30/12/2025: Christmas break 23.-26.12. 2025 EVERYTHING was perfect We had high expectations and they were fully met, and more. Fantastic place, fantastic staff and superb hospitality, and a nature that says save 2. We would like to come again❤️

28/10/2025: Nice fish shop, with good products. Reasonable price level. Certain meat products are also available in the shop, minced meat, roast beef, rib roast and the like. Possibility of outdoor dining in the summer months.

07/12/2025: Cozy old restaurant located in the city's pedestrian street. Good, well-cooked food and friendly service. Dec. 2025 Christmas lunch with work, delicious traditional homemade Christmas food.

28/10/2025: Classic Danish food. Tried to make with love. My shrimp cocktail was super delicious. My husband's chicken salad was tasty but very small compared to. Got winerschnitzel which was fried TOTALLY dead and more black than brown. A measly anchovy on a teaspoon of horseradish and a thin slice of lemon.. dry and chewy. Got NO offer of coffee or dessert.. After a few tries we caught a waiter, and well yes she could make coffee... Uhhhh.. But beautiful old house.. needs some cleaning and washing of windows/curtains and some fresh air..

23/11/2025: Atmosphere, atmosphere not found in many other pubs/restaurants. Guldkronen has a fantastic staff. A place to be experienced and enjoyed.

18/11/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We went to the pork of choice at Båring Skov gl. Badehotel – and what an experience! 🌳✨ The staff were so nice that you almost wanted to adopt them 😄. The service was top notch, and the food… yes, it was so delicious that I'm still full for days afterwards 🐷🍴. If you can vote for pork, then Badehotellet gets my vote every time! 🗳️🥓 Thank you for an evening of both coziness, smiles and taste buds in ecstasy 🤩👏.

28/08/2025: The food was ok. However, we had been delivered the wrong pizza, which I had to contact them about. The person I get hold of when I call, however, cannot see the problem and asks what I would like to happen, where I say we would like to get the pizza we had ordered. His answer was, "well, you have got a pizza", and then offered me a discount code that I could use on my next purchase. I had to argue with him that we would like to have the pizza I had ordered. He got angry and said they would come and pick up the pizza we had got, which they did, and then give us a new one. Then another 30 minutes went by on top of the hour we had already waited, and when the pizza arrived it was only lukewarm. They probably make nice pizzas if you pick it up from there yourself, but their service is non-existent, and the staff I got hold of should know how to solve a problem with the wrong delivery, and accept they have made a mistake.

30/10/2025: We were surprised. We did not expect the pizzeria around the corner from our house would have better pizzas than the pizzas we ate in Italy. Absolutely delicious. Recommend 100%. Also amazing Kebabs.

22/08/2025: Each time I am going to Middelfart, I am going to Saeb Siam restaurant. They are so nice and the food are so delicious! I recommend each people to go there for take away or eat in.

22/10/2025: I was there for a conference, the breakfast table was modest but there was enough food. Lunch was very messy (hard to find a connection in the buffet), it was good salads. The cake table was also very modest. The conference room itself was only just enough for the gathering we were.

21/08/2025: I have previously visited Fænøsund for evening events and have always had good experiences – both with the food and the professional service. Therefore, I had a clear expectation that the lunch would live up to the same level. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We had booked a table, and when we arrived, we asked ourselves if we could sit outside because the weather was nice. Fortunately, we could, and we found a seat. Shortly after, a young employee came with the menus, but after that not much happened. After waiting for over 25 minutes, I went up to the restaurant myself to order, otherwise it would have taken even longer. The drinks came after about 10 minutes, which was acceptable, but the process was far too slow when there are just two people with a simple order. The food – open sandwiches – tasted fine, and the quality is absolutely fine. But the portions were WAY too small for the price. Or rather: the bread was big enough, and there were plenty of garnishes, but almost no real filling. The veal tartare was minimal and almost lost under the garnish, and the same was true for the herring and salmon. At 110 kr. a piece, you expect a decent piece of smørrebrød with substance – here it felt like you were paying for a lot of garnish on a large piece of bread. After the meal, it took an unreasonably long time before we could order coffee. Finally, we gave up and went up to pay ourselves. Here the young employee in the kitchen stood and ate. She just handed over the card machine without a word, without asking about the experience or giving the impression of professional service. All in all, we ended up spending almost two hours getting two pieces of smørrebrød and a cup of coffee – and that in a restaurant that is otherwise known for a higher standard. Fænøsund has a fantastic location, and I still want to come back for an evening event where both the food and service have been really good. But the lunch experience was so poor that I don’t want to repeat it. If the lunch concept is to work, you should either raise the level significantly or adjust the price to match the restaurant's otherwise good reputation.

19/07/2025: Really delicious restaurant with a wildly beautiful view. The food comes quickly or as needed (if you want this) so the service is top notch. They explain what you are eating and the food is very particular. I got a 4 course meal to taste as much as possible, but I am surprised that this year there was veal on the menu and not just fish. Otherwise I remember the restaurant as a purely fish restaurant. If there are many guests, the noise can unfortunately be a bit loud and seem a bit overwhelming to some. A nice little detail is that you can thank the chef (if you want) for well-prepared gourmet food, as he himself comes down to the table..
