16/02/2024: Fantastic place if you are dying in the typical New Nordic decorated coffee bars in Copenhagen. A special but cozy interior with a very simple menu. Bmo was perfectly fine, but a little too salty for my own taste. Good yogurt bowl, however, some fresh/dried fruit and some colorful herbs could have lifted the experience. The coffee was solid, but nothing out of the ordinary. Come here for the atmosphere and location.

As I said to the person serving us, please, pretty please, open restaurants in Sweden. Don't change anything to the recipes and cooking! Just come and do your magic here! ❤️😋❤️

SPIS proves that it is possible to offer hamburgers and respect the ingredients, and without being unnecessarily expensive!

You book at the cash desk, give your name and as soon as you're ready they call you by name.
Cutlery, napkins and water are available in a specially prepared area.
We fell in love with this place and during our weekend in Copenhagen, we went twice 🤗
30/03/2024: Very good place to go for breakfast. Many options and all delicious. The coffee is one of the best I have ever tasted. Of course, get the idea that it is not a cheap place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good location.

02/04/2024: Highly recommend this location for a delicious lunch! The Hooked Burger, a crusted fish sandwich, is huge and full of flavor. It comes with fries and a side of sauce. My friend and I also ate the lobster roll, although on the smaller side it is packed with sweet lobster meat and topped with tasty fried onions. The prices are reasonable and the food fresh. Definitely check it out if in the Vesterbro area.
31/03/2024: Really good value for money. Atmosphere is nothing amazing but the food was great. The calamari was particularly stand out.

12/03/2024: As went early, we were the first guests and luckily enjoyed quiet environments and comprehensive explanation of food, ingredients and pairing wines.
Creative combination but able to keep the original ingredients own tastes.
Very kind and thoughtful services.
Not luxury but very classic.
Highly recommend.

29/03/2024: We had the best dinner experience in Europe so far ( and we travel a lot) Everything we ate was so delicious. We were full at end of the night. We even asked for an extra appetizer with veal because we loved it, and they gave it to us for free. Thank you all for this experience, and especially Cesare who took care of us tonight.

04/02/2024: I was on a wonderful date with my girlfriend on her birthday. We skated around for a little hour and drank hot cocoa with marshmallows over the afternoon. Lovely location right next to the water and great atmosphere😎/😎

30/03/2024: Tasty thin crust pizzas, great service. The roasted potato pizza was amazing! They make their signature cocktails with naturally infused / flavoured liquors. We thoroughly enjoyed the ones we ordered.

We ordered the Garlic Chicken and Burrata pizzas. Light, crispy and just enough toppings that you were able to pick up by hand. Tasted even better with a cocktail and City Session IPA
Food and atmosphere were great however the service was a bit slow. We visited here on a Sunday night around 8pm with no reservation. The venue was quiet when we arrived however a few other groups of tourists arrived shortly after us so presume it was busier than normal for Sundays. Despite this the staff were helpful and really friendly.
Neighbourhood have a few other venues that are located throughout Copenhagen so we aim to try these out next time we visit :)
