13/10/2024: We were looking for something light and authentic for a quick lunch. The salmon salad here was wonderful paired with rye bread and a wholesome local beer! It was a beautiful spring day, so we stayed outside looking out on the water. We also had a nice visit with the owner. The vintage quilts folded on the benches for chillier days added charm and warmth!

30/08/2024: Having dinner here is worth a trip to Ærø. The restaurant serves a different three course menu every week. I‘m sure they will cater to any dietary requirements, but eating what they serve is key to the enjoyment here, so you shouldn‘t be too picky. You can feel the enthusiasm that goes into the preparation of the food and the wine accompaniment was very nice as well.

02/10/2024: You could just inform or think for yourself that if more rooms are ordered, it is probably because we want to be close to each other. Next, there are too few shared toilets compared to all the rooms that have to share them. The breakfast is fantastic and the location is also top notch

03/08/2024: right down to the water you will find one of ærø's most beautiful pearls! here always smiling staff serve delicious drinks in the sun, which you can enjoy while observing all the life at Marstal harbour. if you need a few extra socks, earrings or caps to complete your summer look, you can be sure that you can also find it at ballast. Can't recommend it enough!

24/10/2024: We rented a room for 1 day in the off-season at the end of October. 125 € was definitely too expensive. It is a room with fridge and sink, bathroom with shower and toilet Except the carpet, it was clean and great view of the sea. Room 22. If you are not used to a 5 star hotel, you can have a lovely holiday here.

15/08/2024: The pizza was great. The restaurant is sit-down only without any service. No take away because they can't handle the amount of orders that brings in. The owner is a bit of a knob too.
04/08/2024: Pizza was very tasty and quick, draft beer too, card payment possible, service was friendly, there is a playground next door for the children. There were enough guests that the simple ambience of the sailing club didn't feel strange.
