02/07/2026: Second visit after almlst a year. Very slow service, and items forgotten. Great steaks. A massive hassle if you want to split the bill, took 30 minutes to sort out for some reason.

01/07/2026: The food is amazing. I had a mix of meat and it was wonderful. The staff is nice but could stop by a bit more often. That said, highly recommended!

04/05/2026: I had a wonderful experience at Louisekroen. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. The food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish showed attention to detail and a real passion for quality ingredients. The menu offers a great variety, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The service was excellent as well. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. Overall, a fantastic dining experience in a lovely setting. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area definitely a 5-star experience!

02/05/2026: The best steak you can get on Bornholm, maybe in all of Denmark. Quality all the way from raw materials to finished dishes. Fantastic house wine, which doesn't get much better. Try it and enjoy it.

04/07/2026: Best meal in Copenhagen. The burger and lobster pasta are incredible. Some of the best I’ve had worldwide.

28/06/2026: I have been a regular customer of Sokkelund and have visited many times with my child. This is the first time I have ever been treated this way. During our brunch, my baby became upset and cried briefly. Before we even had a chance to comfort our child, a staff member came over and told us to take the baby outside and only return once the baby had calmed down. What made this experience unacceptable was the obvious double standard. Throughout our meal, several tables of adults were laughing and talking loudly, creating far more noise than my baby did during those few moments. Yet not a single staff member spoke to them. The only table approached was ours. I completely understand the need to maintain a pleasant dining environment. But if noise is the issue, the same standard should apply to everyone—not only to families with young children. Sokkelund presents itself as a high-end brasserie with exceptional hospitality. Unfortunately, the cold, dismissive way this situation was handled was completely inconsistent with that image. True hospitality is measured by how you treat guests in difficult moments, not only when everything is perfect. After supporting this restaurant regularly, we left feeling embarrassed, singled out, and unwelcome

04/07/2026: Edit 02/07/2026 Went there again and had rib-eye. Easily the best steak I've had in my 62 years. The tenderloin on the piece was so tasty that you just kept the meat in your mouth, without chewing it. My wife had the same experience. My son had spareribs and he was a little less nuanced. It was just super good. The butter-fried potatoes and the baked potato were at the "normal" ok level. Nothing memorable compared to the steak. Our hostess was sweet and quick. All in all a good evening.

29/12/2025: We had Sunday Roast with 3 servings of meat which was of very warming quality. Oh my! The side dishes were absolutely fine. Our waiter was incredibly unengaged, spoke so softly that she was a shadow of herself and almost impossible to get in touch with. After previous visits we had really looked forward to Sunday Roast with meat ad libitum, but oh my they couldn't live up to that.

21/12/2025: Food was a bit overrated, meat was ok but you can taste almost the same anywhere. Our meal was forgotten by the kitchen so we had to wait for almost 55 minutes for dinner after the starters. Nothing special about the atmosphere and the dinner.

20/05/2026: The food and service were really good.

09/05/2026: Their cappacio is probably the best I've ever tasted. Thick, tender slices of meat and delicious lumps of parmesan cheese. Burgers and fries are also really good and we had a lovely Riesling wine. The young waiters are incredibly sweet and smiling. But remember to book a table, it was completely full on a Tuesday evening at 7 pm.

23/04/2026: Disappointed. Got a ripeeye which was tough, fried potatoes which were more like boiled potatoes. Got a seat where I had to move so a waiter couldn't come in through a door. Didn't think it was ok for the price. Gave them a 2nd chance where I ordered ribs. Disappointed again, they are tough and the skin wasn't removed from the back. Had to use a knife to cut the meat free, which only happens if they are cooked incorrectly.

21/04/2026: The food portion is super big, which is good of course,but it came as surprise to us all 😁😁
