11/12/2024: Super nice place. Good room which was nice and clean. It was only very nice and welcoming staff. Nice location in Kerteminde. Delicious breakfast with many different things - everything we needed to not leave the table hungry. We had booked a weekend stay with a 2 course first day and with a 3 course second day. Both meals were very good - good flavors and super good and polite servings. Good recommendations for choosing wine. I can definitely recommend the hotel.

05/12/2024: We were 4 sisters on a trip and we enjoyed every moment in Kerteminde and especially at the hotel. It completely met our expectations, well-maintained, clean and, not least, nice and welcoming staff. And a wonderful location - close to everything 🙋‍♀️ Delicious breakfast with everything we needed to get full 🤗 We were served with delicious 2 courses the first day and with delicious 3 courses the second day. And both servings were top notch and the amount of food was plentiful. Definitely not the last time I visit this hotel 😍

16/12/2023: The best products from her menu card are always served and you always get a chat about all things local - with her closing, the last of the local historical cultural heritage disappears !!!!

21/09/2024: Hadn't booked a table so it was fully booked. Was directed to the courtyard. On closer inspection, it was an unsightly experience, rude and with full trash cans that the servants walked past despite being asked to empty them.

02/11/2024: Visited city pizza & grill in Kerteminde today. Super nice and polite employee who took care of my order and the same person who delivered to the table, the food was super perfect and nice and warm. And the service was nothing to complain about either. That pizzeria deserves a return visit

01/11/2024: D. 30.10.24. visiting at 19.30 for my friend and I. Cozy restaurant, if you ignore the dusty and broken ceiling lamps. We ordered pizzas for both of us which were really good. good taste and very original. At At 21.15 the staff started vacuuming in the adjacent room, which belonged to the restaurant, which was rather disturbing. At the same time, also strange, and bad style, when the restaurant closed at 22. When it was approx. At 21.30 we were asked to move into the room that had just been vacuumed, because the staff had to vacuum the restaurant itself. My friend, who has very poor walking, could not go in there, and therefore we asked nicely if we could stay seated a little longer. Had also just poured a glass of wine, which of course had to be finished. As it was 9.40pm the staff had to ask us to move completely so they could vacuum. Very bad experience and bad customer service. Vacuuming and cleaning usually takes place after closing time. ps: there was an aquarium with goldfish in it, which was very nice, but on closer inspection, a much too large fish had just been placed in the too small aquarium. It looked like a carp type. It is animal cruelty. not a place we will return to. All in all a miserable experience.

26/07/2023: Very cozy, even if there was pressure. The staff asked if they could take our plates, instead of just doing it without considering if people were still eating. It is much appreciated. We were all done, so it was all right. The only downside is the prices. A quick service and nice that there is no noise in the room despite many people. A lovely evening.

04/09/2024: We cycled there from GronneHave Strand Camping, it was raining heavily when we arrived. So we went to the Varmestuen. We were served friendly and promptly and assigned to a table with a smile. We ate and drank there and enjoyed the ambience. Nowhere can you get even closer to the locals. We recommend it to anyone who accepts smokers and can have some patience, then it will be a good time, which we definitely had. Finally: The house wine there is called Jägermeister!!!

27/08/2024: Today we got there around 5pm and sat at table 4. At the same time, shortly after or before, 3 tables were also occupied: 4 older women and 1 gentleman, a German couple with a son, a couple with a large black dog. Everyone was served: drinks were also delivered, menu cards were distributed and collected after the requests were taken, but not passed on to us. We, on the other hand, were completely ignored. Even when the employee tapping beer wanted to put one on the table for us, which we said no (we hadn't been able to order anything), neither he nor the woman serving us made any attempt to speak to us about our wishes, etc. With this complete ignorance and unfriendliness we got up and left. We're both in our mid to late 50s, but we've rarely had to experience something like this in all these years. It's really frightening. And it makes you pretty angry.

06/08/2024: The food was fantastic, probably the best pizza I've ever had, but being told that it takes 20 minutes and then 45 minutes is beyond all criticism, so say you have a waiting time instead of lying and it was everyone who got of know it only took 20 min.

21/10/2024: Incredibly cozy atmosphere that more people should visit. The recommendation applies to the cozy meeting over a small glass, or a dinner between two or more.

05/10/2024: It was super good food and a good quiet atmosphere in the cafe. Ate 2 dishes for lunch and it tasted so good. The management and service was one of the best I have experienced. Highly recommend!
