07/11/2024: Bought 4 honey cakes today and in my long life I have tasted many, but this model was a big disappointment, the chocolate shell was a centimeter thick so there was not much of ginger cake, we are used to Christiansfelder ginger cakes with a lot of chocolate on them.

29/10/2024: Bov Kro was in several ways a surprisingly good experience. We got a room in the not very nice extension, but got an apparently newly renovated and really nice room with a correspondingly nice bathroom. Our stay was part of a package, so we couldn't decide for ourselves what to have for dinner, but we were treated to delicious bread with tomato tapanade and then super well-roasted deer leg with mushrooms and port wine glace. And ended with a really good chocolate mousse. All in all a really delicious meal. The staff were nice, attentive and helpful. The inn can definitely be recommended.

Reservation in advance is recommended. Is always fully booked

We came to this café on a tour of Denmark because of the good reviews.
We can only agree with that.
We had pasta with salmon and fish & chips plus a cappuccino.
Everything was cooked, well seasoned, fresh, hot and nicely presented.
Croutons and goat cheese with a side salad? No restaurant I've been to has come up with the idea. I thought it was great 😊
On top of that, friendly and fast service.

When Kruså, the border between Denmark and Germany, we went to eat at La Perla, a fusion restaurant of Italian and Turkish food.
Ferhad, a very friendly Arab student (and Barça fan like me😎) who works there on weekends treated us so well and so closely that we thanked him, I called him by his name and told him to make me eat the dish that he likes to make the most.
What I didn't expect is that it would come with drinks for both of them (complete for free) and a delicious pizza invited by the house!
He rejected a tip several times, and my way of thanking him is by showing his big heart and good will. I wish I could treat the customer like Ferhad's! ❤️🥰

The outside terrace is unfortunately unadorned and bare... I don't know if it looks different in summer...
But the coffee and chai as well as the romkugle and cardamom snurre were very, very tasty!
The girl at the checkout spoke German perfectly… better than me 😜🤣
