15/08/2024: Wow! What a beautiful place. We were already driving into the driveway. And it really had an idyllic view. We were welcomed inside by the hostess herself. A nice woman. We asked for lunch and she mentioned panini and Smörrebröd. Even with my gluten allergy, the smörrebröd was no problem.
We sat outside in the garden. Wow again! What a beautiful place.
Lunch was delicious! Oh yeah, don't forget to have the ice cream for dessert. It was also very tasty and homemade!
10/08/2024: We ate smørrebrød and panini. The food was really well prepared and fresh. We sat in the garden with a view over fields and Stege Nor. A really nice place - we will definitely come again.

23/06/2025: I walked in and I said "wow". Lots of different flavors, it all looks good, but the ice creams are flavorless. They taste like frozen water mixed with chocolate or fruits.

Nothing concerning Hotel Praestekilde!
Yes, you read right, where else can you find a hotel, which can be rolling in a piano from storage so prof musicians can play and sing “ Moenssangen” and where else get home baked buns for breakfast? Much more than even a boutique hotel can come up with!
Especially good for groups with having the panorama rooms, having free access for room especially for the group and even be able to serve dogs in special rooms accessible for dogs. So “What’s not to like?” Nothing and see you again

18/05/2025: I had a decent stay at the hotel. The room was clean and tidy, but nothing special. The bed was OK – neither super comfortable nor downright bad. There was what you needed, but not much more than that.
The staff were friendly enough, but the service could have been a little more attentive. The breakfast was nice, but a bit monotonous, and perhaps lacked some fresh options.
All in all, it was a decent place to stay if you don't have too high expectations. The price was pretty much in line with the experience, so I don't feel like I was ripped off – but I would probably look for other options next time.

27/06/2025: At first glance, the ambiance is appealing and the concept is good. Unfortunately, the buffet isn't as good as it seems and the quality is very inconsistent. Many convenience items alternate with homemade dishes. Unfortunately, you can taste it. The cleanliness of the room, the glasses, and the restrooms, leaves much room for improvement. The prices are too high for this quality.

Clearly in the Top 3 of the best steaks I've ever had.
Got a festival menu,
Starter:
hot smoked salmon. - 9/10
Main course:
Steak with potatoes and bearnaise sauce 10/10
Dessert:
3 scoops of ice cream, with chocolate sauce on it. - 8/10
However, it's a bit of a letdown that they don't ask if you want potatoes or fries, when both are an option.
Plus there's just enough sauce..

We came 5 people on Friday during the festival week and couldn't be more satisfied.. We got both Ribeye and the Festival week menu and everything was so good.
Definitely recommended!

02/05/2025: Really nice and smiling staff. Not the best pastries, but coffee was good.
24/04/2025: Very nice cafe on the city's shopping street. There is a large selection of pastries and ice cream, the coffee is good and the space is cozy and large.
Communication in English was possible without any problems, everything tasted very good and the price was also completely reasonable.

13/05/2025: I ordered from the same place, 2 days later, a half eagle with fence and pita bread with kebab, mmmm it was delicious. Definitely a place I would recommend 🤩
04/03/2025: We have shopped in that Pizzaria a few times in the 10 years we have lived here. We have always shown our nice Danish indulgence. But now is enough, enough.
We have experienced incorrect ordering several times, and it is always my fault the times it has happened. Then they promise to replace next time.
You know how it sounds "Nexte gan" They just forget it as soon as you are out of sight.
They have difficulty understanding Danish and giving money back. The food can be a bit dry and boring during the last week of the month.
Apparently they only get food home once a month.
I would absolutely not recommend
Costa Del Sol pizzeria in Vordingborg.

22/04/2025: I had ordered Easter lunch for collection in the Cafe. We were very disappointed. There wasn't enough food on the plate for a normal person to be even moderately full. We were not impressed with the quality of the very, very small portions that were on the plate. The only thing that was enough was the dessert. But no one wanted to eat it.
If they call it an Easter lunch on the menu, I expect it to be a lunch. My guests thought it was an appetizer!
We will NOT do that again. There are other restaurants in Præstø that deliver food outside the house. We have always been satisfied with them. So we return to what we usually do. We paid DKK 169 per plate.
18/03/2025: A very nice and cozy cafe. Was served cappuccino and cheesecake - especially the cake was delicious! Friendly and welcoming service and cozy interior. Price for coffee DKK 45 and DKK 59 for the cake
