I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience with you.
During my visit I was met by an employee who behaved unprofessionally and disengaged. Unfortunately, that set the tone for the rest of the evening.
I ordered a steak, which was burnt on the first serving. I kindly pointed this out and sent it back in the hope of getting it done correctly. Unfortunately it came back in the same condition – still burnt and unacceptable. It is really disappointing, especially when visiting a restaurant with the reputation and price level that you have.
I hope you take this inquiry seriously and ensure that your employees, both in the kitchen and among the serving staff, live up to the standards that guests can expect.

Located nicely in the city centre Copenhagen.
The beef options are great.

22/04/2025: The restaurant is connected to the fish shop. It lacks a little coziness, but is otherwise okay. What is written on the signs for the fish shop, you think can be enjoyed in the restaurant, and this is not the case. So there should be a separation with "only to go" on e.g. Fish tapas for 2. We got Parisian steak and a Lynæs shot. It took a while for the food, but that's okay. My "shot" was 2 large fish fillets on lovely bread. There was a lot of fish and not just breading. Nicely decorated and everything tasted really good.
22/03/2025: The seafood is fresh, and the portions are quite large—I couldn’t even finish one! I’ll definitely be returning.

18/04/2025: El restaurante en sí parece una hamburguesería de gama baja, no es nada agradable. Tenía una parrilla mixta; la carne estaba bien, es decir, pero las papas al horno no sabían a papas, sabían como se habían hervido durante horas y todavía estaba muy húmedo. El Béarnaise fue posiblemente el peor que he probado. Estaba impresionante lo malo que era. La ensalada también fue una decepción, y mi cerveza sabía a agua. El lugar es más barato que los otros asadores, y la calidad es por eso.
Las camareras eran agradables.

16/03/2025: We had booked a table for 7, but ended up being 6 people due to illness.
When we entered we were told that we had to pay for 7 people anyway because that was what was reserved for, but it was said in a completely weird and annoyed tone.
We said fine, because they promised us extra meat, but still there were 2 of us who left hungry.
The meat was not welldone as we would have liked and it did not satisfy us even though we paid for 7 people.
The service was ok.

I had the signature menu.
Everything was very tasty and the meat was well done.
Many thanks to the nice ladies in service, who speak perfect English and kept an overview despite a well-filled restaurant👌🏼
07/04/2025: The acoustics were okay, could be better, we sat in a place where everyone could walk all the way around the table, it was a bit awkward, but the food was good and the service was good, it's the first place where I've gone through the entire menu without asking.

06/03/2025: Hyggeligt indrettet restaurant i en meget stille sidegade men samtidigt meget tæt på både Nyhavn og Kongens Nytorv.
Fik en lækker svampesuppe til forret, men så kom turen til steaken...
Det var egentligt tale om velsmagende og mørt kød, men da den kun var 11-12 mm tyk og blev serveret på en kold tallerken, var den simpelt hen lunken/halvkold, da den nåede bordet.
Da jeg gjorde opmærksom på dette, var undskyldningen/forklaringen, at køkkenet stillede tallerkenen tæt på vinduet, og det kunne være derfor, at den var blevet afkølet.
Der må sandelig være tale om lynafkøling og et pivåbent vindue, for der var 11° udenfor og steaken blev serveret 4-5 minutter efter, at køkkenet havde sat den i gang efter forretten, hvorfor ikke bare indrømme fejlen og tage til efterretning, at det ikke er skidesmart at servere steaks på kolde tallerkener?
Ikke et ord om "erstatning"... Det ville godt nok have klædt restauranten at have tilbudt mig en ny (og varm) steak, jeg havde højst nappet 3-4 bidder!
Priserne er større end portionerne, så man forlader bestemt ikke stedet propmæt.
