is only 1 guest in the restaurant, while there are two staff present (and several in the kitchen) - they are not busy. We are told we can sit outside. We do so and wait without being noticed. I then go back inside to ask for a blanket, and to get the menu. The staff member instead looks at someone else and asks if they can get a blanket: “It’s at the till”, she says. I am so shocked by the lack of service that I don’t know what to say, after which she looks at her colleague: “Doesn’t she speak Danish?” Not only is there a lack of service, this is outright negative treatment. Later my father comes in to order food. He is sent out again carrying water and glasses, even though he is walking poorly with weak bones due to illness! And he even had to pay in advance - another sign that they have had problems with people running away from the bill, and I can understand that with the treatment you get here. For the sake of the atmosphere, here is a picture of a disgusting glass we were given :)

27/06/2025: The food was expensive, but tasted like something completely standard without any special quality or experience. The service was unfortunately really poor: We were asked to pick up and return the menu ourselves, find blankets ourselves in a thrown box, and we also had to fetch the water to the table ourselves. The glass we were given was clearly used, and the drinking water cost 45 kr for 75cl. The worst thing, however, was when the staff, instead of addressing me directly and politely, stood and asked each other right in front of my sister: “Doesn’t she speak Danish?” An unnecessarily condescending and unwelcoming way to treat their guests. The only positive thing about the place was the location – it is nicely located overlooking the harbor. But unfortunately that is not enough to make up for the bad experience, which I don’t think is worth the money.

12/07/2025: Delicious and plenty of food. Sweet and very service-minded waitress, many could learn from. Thank you so much for the really nice and good food 😃 despite the hustle and bustle of the Vordingborg festival week

26/06/2025: The food was alright but the vibe was good

27/06/2025: Was welcomed, seated at a table, waited 15 minutes for a menu card. Others who came in after us got a menu card before us, we had to ask for it ourselves. Wienerschnitzel was nice and hot, but it was us. Lukewarm sauce, lukewarm potatoes. All in all, 45 minutes from arrival to the food being on the table. There was a lot of noise in the small room, as there were many guests, and the space was tight.

25/06/2025: I ordered bruschetta and the lasagna. Both were tasteless. I also tried to order a side salad, but was unable to. The server pointed out that only the 3 large dinner salads were an option. Then she pointed out that I could change my order to a shrimp dish that came with a small side salad. I don't think it was a translation issue, she even apologized that a side salad wasn't available with the lasagna. I would not eat here again. It was disappointing.

15/05/2025: Steaks maybe 20 - 60% meat the rest is bone paste and other unknown things in these so-called Steaks if you can call them Steaks, but these so-called Steaks are completely lost in the small burger bun the diameter of the steak is probably 5cm, thickness is probably approx. 5mm. The bun is not very airy and consists of wheat flour-water-yeast and other aids, it is put between the bun and the steak is very calculated so you have to rinse it well so it doesn't stick in your throat if you are lucky you see a nice slice of tomato or cucumber then a little lettuce also very little chopped raw onion but you can't taste them, because it's been a long time since there was a little taste of Danish raw onions in them. that's probably what you can call a classic Mac D. Burger and these classic burgers as shown in the advertisements in the restaurant are far from what you get, there you can see cucumber and tomato slices as well as onion rings and a delicious steak in the burgers. You could call that misleading the customers. Yes, we forgot to mention the fries along the way and you shouldn't be afraid that there are too many of them and unfortunately they are almost always half cold and they get cold quickly if you're lucky they can be really hot but if you're hungry and on the go and don't have time to drive into town nearby to find a grill bar and you don't know if it's a proper grill bar with some good food and your grandchildren aged 6 and 4 would love to go to Mac D.

21/06/2025: We had booked a table for 8. Started with napkins with flies on them. Then a female clerk came who had no idea what service was. No smile or welcome. Drinks were served with dirty glasses. The food was practically thrown on the table. The food was so poor and sexless. Stay far away, complete waste of money.

04/01/2025: Martin who is a new tenant is fantastic good service super nice and always ready with a good offer and has nothing to do with the food🙏 Do yourself a favor go past the hot dog cart up there because the food is really indescribably bad you should simply stop serving food when that's what you have to deal with. Alternatively go into the bar and order a couple of toasts they are and also good with a red Tuborg I would have made this review last year when we had the same bad food there, but now it's the second time so it had to be up so everyone can see it, and why are you ordering it again I ask🤷‍♂️ you are forced to do that when you want to have a Christmas lunch at the tovecafe which is a legendary place

10/07/2025: Very good to excellent pizza, but specializes in takeout. If you want to eat in, there's hardly any seating.

06/04/2025: Bought 2 durum and 1 homemade pita, their kebab is completely tasteless (really boring) price and quality are fine enough but completely irrelevant when it doesn't taste of anything.

29/06/2025: They make big portions. Peace be with that. But double cheese on their pizzas makes them watery. And that's a shame. Because the ingredients are certainly not bad

10/05/2025: Super nice place, the food tastes good when you finally get what you ordered.. you often make mistakes when ordering and you often come home with the wrong thing..

07/06/2025: Really good experience! Everything on the plate was of the highest quality, and it tasted really fantastic! We ordered 2 Wienerschnitzels and dessert, which was absolutely sumptuous. We simply couldn't finish it. The waiter was really nice and created a good atmosphere. The place was cozy and gave a really good inn atmosphere. If I had to find anything negative, it would be that the chairs weren't super good, the backrest was stupid in relation to the lower back so both my wife and I had sore backs after we had sat there for a little over two hours. But a really nice place.

11/07/2025: Very nice location, super friendly staff. We booked a small room for one night, and everything was perfect. The dinner was delicious (well worth the price!), and the breakfast was plentiful with homemade products. The beach is only about a 10-minute walk away.

03/07/2025: Nice place in the nature 👍 rooms small, no TV 😐 limited Service times, no fridge available there to cool any drinks/food 😐 We missed a heartly attitute from the female owner 😐 as of our early departure, breakfast was not taken, but charged 😐 value for money quite low 😐 owner should more focus guest needs, than themselfes 😐 will not come back, lots of competition available to choose from 😉

07/07/2025: Lovely spot for lunch. I got the vegetarian sandwich and it was delicious. The pesto was really good. The atmosphere is also adorably and lovely inside.

02/07/2025: I'm still in shock that I paid 120kr for two iced coffees. Two tall, thin glasses with a little coffee with milk and ice cubes in them. Nothing else. 60k each. More expensive than in St. Mark's Square.
