28/03/2024: Was at El Meson with my girlfriend on 27-03-2024. We are quickly received by two friendly and smiling English-speaking waiters and we like the atmosphere... HERE ends the positive! The red wine for DKK 600 was not only warm but had to ask for an ice bucket with it. We ordered 2 menu de la casa (your tapas mene) ALL the food was totally tasteless! and the few hot dishes were obviously heated in a microwave oven! The main course was introduced as "you have ordered 2 times meat" uhh goddav what is it? it turned out to be entrecote, fair enough. Again it tasted of absolutely nothing! I stuck to my main course twice and simply did not want to eat it. When the waiter had to clear the table, he was not asked if it tasted good or if there was something wrong... strange service! I'm a trained chef and waiter myself and I can't sub fry enough, El Meson's food tasted cheap and like the tongue out of the window!

22/03/2024: I visited the restaurant with some friends and we had been looking forward to ordering paella. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The dish lacked taste, the portion was too small and the majority consisted of rice. After the meal we left the restaurant hungry and had to find a cafe where we ordered sausages to fill up. With a price of DKK 269 per person, the paella was not worth the money.

16/03/2024: I had Afternoon Tea here today. It was insanely delicious and really nice service. Great recommendation for chocolate lovers. I got a vegetarian version without any problems, even though it's not on the card.

29/03/2024: A place with atmosphere and history, have visited the place several times and they have not disappointed. Good Danish food.

28/03/2024: We actually wanted to walk a little further to another restaurant, but it was cold so we stopped at the bodega. We needed two places and they were in close proximity to the toilet! That wasn't particularly comfortable! Others have talked about the grumpy waitress, well as a Berliner it wasn't a problem with her. Drinks took a little longer, but then it was fine. Friendly, kind and attentive. The food was really good and very plentiful. The atmosphere in the restaurant is good, nice pictures and decoration. We'll definitely come back again.

13/03/2024: Great place around a corner with the scandi vibe. Perfect stop in the morning for a coffee or even a breakfast. Service was great and the breakfast was an excellent introduction to Denmark and puts you in a perfect mood for a day exploring the city. A highly recommened stop if you're lucky enough to have your hotel nearby!

22/02/2024: I was here on a Tuesday. As I'm not from Denmark, I don't know if Tuesday are usually this quite in restaurants, because the place was empty! The Food however was really good. The beef was nicely cooked, the short ribs fell off the bone and the Jurusalem Artisjok was very tasty. I do have to duck off a point dor the service. The waiter was probably very bored due to the lack of customers and that showed. Conclusion: even though the place was almost empty, don't let it hold you back to eat here!

28/12/2023: The atmosphere is cozy and the twist between a restaurant and a gift shop is cool. The staff is very polite. The bagel itself is rather thin and the whole thing feels more like a sandwich.

28/02/2024: Vi var en vennegruppe, der efter et besøg på museet fik en glimrende frokost med mange små lækre anretninger serveret af kvikt personale med et glimt i øjet - herligt

17/02/2024: Rigtig dejligt smørrebrød, god stemning og fin service, en enkel ting rødkålen til flæskesteg var ikke særlig velsmagende, det kan gøres bedre.

08/03/2024: Unfortunately, a somewhat different experience than expected. There must have been a new menu since the last time we were there, because this time we got a steak for 299 with a small bowl of béarnaise and a bowl of sick fries from netto, not so much as the shadow of a small vegetable it is simply too tacky and a drag . We have been there often over time, but this is probably the last time because it felt a bit like a visit to a quick bistro.

25/02/2024: Cozy place, but their fish and chips cannot be recommended. The fish was apparently not quite fresh, and the fries were boring. The sauces were good though.

25/02/2024: The cafe really hits the spot with its location, food and service, but the interior is probably too dark bordering on the dark. Is there a need for an "operation morgenluft"?.

25/02/2024: We had a nice time doing some work while sitting here in Grød. The food is good and we ate it all up. They have power plugs for charging and that made everything perfect. I have them 4 stars only because my Latte was not warm enough and had to be drank quite fast instead of more HYGGE with it. Will be back

01/04/2024: It's a nice place with many restaurants. The place, which hosts many different world cuisines, is very comfortable and pleasing to the eye. The toilets are clean and the location is perfect.

22/03/2024: Very delicious and well prepared food, wide variety, quite expensive with everything in Copenhagen, and a detail that he did not like at all, the unisex bathrooms and also very, very dirty, incredible in a place like this.

26/02/2024: If you're hungry for poor service and male chauvinism, this is a good bet.

09/10/2023: Ordered 2 sandwiches. They were fresh and tasty and also “cheap” by Danish standards. We would go there again and order.
