08/09/2026: Lovely experience on a Thursday. We were greeted by smiling and happy staff who quickly showed us to our seats. We were given a menu and ordered a bun with cheese and a chocolate croissant as well as a cafe latte for both of us. It tasted lovely. The staff said goodbye and continued to have a good day as we left the place.

06/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kaffe Buttler in Aabenraa – our absolute favorite place! ❤️ Kaffe Buttler is without a doubt one of our absolute favorite places in Aabenraa, and every time we go out to eat or just treat ourselves a little, it is a place we always return to. Here you simply get a very special experience from the moment you walk in the door. The service is fantastic. The staff is so smiling, friendly, attentive and welcoming, and you feel really welcome. It is clear that the employees work really well together and have a lovely harmony with each other. It gives an incredibly nice and relaxed atmosphere. The place itself is really beautiful and thoroughly decorated. The decorations are so beautiful and harmonious, and even the small details have been thought of. Even the toilet is an experience in itself – clean, beautiful and incredibly nicely decorated. That says a lot about how much is done to the place and the guests' experience. The music in the background fits the atmosphere perfectly and helps create the cozy atmosphere without taking over. All in all, a super nice, cozy and harmonious place with fantastic service and wonderful staff. You can feel that love and care are put into everything. Five stars are simply not enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kaffe Buttler is our regular choice when we go out to eat in Aabenraa – and definitely our absolute favorite place. We are already looking forward to our next visit! ❤️

12/08/2026: Here, one can indulge in sweet treats without hesitation. The brownies with nuts are particularly recommended (they keep for several days and are perhaps a bit too gooey when fresh), as are the cinnamon rolls and the Viennese strudel.

24/08/2026: I love this place, it has become a tradition for my family to drive past here on the way home from Germany, Last time I got a whole coke, perfect service, delicious food. Highly recommended

Top service and personal service beyond the ordinary (you can sense that the staff is proud of Knapp, and want to give you an exquisite experience. Clean and neat rooms with soul. And you eat really well at Knappen (have been here many times in different contexts) 100% recommended

29/08/2026: An absolutely fantastic place in incredibly idyllic surroundings by the old mill pond. I was at Knapp for a 50th birthday and was really impressed. The food was of a very high standard, the wines excellent and the staff both professional, friendly and very welcoming. Later in the evening we sat on the terrace under the old willow tree with lights in the branches and a view of the water - a very special atmosphere. A fantastic experience and a place I would very much like to return to next time I am in those parts.

09/04/2026: Our friends had a staycation of this place before in December month & recommended this place to us. No regret! We too enjoyed this place. Its so serene, easy parking place, closed to the restaurant, garden & room! Breakfast - sufficient, delicious & fresh! Room - spacious & clean. Would be cool with a mini fridge & a little bigger tv. But the bathroom is awesome! Warm floor, spacious & the shower is wonderful! Dinner - delicious, beautifully decorated & beautifully made! Just too small portion. Its adequate for me but not for my husband. The price of the stay included with dinner & breakfast.

06/09/2026: Nice large selection of delicious rolls and cakes. We just needed a place where we could sit down and eat our breakfast, and we could do that here 😊👍 If you are sensitive to sound, there may be a bit of noise from the shop, air conditioning, etc.

31/07/2026: Amazing experience. Both dinner and breakfast definitely did not disappoint! Super fun for people who want to stay comfortable while out in nature 🫶🏽 It's easy to check in and out yourself and the view from the wagon was beautiful and peaceful.

17/07/2026: A really nice place with complete peace and lovely nature. However, there is a lack of information, when booking and on the website, about the café, including that it closes at 5 pm and had completely closed the week we arrived. It is annoying to discover, when you come by bike, that it is quite a walk to the nearest shopping opportunity.

25/07/2026: In the shopping street, right in the city center, you will find the cozy Malt & Grape. A super fun place specializing in wine, beer, and cocktails. We did a four-glass beer tasting here. We let the bartender surprise us, and his choices were spot on! An extra nice touch is that you can also buy individual bottles and beautiful beer and wine packages inside. Highly recommended for a fun afternoon or evening!
