12/09/2026: The food, overall, was highly commendable. However, the ambiance left us rather puzzled. The establishment appears to harbor grand illusions of being an exclusive, high-cuisine destination, yet the actual setting, interior, and service failed to receive that particular memo. The staff’s hospitality could best be described as volatile. We were treated to a fascinating performance of mood swings - one moment warm and welcoming, the next inexplicably arrogant. While some tables enjoyed non-stop devotion, other customers were treated as if they wore invisibility cloaks. Adding to the theater was a table of elderly patrons who clearly mistook the dining room for their private living room. They made a remarkably loud entrance and treated other guests to a series of rude stares. Whether they were merely auditioning to look wealthy and posh or were indeed well-known, high-society regulars remains a mystery. Either way, basic hospitality dictates that all paying customers are treated with equal respect. Being young and quiet does not automatically imply a smaller bank account, nor should it qualify anyone for second-class treatment. Having dined at numerous Michelin-starred establishments worldwide, we have never encountered a service style quite this unwelcoming. It is a genuine pity, as the kitchen certainly does its part. If your ambition is to attract an international clientele—and not just cater exclusively to your circle of locals and regulars—favoritism is a rather poor business model. P.S. You might want to bear in mind that, occasionally, truly wealthy guests do walk into restaurants without dressing like a "wannabe rich guy." Do try to be prepared for that shocking revelation. :-)

03/09/2026: You just have to experience it for yourself. I was a bit disappointed with the portions and the preparation of some of the items. For example their hollandaise..

15/05/2026: We got pizza and pasta for the hotel. Good prices for Denmark and perfectly tasty. The people were nice too. If you're hungry and don't want to eat out in a big restaurant, this is the place to go.

09/06/2026: A durum kebab menu for sharing. Included in the menu were, fries, dip and a 1/2 ltr soda. 110 kr. There was plenty of food for 2 people. The taste was as you would expect it to be. Will we visit Milano Pizza again? If we are in that area again, yes absolutely. The staff deserves a 👍. We had a wonderful ping pong with them.

05/09/2026: Without a doubt the best Asian food I've had outside of Asia. The portions were a good size, the price was good and the taste and consistency were just right! The waiters were nice, attentive and very welcoming and funny. Despite the fact that it was a cold and windy September day, you sat warm and cozy under the parasol and heat in the courtyard. They really hit the nail on the head with this one! 10/10

20/05/2026: The hotel has a charming old-tavern atmosphere and plenty of character, which gives it a cozy and authentic feel. The restaurant dinner was exceptionally tasty, although somewhat expensive, and it’s worth noting that reservations are needed even for hotel guests. That said, there were a few areas where the experience fell short of expectations, especially considering the premium pricing. The mattress and bedding were not particularly comfortable — the mattress felt quite flat with almost no support, and the pillows were small and understuffed. Even using two pillows together didn’t provide much comfort the first night so I asked for another two. The blanket also felt rather small and basic, which unfortunately gave the room a more budget-hostel feel. The bathroom was large and charming in style, though cleanliness could have been improved, particularly in the shower area where there were some signs of mold. During my stay, there were also a large number of mosquitoes gathered around the windows. Thankfully they didn’t bite, but I was surprised to hear this was considered “normal” when I raised the issue. The staff were kind and attentive whenever available, reflecting the warm hospitality you would expect in a small town setting. However, reception was often unattended, requiring guests to ring a bell for assistance. Small details also contributed to the overall impression: the tea and coffee selection felt somewhat randomly selected from low-end “supermarket” brands, and the all-in-one shampoo/conditioner/shower gel dispenser added to the sense that guest comfort was not prioritized. The room itself was spacious and attractive, but the recurring “budget” touches throughout the stay felt somewhat out of place given the hotel’s “premium” pricing. I hope the owners will invest a bit more into this high-potential facility to make the experience in line with their pricing.
