05/04/2025: We had their burger. Hmm, if you're into pastries with cold cuts, it's fine. There was a lot of bread and probably the thinnest "steak" I've ever had. The waiter was nice enough until we commented on the lack of meat and the excessive amount of bread in the burger. After that, we were left to our own devices and had to walk quite a distance to get hold of someone who could arrange payment. Cozy surroundings, bright and delicious restaurant. The area around is just fantastic. It's definitely worth a visit...however..if you're into more than cold cuts and thin "steaks" then choose something other than the burger.

27/05/2025: The sign says it's open until 7 p.m. We were sent out of the store at 6 p.m. because the staff had apparently already finished cleaning to get off work on time and didn't place any particular value on customers. It's a shame when customers are treated like that.

15/05/2025: The Emperor's New Clothes I'm not usually the type to write reviews, but this one deserves one The one star is for a well-poured Italian draft beer My wife got a quarter glass of Aperol Spritz for 125 kr. It's something she really likes, so we know that a full glass at the best location in Copenhagen, Aarhus or Odense costs 110 kr. The prices weren't on the menu and we didn't ask, when yesterday at Café Mauritz also in Middelfart we got a full glass for 75 kr. 2 pizzas for 135 kr. each. Mine was called Ruccola and tasted of nothing at all, I've never had to put salt and pepper on a Pizza, I had to do that here in large quantities. My wife's one with Italian medister sausage, or 5 small lumps, the rest were boiled potatoes. We have eaten many pizzas in our lives with great pleasure and love going to good Italian restaurants at home and abroad, but this was the Emperor's new clothes. The waiter asked if everything was as it should be, to which I answered honestly like here, to which he asked my wife if I had a beard, she could confirm that I did not, after which he dryly stated: "Then it's good, there is salt and pepper " We have taken the pizzas home for our dog, but I don't know if she should have them, she hasn't done anything Regards Jan Nielsen You are welcome to refund at least what we have overpaid on MobilePay. : 22620303

07/05/2025: Really good food, and service as usual, my wine tasted a bit tame, which I mentioned and immediately got a new glass, from a fresh bottle, without blinking an eye. If you're being critical, you should put some soundproofing in the ceiling :) As there is often quite a high noise level.

18/05/2025: Fantastic food and the most welcoming and smiling staff – these are just some of the words I would use about our visit. There were two of us out for dinner and we had the most delicious food, served with great care. The menu is incredibly exciting and offers a wide selection of dishes from Asian cuisine – something for everyone! No matter what we ordered, it tasted absolutely fantastic. You can really feel that the highest quality ingredients are used and that the restaurant places great importance on giving their guests the best possible experience. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful evening – we will definitely be back!

25/05/2025: Jataco in Middelfart is really worth a visit if you are into Mexican-inspired street food with lots of flavor and soul. We started with nachos with cheese – a perfect crunchy and creamy starter – and then moved on to four small tacos with different fillings: pork, beef, shrimp and a vegetarian variant. All had their own character and flavor profile, and it was all really tasty. We also got a small quesadilla, and with it all we drank two original Jarritos – Mexican sodas, which gave an extra authentic touch. Beer/wine to go with it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed and cozy, with an unpretentious atmosphere, which suits the informal and colorful Mexican cuisine well. The price is fair in relation to the quality and experience – you get good food for your money. If there is one point of improvement to be mentioned, it is in the service. The young girls who served were sweet and friendly, but not particularly attentive, service-minded or experienced. It didn't seem like they had received any thorough training in hosting or dealing with customers. Two wrong orders along the way slowed things down a bit, and it generally took too long to get contact or help. If it were my restaurant, I would have a chat with the staff about basic expectations for service and guest contact. That would significantly improve the overall experience. That said: The food was so good, and the atmosphere so nice, that we will come back without hesitation. A restaurant with lots of potential – and already a fantastic place if you come primarily for the real taste of Mexico.
