De bedste restauranter i Kerteminde

10/07/2026: Waited 10 minutes to pay for the food at the counter. Was ignored by staff and people were shut out “in front”. Last time I set foot there with my family. Have been there many times, but having to wait to pay is a joke. It wasn’t any busier either

05/07/2026: This is a line in the direction of what we have previously experienced at Carlos. I went in and had a look and 5 years ago I had given the restaurant 5 stars, but I can promise that it could not live up to today. We arrive in the afternoon and the restaurant was almost empty. We are kindly received by the service staff and shown into the almost empty restaurant and handed a menu that was so large that we could not read it before they came and asked for our order. When we were ready to order 5 minutes later it was kebab mix and natchos with chicken - nothing that should be difficult... but just wait and see. We received the food and immediately we could see that the portions were lagging in size compared to what could be expected for the price - but if that was all it was then it was not so bad - but it gets worse. The fries were crispy, but were not hot as one would expect from fresh fries straight from the wishing well. And the nachos were with cheese and chicken, the chicken had to be looked for in all the cheese, and we didn't find much seasoning or flavor, and the whole thing could best be described as lukewarm. All in all, we had been looking forward to a visit to our favorite grill bar on Funen, which we had taken a detour to visit, but we have to say that we will probably have to find a new favorite restaurant for Carlos, it is no longer there - and that hurts me because it was a really good restaurant before. (This is an expression of my and my fellow diners' experience on the day)

18/08/2025: A real artisan baker. Especially good at bread, their rye bread is worth driving for. WONDERFUL that they are open all 7 days a week. Have tasted their Hüttemeier pretzel, just like grandma's home-baked pretzel.

21/07/2026: Expensive and bad. They charged us 4 euros for a glass of water that I suspected was tap water because I didn't see any bottled water. Two hamburgers, a club sandwich, an Aperol Spritz, and two glasses of water: 95 euros. Outrageous.

15/07/2026: It's just a harbor shack with little ambiance - but incredibly delicious fish in good portions at reasonable prices.

04/07/2026: Perfect summer dining spot, come every year. Good fish that has been heavily smoked.

26/06/2026: Wanted to buy 5 beers when we arrived. The place closes at 7:00 PM and we arrived at 6:30 PM. That was the last serving we were told. So we weren't allowed to buy anything to drink. So better find another place.

21/06/2026: A real local sort of living room with pub status. As soon as someone walks in, you immediately get the feeling that you're sitting in someone's regular spot ;-) Almost everyone is sitting with a bottle of beer *and* a cigarette!! It turns out you are officially allowed to smoke there. Inside, too. And it is done a lot. So, very 'old-fashioned stifling'. By the way, the fact that smoking is allowed is clearly indicated outside, but I missed those black signs. My mistake :-) I had a large draft beer and a tonic: that cost almost 13 euros... so veeeery pricey! We didn't eat there. I didn't exactly get the impression that it was a restaurant either.

17/07/2026: The food at the place is excellent, but the service level is somewhat lacking on this day in July 2026. However, it is even more annoying that the live music, consisting of hippies playing jazz, is played so loudly that you can't hear yourself think.

12/07/2026: A beautiful gem in the middle of beautiful Kerteminde. I highly recommend this place. There is delicious food and drinks at good prices. You can sit inside and outside.

20/06/2026: Terrible service. Wanted to go in and get a table and had to wait for 10 minutes before a lady came out and seemed completely unaffected by my presence. I asked a few questions, which she was clearly irritated to have to answer. I was directed to a table outside, and was almost shouted at when I came to sit at one of the reserved tables. But none of the others had cutlery or a menu. I was then asked to go out and get it myself, after which she told me that if I had any more questions I could read the first page. I got up and left. It's crazy that you can get such terrible service when you are the only guest.
