19/08/2025: We stumbled upon “Café Apropos” on the evening of the 18th — the grand finale of our 8-day Danish road trip. And I do mean stumbled: it was 9:30 PM, we were running late, and desperately hunting for something to feed the kid. The place looked stylish and vaguely Parisian, so we thought, “Why not?” Well… the confusion began with the menu and only got worse from there. If this was meant to be a Parisian bistro, someone forgot to tell the kitchen. The kids’ chicken? Marinated in a spicy sauce — because nothing says “child-friendly” like a surprise kick of heat. Once we realized that, we swapped it for a delightfully thin hamburger tucked inside a hollow bun. Gourmet minimalism, perhaps? Meanwhile, the “tapas plate” featured jalapeños, tortilla sauce, and a few mystery items that defied identification. And the “Parisian steak”? Oh dear. It was a dry hamburger (dear “chef,” ever heard of beef fillet?) perched on a slice of yesterday’s bread, surrounded by random vegetables that added nothing but confusion — and later, stomach drama I won’t detail here out of mercy. The one bright spot? Our waitress. Cheerful, friendly, and just as baffled as we were when the kitchen insisted, “Yes, the baby chicken is marinated in spicy sauce — but just a little spicy!” Final verdict: charming decor, baffling food, and a culinary identity crisis (yes, including pasta with chicken). Proceed with caution — or better yet, don’t.

15/08/2025: Great cafe, we had brunch - highly recommend the hummus toast too. Very fresh. Thanks for having us!

06/09/2025: Good and solid brunch menu including several items with chocolate. The chocolate-Hazelnut spread is absolutely delicious and so were the crepes. We had booked a table, but they didn't inform us, that we had to order at the counter... still the service was kind ad efficient.

12/08/2025: Central location, shop ok, toilet very clean and delicious. We were the only customers, and after ordering brunch at the cash register with coffee and a jug of water, it took 15 minutes before water and coffee arrived. The coffee tasted bitter and was one and a half. The water was with ice and ok. When the brunch arrived we were introduced to what it was and it was ok delicious, especially the truffle sausage and the pesto. The pancake with dark chocolate looked nice and delicious, but tasted a bit like it wasn't freshly made. The 3-4 people standing at the cash register/front kitchen were so busy talking that they didn't notice us leaving. In their defense, one of them came over when we had eaten the spread and said that we should just say if we wanted more water or bread. (without spread) All in all, a mediocre experience, hope others have had better luck

23/11/2025: The place is very nice but...stay away from gasoline burgers me and my wife where sick all night waste of a 300 kr for 2 burger and frozen tasteless fries fries I can go bye but the burgers had so much oil that we where sick all night this is unacceptable from a place that has some rename to it

08/11/2025: Newly opened skating rink with music and cozy food court around. Equipment can be rented. On Saturday it was a bit crowded, but still it was nice to go skating there. Ice quality is ok)

04/11/2025: It felt like stepping into another era — as if I had traveled back in time. The two stylish servers were wonderfully kind and attentive, and it was fascinating to notice and appreciate all the objects, paintings, and small decorations inside the restaurant. Each detail seemed to tell a story, revealing the history and character woven into the place. Watching the servers warmly chat with their regulars added to the charm, giving me a sense of being part of a special kind of everyday life. I especially wanted to enjoy a quiet meal by myself, and even though it was a busy dining hour, I was able to have my own space and fully relax while enjoying my meal. The delicious danish food and sparkling cold beer made my evening perfect.

18/10/2025: We were some people who had booked a table for lunch, had not told how many we were in total, but probably 15-20. When the last 10 people arrive, we are greeted by a woman and a male waiter who invites us in. We barely get in then the male waiter starts saying that we were more than what was booked. However, this information is not correct, and the 7 remaining people who were more than the 15 people could not be there, in the end we were allowed to use the back room, it was a very unpleasant behavior from the male waiter, he came several times and said different things to us in a very rude and degrading way, when he came the last time and said that he could only make 1 bill for 22 people, because he would spend too much time on each person having to pay for the food, (it should be said that the drinks had to be ordered and paid for at the bar) so it was the pieces of food that you had been given that would be added together. There we 10 people who were up in the back room decided to call another restaurant, where we got a table for 12 people right away. I have never in my life been to a waiter who was both disgusting and rude, we are an association that has been going through it once a year for 10 years, this was the last time.

08/07/2025: Necesito revisar la pizza, ¡pero no puedo encontrar el restaurante del aeropuerto! Tuve un par de horas libres en el aeropuerto y entré en Neighbourhood Pizza. Pedí una pizza de papa con salami extra (no estoy seguro de cuál fue mi proceso de pensamiento, supongo que fue curiosidad). Todo ordenado en la aplicación, la camarera estaba esperando el pedido. Las bebidas se sirvieron rápidamente y la pizza llegó unos minutos después. La pizza estaba buena (le quité la papa), había aceites disponibles, la limonada estaba buena y la otra mitad le dio a la IPA un 9/10. Excelente servicio, buen menú. La pizza estaba realmente buena. Coste total: 44€. 20 (Una pizza, limonada, IPA y agua)

31/05/2025: Llegamos a Copenhague (zona de Norrebro) alrededor del mediodía y después de registrarnos en nuestro piso fuimos a dar un paseo. Ninguno de los dos hemos estado aquí antes, así que simplemente tiramos los dados / seguimos nuestras narices. Terminamos en esta zona genial y el vecindario nos atrajo de inmediato. Fue un buen día y hay un montón de asientos al aire libre (en el sol y la sombra), pero estábamos un poco jet lag, así que optamos por el interior fresco y tranquilo. Hay una buena selección de cerveza artesanal (probé la pilsener, la cerveza rubia y la cerveza Vienna lager) y las pizzas estaban deliciosas. Tuve los amantes de Burrata y mi esposa tuvo el pollo al ajo. Ambos eran crujientes, cargados de ingredientes / sabores frescos, y se presentan bien en tablas con ruedas de pizza para cortar. El servicio era cálido y acogedor, el ambiente agradable y la música funcionaba. Una gran experiencia de primera comida en una ciudad que es nueva para nosotros. Volveremos seguro.

27/09/2025: I would give it 0 stars if possible! We went with a gift card and they served us stale food. Everything was HORRIBLE — the food was bad, the staff distant and unfriendly. They gave us an avocado as hard as a rock, SALMON WITH A BAD TASTE, the fruit portion was disgusting (3 pieces of old, bland pineapple), the tuna mousse was awful, straight out of the cheapest can of tuna in the country. The bread was RAW, damp, and terrible! The tables and chairs were dirty, and the staff didn’t even ask if we needed anything. They didn’t give us spoons to eat the yogurt or the cake (and the place wasn’t even crowded). It’s clear that the food quality is terrible, straight from a supermarket package that’s been sitting there for days.

27/09/2025: Very bad brunch. The avocado was completely unripe and hard. The salmon was clearly cheap salmon bought in a random supermarket with the cheapest shrimp on top. The tuna mousse didn't taste good either, and it was probably also mixed with the cheapest canned tuna. The fruit on top of the yogurt was wrinkled and not fresh. In addition, the tables and chairs were also dirty. The waiters didn't come and ask us if the food was okay. All in all, a bad brunch experience, where price and quality are not at all related.

12/12/2025: First they count us for 2 more meals and when we said threat something is wrong, they return money they still didn’t give back the tip that was obligatory and adder to first bill. Also count for 2 bottles of water even if it was one. Food was ok, hot wine was good but in total we were not happy about this situation with the recipe. Do not recommend this place for sure.

12/12/2025: The place is very atmospheric and beautiful. The waiter who served us was very polite and talkative, but nothing more. The food was average and very expensive. We were charged the wrong bill for dishes we didn't eat, and we were charged water twice, which was supposed to be free. I don't recommend it.

28/10/2025: Omg this place reminded me of home back in atlanta Georgia. The bagel was so soft and swear they had to make the cream cheese . The young lady was so nice I remember name but I will get it tomorrow

30/09/2025: Unbelievably delicious food. Our Ukrainian girls are great, Regina, thank you for the delicious lunch. The next day, we went on a cruise, and I told everyone where you can eat deliciously in Copenhagen 👏❤️

21/09/2025: The atmosphere and people serving were nice, but that's where the good news ends.We waited around half an hour for the porridge and it was super salty when it finally arrived...we couldn't get through it and felt sick after.What a shame.

28/07/2025: We got breakfast there and we each ordered a dish. I got the chia pudding and added some toppings (which I am very glad I did, otherwise it would be a completely empty bowl). The chia pudding was good, I did not enjoy the granola as it was kinda salty, which in addition to the salty almond butter they topped it with, did not taste very good. My boyfriend got the waffle and it was literally a singular waffle with 3 pieces of strawberries and 3 tiny pieces of white chocolate. Definitely not worth the price. One thing that bothered me the most was the service. We were served our dishes 10 minutes apart. 10 minutes! We also noticed that the couple sitting next to us, received one dish immediately and the other 15 minutes later. The staff was chatting and you could see that they were not working on the orders. Such a shame, I was very disappointed by this place, I came here because of their delicious looking instagram page but left disappointed.

20/10/2025: I ordered a Stracciatella Bowl with the option of extra chicken via Wolt. You forgot the chicken, and of course that's what can happen. But what I don't think is fair is that in such a case, only a paltry 29 kroons is given as compensation. It's not fair, because I'm left with a dish without much protein, and I have to order another one to feel full. So I almost end up paying double the price because you're making a mistake that you don't want to correct in fairness. I've already spent thousands of kronor at Grød, but it's definitely over now.
