04/12/2024: The food was okay nothing, the portions however were small and one portion of burger and fries is not enough for a grown up person. The ambience was decent and if you are going with friends while not feeling very hungry you might enjoy it better.

08/12/2024: Wir waren mit unseren beiden Enkelkindern dort und haben leider das 1. Mal in Dänemark eine negative Erfahrung gemacht. Wir haben eine Bestellung aufgegeben, 2 Mal Essen und Getränke für uns, ein Getränk für die Kinder. Üblicherweise ist es in Dänemark kein Problem, dass die Kinder ein mitgebrachtes Brot essen, aber diesmal war es wirklich eines. In diesem Lokal ist dies nicht möglich. Unsere Enkelkinder sind Veganer und hatten schon großen Hunger, sonst hätten wir dieses Lokal auch verlassen. Also leider nicht kinderfreundlich.

11/11/2024: Acabábamos de registrarnos en nuestro hotel de Copenhague (el Ascot), tenemos mucha hambre, y vagabundeamos hasta donde parecían estar las multitudes. Ansiaba una hamburguesa. Hereford estaba abierto y tan contento de que elegimos. Camarera amable y atenta. La comida resultó ser impresionante - la hamburguesa mexicana picante se amontonó alto y realmente necesitaba cuchillo y tenedor. ¡Tenía nachos de verdad! Mi marido pidió las 12 costillas de cerdo que resultaron ser enormes y terminó trayendo algunas a casa (el plato de 8 costillas será más que suficiente, confía en mí). Después, la camarera nos mostró en Google Maps lugares que deberíamos revisar. Caro, y probablemente no necesitábamos las cervezas. Pero vale cada centavo.

23/11/2024: Ice skating rink near Nyhavn, Copenhagen. Skates and seals (kid supports) available to hire onsite. We visited twice - mid-week definitely (and obviously) quieter than weekend times. The rink is surrounded by food and drink “pop-ups”, from burgers to bourguignon, so a great spot to stop for a skate and drink or quick bite to eat under the patio heaters.

21/10/2024: Broens Street Food est un excellente food court à Copenhague pour les amateurs de street food - comme son nom l’indique ! Situé au bord de l'eau, l'emplacement est parfait pour profiter d'un moment en plein air dans une ambiance animée et décontractée. Belle variété de stands, chacun proposant des plats de différentes cuisines du monde, allant de l'asiatique aux burgers gourmands en passant par des options végétariennes. Les prix sont un peu élevés (c’est le Danemark), mais la qualité des plats et l'expérience en valent la peine. C’est un endroit parfait pour se détendre entre amis ou en famille, surtout quand le soleil est de la partie. Une chouette alternative (dans un quartier en pleine mutation) pour un déjeuner rapide ou un apéro/dîner à Copenhague dans une ambiance très chill et relax comme savent si bien y faire les Danois !

02/11/2024: Welcoming and hospitable service and delicious food. Get the Savana Special and you won’t be disappointed—comes with warm bread and tomato soup, fried prawns, fries and a perfectly cooked tenderloin with 3 sauces to choose from. I will most definitely be back.

08/12/2024: Pleasant atmosphere and attentive and service-minded staff. Ordered a steak with bernaise and one with pepper sauce. Unfortunately, both sauces did not measure up. Seemed not cooked from scratch but more watery like ready made powder sauces. The meat, on the other hand, was good and well cooked, but rather skimpy on the fries.

21/11/2024: Maravillosa experiencia - verdaderamente único en su tipo. El interior del restaurante es único y casi mágico y la comida. . . FANTASTIC. Desde entrantes, pasando por un vino excepcional, plato principal hasta lo mejor de todo - postre. Su pastel de lima clave es el mejor que he probado. Suave, rico en sabor - simplemente perfecto! Dirigido por las personas más amables que se aseguran de que cada huésped tenga la mejor experiencia posible y se sienta extraordinario. ¡Ojalá más gente supiera de este lugar mágico!

05/01/2025: A Hereford Beefstouw , Copenhagen After a long day exploring Copenhagen on our last night, we decided to treat ourselves to a meal at A Hereford Beefstouw, a steakhouse located by Tivoli Market. Arriving around 5 pm, we were starving and ready for what we thought would be a high-end dining experience. The ambiance didn’t quite scream “luxury,” with no noticeable dress code, and the service felt rushed. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed, and we were warned it might take 10–15 minutes just to order drinks. We settled on the house red wine (315 kr / £35), as the rest of the wine list started at £70+. The wine was fine but nothing special. Starters: • I had the beef tartar (95 kr / £10.50), a delicious blend of flavors with egg yolk, tarragon mayo, beetroot, and cress. Highly recommend this dish! • My dad chose the lobster bisque (125 kr / £14), served with scallop, pickled apples, and fried capers. He also enjoyed it. Mains: We all opted for steak, the highlight of the meal. • The sirloin steak (250g) (225 kr / £25) was cooked perfectly across the board. • My dad’s ribeye (275g) (295 kr / £32), while tasty and well-cooked, was disappointingly small for the price. Sides & Sauces: Sides are ordered separately, and this is where things went downhill. • My potatoes with chestnuts (45 kr / £5) arrived cold, while the fries my parents and Tim ordered were warm and crispy. • The roast carrots with rosemary and yogurt (45 kr / £5) were flavorful but freezing cold, as if they’d been sitting out too long. • The extra sauce - garlic butter (25 kr / £2.75), which was divine. Overall: While the steaks and starters were excellent, the service was slow, the sides were a letdown, and the prices felt unjustified for the overall experience. We couldn’t help but think about how much better value we could get at restaurants back home in the UK. That said, Copenhagen is known for being an expensive city, and this restaurant certainly reflects that. If you’re craving steak in the heart of the city, it’s a good option, but don’t expect perfection or exceptional value for money.

02/01/2025: The service is poor, 4-5 servers in the room for around 15 customers, but super slow, the cutlery was poorly cleaned and all greasy, we asked to change them but that bothered the server, meat good but expensive for what it is. it was, moreover you have to make the order form yourself for your dish the service is really at the minimum of the minimum, I do not recommend this restaurant, go to another!

15/01/2025: was out with a friend, good service steak in nice quality, and prepared as it should be, the reason i do not give more stars is that all is fine and well but nothing that stand out. Service polite and fine. I would come again.

13/01/2025: Hereford burger - The bun was baked so much that it should be called a two tray - the steak dull and grey. And the first time I have been charged DKK 10 for 3 cl of ketchup. Thought only mcdonalds does this. I want to repeat - not 10 wild horses could drag me back here. And the best thing is that it wasn't cheap either. Good thing we have other good ones burger restaurants.

29/12/2024: We hebben lekkere burgers gegeten met een lekker biertje. De smash burger is een aanrader. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk.

17/11/2024: Bueno, los camareros eran amables y la comida estaba bien, pero no por el precio. . . correcto que también pagas por la ubicación. En el lado positivo, la acústica es sorprendentemente buena, en comparación con el gran espacio abierto.
