22/11/2024: Best cod in beer batter & chips in Denmark so far.

05/11/2024: The burgers at this restaurant are very delicious and well made. They are big without being gigantic. I tried the Governor and I really liked it. You can accompany them with potatoes, onion rings, etc. The place, pleasant and functional. Prices, at the Copenhagen level, which is high if you come from the euro.

01/12/2024: Fantastic food. Black-footed pig as a snack was fantastic. The French onion soup is the best I've ever had. The steak for the main course was excellent. Overall a great experience.

24/11/2024: Food is decent. The attitude of one of the waiter is awful. I double check with them why we had three fries served. They lied in front of us without hesitation and said “oh I heard three fries” I wonder how would a customer say my side dishes would be three fries🙄 you should really check out your attitude or your hearing. The steaks we ordered were completely mixed up. I won’t recommend this place.

08/12/2024: Wir waren mit unseren beiden Enkelkindern dort und haben leider das 1. Mal in Dänemark eine negative Erfahrung gemacht. Wir haben eine Bestellung aufgegeben, 2 Mal Essen und Getränke für uns, ein Getränk für die Kinder. Üblicherweise ist es in Dänemark kein Problem, dass die Kinder ein mitgebrachtes Brot essen, aber diesmal war es wirklich eines. In diesem Lokal ist dies nicht möglich. Unsere Enkelkinder sind Veganer und hatten schon großen Hunger, sonst hätten wir dieses Lokal auch verlassen. Also leider nicht kinderfreundlich.

11/11/2024: Acabábamos de registrarnos en nuestro hotel de Copenhague (el Ascot), tenemos mucha hambre, y vagabundeamos hasta donde parecían estar las multitudes. Ansiaba una hamburguesa. Hereford estaba abierto y tan contento de que elegimos. Camarera amable y atenta. La comida resultó ser impresionante - la hamburguesa mexicana picante se amontonó alto y realmente necesitaba cuchillo y tenedor. ¡Tenía nachos de verdad! Mi marido pidió las 12 costillas de cerdo que resultaron ser enormes y terminó trayendo algunas a casa (el plato de 8 costillas será más que suficiente, confía en mí). Después, la camarera nos mostró en Google Maps lugares que deberíamos revisar. Caro, y probablemente no necesitábamos las cervezas. Pero vale cada centavo.

01/12/2024: We were 4 people who had a somewhat mixed experience. Quick instructions to the table and efficient service when ordering drinks and the waiter was quickly ready with our drinks. After that, things go downhill, we are forgotten. It takes 40+ minutes before one of us gets in touch with one of the waiters who gets things started. Another 30 minutes pass before we get our starter. After the starter, we had the main course, which showed that the kitchen was under pressure. We got a steak that should be fried red and the rest should be medium red. The one that was roasted red was lukewarm to cold, as if it had been on the table waiting for the rest of the steaks to be ready. It's not what you expect from a steakhouse, and certainly not Hereford. We can't complain about the cold steak as we had been there for 2 hours when we get our main course and couldn't wait any longer for them to fix it. The waiter we got in touch with tried to make up for the fact that we had been forgotten by subsequently coming several times to check on us. The acoustics were so bad that you could hardly hear the person opposite and several waiters had forgotten to smile.

01/12/2024: Group meal, so not much choice, but everything was very good and well done. The service was a little long, perhaps because we were a group and we were less taken care of? Not very serious. We were in the basement, quiet, but not very isolated from the rest of the restaurant. The servers were rather young, not too experienced (except 1) but did their job quite well. (Forgetting to pick up a cup or something anyway ..)

21/11/2024: Maravillosa experiencia - verdaderamente único en su tipo. El interior del restaurante es único y casi mágico y la comida. . . FANTASTIC. Desde entrantes, pasando por un vino excepcional, plato principal hasta lo mejor de todo - postre. Su pastel de lima clave es el mejor que he probado. Suave, rico en sabor - simplemente perfecto! Dirigido por las personas más amables que se aseguran de que cada huésped tenga la mejor experiencia posible y se sienta extraordinario. ¡Ojalá más gente supiera de este lugar mágico!

21/11/2024: Wonderful experience - truly one of a kind. The interior of the restaurant is unique and almost magical and the food... FANTASTIC. From starters, through exceptional wine, main dish to the best of all - dessert. Their key lime pie is the best I have ever had. Smooth, rich in flavor - just perfect! Led by the kindest people who make sure that every guest has the best possible experience and feels extra ordinary. I wish more people knew about this magical place!

15/11/2024: Small cozy restaurant. The owner is a nice cousin. Price friendly place in the middle of Copenhagen. Can be tried.

02/11/2024: Welcoming and hospitable service and delicious food. Get the Savana Special and you won’t be disappointed—comes with warm bread and tomato soup, fried prawns, fries and a perfectly cooked tenderloin with 3 sauces to choose from. I will most definitely be back.

17/08/2024: Fab place to sit and watch boats and people go by. Great vibe. But that said…. 40 kr for a soft drink is insane - and the variety of food on offer is not that great and its as expensive as Reffen.

10/08/2024: Il posto è una normalissima piazzetta con dei food truck, carino ma non tipico. Di danese c’è solo uno stand, tutto il resto è cucina greca, messicana, inglese, etc. Noi abbiamo preso il fish and chips dallo stand Haddock’s e l’abbiamo lasciato lì: fritto nell’olio del motore, “fish” non identificabile e calamari che erano gomma dentro e fuori così secchi da sbriciolarsi in mano. Veramente pessimo. Costato circa €20, per €5-10 in più c’erano tanti posti lungo il Nyhavn sicuramente più tipici e più buoni.

10/05/2024: the food was very good & tasty and the service was great. the location is really nice. i would go there again.

16/12/2024: A joke of a meal! The steak was perfectly cooked, and about 5 mm. tall, it looked like it had been hit with a rolling pin. The sauce was a peppercorn sticky sauce. The salad was roughly cut out and bathed in Thousand Ireland dressing. The most pathetic meal I've ever paid for, ugh.

25/10/2024: Spotted this place whilst walking past and thought I’d see if they could fit my wife and I in. Got a table for two and had a fantastic gourmet burger. Great ambiance, lovely staff and prices were very reasonable by Copenhagen standards

21/10/2024: Came here for Happy Hour for cocktails and they were great, our server was kind and let us mix and match which was nice as it wasn't super busy. We had a few snacks but weren't hungry enough for a burger which was a shame. Great selection for cocktails
