08/06/2025: If you like big, tender and well-cooked steaks, Louisekroen is the place to visit on Bornholm. The atmosphere is cozy and the menu is simple but really good. There are also chicken and vegetarian alternatives to steak - but it is the good steaks that the place is known for. Steaks are available in moped sizes and if you are extra fond of meat, special sizes can be cut on site. Definitely recommended.
23/05/2025: Excellent dining experience! The steaks are some of the best I've ever eaten and the side dishes were also delicious. It's very classic food and the place is in a cozy, classic interior. The service was nice and fast and although the prices are on the high end, it's worth the money.

28/07/2025: The service is extremely slow. The meat is good, but it arrives at the table cold because it takes so long to be served, and it is very salty. Even though the restaurant is not full, the service takes more than 60 minutes. The appetisers arrive after the main course, and you can eat the potatoes and salad once you have finished the meat. Go somewhere else; it's not worth paying money to be treated badly.
28/07/2025: The atmosphere is nice, but the service quality is very poor and the restaurant kitchen is not up to par. The food is cold and salty, the wait staff is inadequate, rude, and inappropriate. It is definitely not worth the money. There are many better places here, so don't waste your time. We were fooled by the reviews and went there, but I guess the people who wrote them didn't get good meat.

05/07/2025: Had the shooting star yesterday afternoon. The roasted capers and tomatoes were very nice. The "steamed" fish was gray and dry. The breaded one lacked salt, was very coarse in the meat, so I doubt it was plaice. The salad was completely squished between the warm bread and the warm fish. It was a "shit". You can do much better!

Cozy restaurant with a relaxed and rustic atmosphere – especially their courtyard and the red leather booths give a good atmosphere. We had spareribs and a juicy steak – both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The salad bar was fresh and well-stocked, and it was a hit with the kids with free soft ice cream.
The service was friendly and accommodating, but we experienced a bit of a wait as it was busy. However, this was offset by the good food and the atmosphere.
Definitely recommended, especially if you like barbecue and large portions! We will definitely come back.

29/06/2025: Food was excellent,we tried different dishes and each dish was very good. Service was a little bit slow to be honest and almost couldn’t eat dessert because they were closing the restaurant.

Steaks are cooked as desired, delicious taste and tender. Fish also cooked perfectly. All 3 times I have been there have been fully satisfied.
My elderly parents often come up to me to get your good food.
Friendly and polite staff.
Definitely a visit if you haven't been there👍🏻

06/07/2025: We ate at this restaurant twice. The food was good quality, the staff friendly, and the place was pleasant. We had two great evenings. The price/quality ratio was reasonable considering the prices in Denmark.

22/06/2025: Nice location and view of the castle. Unfortunately the food generally didn't taste like anything - was generally very underseasoned. The steak was cooked through even though I ordered medium rare, the shooting star was dry - probably had more breading than fish. The bread underneath could use butter. The soda we got had no fizz. But nice and friendly service.

23/07/2025: Cute place and very nice and friendly people :) I can't believe how much I liked the vegan option "Crissy Vegan". Might be the best non-meat burger I've ever tried. Otherwise, the smash burger is a big hit in my household!
