31/03/2026: Fantastic experience Essam gave us such great service! He was incredibly welcoming and nice!. It's been a long time (if ever) that a staff member has been so sweet and focused on our experience of what we ordered. 10/10! The food tasted great and delivered just as well as the people who made it. From here a huge recommendation for the place - and for the durum falafel with fries! Their bread is fluffy and freshly made - just like their vegetables. Thank you from the Easter holiday guests in Svenborg!

28/03/2026: It was the first time in my life that I tasted a burger like this, it was really, really delicious. The food was very fresh and clean, and the owner of the restaurant was incredibly kind in his way of treating the guests. I'm just sharing my experience, but I would definitely recommend everyone to try eating here. I really think that once you try it, you will keep coming back🥰🥰

08/08/2025: A really nice restaurant with the option to eat both outside and inside. We chose their fish menu with 4 courses and accompanying wine menu. Everything was really tasty and beautifully presented. We paid 1035 kr per person and it was worth every penny.

28/08/2025: When I entered the bakery, I felt like time had stood still, in a very positive sense. It was beautifully decorated, and the baked goods were deliciously presented. The aroma from the nearby bakery… that makes all the difference! The saleswoman was very friendly. A friendly, natural smile was a complimentary bonus. The coffee was ready in the motorhome. Perfect!

16/07/2025: The bread is first class and the service is really service-minded. The prices are a bit on the high end, but you get what you pay for.

21/11/2025: Really good sandwiches, tasty and fluffy. I think Kr 160 for 2 sandwiches and a cola is quite reasonable. We ordered a chicken salad with bacon and a Serano ham with pesto. Busy and well-visited little bistro right off Nyborgvej. Parking is available right outside the door and otherwise there is a Rema just opposite (remember to pay) The only thing I missed during my visit to Frokostbixen was a hello and a smile from the clerk, other than that it was a very nice experience.

The entire venue is breathtakingly beautiful – exclusive in a quiet, understated way – and at the same time imbued with a sense of homeliness and relaxation. A combination that made us immediately feel in safe hands and could see ourselves celebrating our big day right there. One of the biggest reasons for this security was the restaurant manager, Charlotte, who from the first meeting was nothing short of fantastic. She was ready with solutions to everything – and if, contrary to all expectations, she hadn’t answered right away, it wasn’t long before she found one. Her commitment, proactivity and dedication were both touching and reassuring. We never felt like we were just another wedding in a row; Charlotte approached the task with the same zeal, excitement and warmth as ourselves. It made all the difference. And then there was the food, which was absolutely amazing. We knew in advance that the level was high, but we were still blown away once again. The gastronomic level is absolutely top class. We had chosen to give the kitchen almost free rein, with just a few ingredients and preferences mentioned – and they managed to incorporate them in the most elegant and tasty way. The entire team around Stella Maris also deserves great praise. From the chefs, the waiters and to the sweet women at the reception to – yes, even the director who stood behind the bar and shook drinks after the wedding waltz. Everyone was welcoming, professional and full of genuine joy on our behalf. You can feel their pride and professionalism in everything they do. And the warmth and attention they showed both before, during and after the wedding made our day even more memorable. We can only give our warmest recommendation to anyone considering holding their next big party at Stella Maris. It was a party that exceeded our own dreams and expectations – and that both our guests and ourselves still like to remember and talk about happily.🤍

03/08/2025: Stella Maris is a fantastic experience from start to finish – with lovely facilities right down to the water and a view that will almost take your breath away. The restaurant serves top-class food, where both taste and detail are spot on. And the staff is so service-minded that you feel like something special all the way through. An experience you will remember – and want to repeat.

13/10/2025: Best ice cream on Funen. Double scoops and really good soft ice cream. Both ice cream and soft ice cream are homemade, and there are always many varieties. Try the mixed soft ice cream, it's vanilla and chocolate 😋🤩

26/02/2026: We had booked a table in advance, and shortly after we arrive we are ordered our menu which is steak tornado, it takes 45 minutes before the drinks come, after 65 minutes we ask if our food will appear soon? It comes 5 minutes later, unfortunately the steaks are not freshly fried, are dry on top and have definitely spent a long time in the refrigerator. We could see that they were busy with a few important matters and had no time for us at all. The service was quite unprofessional and the food not worth the money.

07/02/2026: I have been to the restaurant quite a few times, but this time it didn't exactly end up being a good experience. When I'm at restaurant Svendborgsund, I usually order a round of plaice fillet with some fries. Because it's something I know tastes good and it's actually a decent portion of food, but the only thing is that the dish itself is under their children's menus, which I personally think is pretty irrelevant as long as the food tastes good. When we were about to order, when I mentioned what I would like, plaice with fries. Then the employee said something to the effect of whether I'm not a little old to order from a children's menu. Which I think is completely disrespectful to say to a customer, and believe me, I work with customer service on a daily basis. So all in all, the food actually tastes really good. BUT the staff should really think twice when handling a customer's order, and this experience has genuinely reduced my desire to eat there again.
