14/12/2025: Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Fantastic food.
We were 6 people (3 generations) on Friday 12/12/2025 and everyone was super satisfied. Lovely sweet family who cooks and serves. Completely an unforgettable experience. We will definitely come again.
11/12/2025: It is the best food and food for everyone from a hearty pasta to the most flavorful pizza. The staff greets you with a huge smile and is the perfect place to create the best memories with friends and family.

17/12/2025: Scam and arrogance.
Booked a table at this restaurant, but then an error message appeared on the website, which resulted in three bookings being registered suddenly. Only two of them were confirmed, and had to cancel anyway, so I cancelled both of them.
But since there was one last one left, you charged me 1,200 DKK for a no show fee.
This was impossible for me to know, and they refuse to pay this back. So a mistake on their part, they refuse to take responsibility for, and instead drain their customers in this way from their bank cards.
Met with no understanding and only arrogance.
We are shocked, and will never return. Have heard of similar practices, but would not have thought that they also run such scams.
Stay away! And do not give them your card details.

09/11/2025: We got turned away, she told us that there was no tables free despite there being multiple tables free inside and outside with the heaters on and no reserved signs on any, it was very strange.
06/11/2025: I visited Hooked Restaurant in May 2024. Tried the Mac and cheese appetizer and it was delicious. The lobster roll was pretty good too. The fish and chips was ok. Overall, the staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. The restaurant is also cozy and warm. For my full review, pls check out my video diary in my YouTube Channel!

High, high class, delicious food all the way through and service top notch
Deserved bib in Michelin, maybe it's fat to only give four stars, but the fifth is what gives the star in Michelin
And it's great that there are these places that are satisfied with bib and not the stars
Highly recommended, next time we will try their four dishes vegan

26/11/2025: Incredible food and servers! The Christmas Menu (#1) would have been enough to feed 2 people! (I'm not sure if they allow you split it, as we didn't ask, but they do *not* allow leftovers to be taken, due to risks.) Beautifully decorated for the holiday season.

24/10/2025: Fantastic pizzeria with an always smiling owner who spreads a good mood. The pizza with mascarpone is in a class of its own. You can't eat inside, but just on the other side is a green area, perfect for enjoying your pizza.

It was cold inside and it was definitely drawing in stars. You couldn't keep warm if you sat by one of the big windows.

19/08/2025: We stumbled upon “Café Apropos” on the evening of the 18th — the grand finale of our 8-day Danish road trip. And I do mean stumbled: it was 9:30 PM, we were running late, and desperately hunting for something to feed the kid. The place looked stylish and vaguely Parisian, so we thought, “Why not?”
Well… the confusion began with the menu and only got worse from there. If this was meant to be a Parisian bistro, someone forgot to tell the kitchen. The kids’ chicken? Marinated in a spicy sauce — because nothing says “child-friendly” like a surprise kick of heat. Once we realized that, we swapped it for a delightfully thin hamburger tucked inside a hollow bun. Gourmet minimalism, perhaps?
Meanwhile, the “tapas plate” featured jalapeños, tortilla sauce, and a few mystery items that defied identification.
And the “Parisian steak”? Oh dear. It was a dry hamburger (dear “chef,” ever heard of beef fillet?) perched on a slice of yesterday’s bread, surrounded by random vegetables that added nothing but confusion — and later, stomach drama I won’t detail here out of mercy.
The one bright spot? Our waitress. Cheerful, friendly, and just as baffled as we were when the kitchen insisted, “Yes, the baby chicken is marinated in spicy sauce — but just a little spicy!”
Final verdict: charming decor, baffling food, and a culinary identity crisis (yes, including pasta with chicken). Proceed with caution — or better yet, don’t.

25/11/2025: Ordering went ok, but the waiter walked past the kitchen several times after the kitchen had put the food on the counter and rang the bell. After 5 minutes the chef rang again and only 3 minutes later we got the food.
The fries were good
