11/11/2025: What a wonderful experience from the moment we walked in the door until we left the restaurant! Our waiter – a young, attentive and energetic girl – provided top-notch service. She was fresh and cheerful, but in just the right way: present without being too intrusive. We really appreciated that! There were a few small disappointments in terms of drinks, as some of the things we asked for were unfortunately not available. However, this did not change the overall experience, which was still really good. The food was definitely not disappointing – every single dish tasted delicious, and although it was not a full Michelin experience, everything was complete, well-prepared and tasty. The portions were appropriate and filling, and the pace of service was absolutely perfect – we did not feel stressed or pressured to hurry, even though you only have the table for about two hours. We only had to ask for bread once, and that was actually the only thing we could put our finger on. Everything else was handled quickly and kindly. Yes, the restaurant is a bit crowded, and the noise level can be loud – but we were able to drown out the “noise” and enjoy the company. We sat really nicely at the corner table, so it ended up being quite cozy anyway. The dessert was a bit disappointing, though. I missed a little more sweetness and crispness – perhaps caramelized apple pieces could provide a good balance between the sweet and crisp and lift the dish up a level. The place itself could do with a little refreshing, especially the toilet, which showed signs of wear and tear. But that doesn’t change the fact that we had a really nice experience.

09/11/2025: We got turned away, she told us that there was no tables free despite there being multiple tables free inside and outside with the heaters on and no reserved signs on any, it was very strange.

06/11/2025: I visited Hooked Restaurant in May 2024. Tried the Mac and cheese appetizer and it was delicious. The lobster roll was pretty good too. The fish and chips was ok. Overall, the staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. The restaurant is also cozy and warm. For my full review, pls check out my video diary in my YouTube Channel!

25/11/2025: We had a really lovely morning at Kompa9. It was difficult to find the café on the street because there was no sign. The owner is incredibly friendly and kind. He pays attention to everyone, smiles, and chats for a bit. Their coffee is delicious. Their brunch is great. I recommend making a reservation — it’s always very full.

23/11/2025: A lovely little café in one of the old half-timbered houses – with a small wood-burning stove that warmed me up wonderfully after I'd frozen through the Christmas market. Really friendly service, delicious food, and specialty coffees and milk drinks.

18/10/2025: One, if not the best place in the city, if you want to eat something authentic and delicious, and not spend the fortune. The food was perfect and the taste original.

11/10/2025: Mariano is a cozy café/restaurant that I visit once a month, when our jazz choir is out for a little one-on-one after choir practice. The service is always very friendly and cheerful. I have eaten there once and without remembering what I ate, I remember that the food was excellent. More on that in a couple of weeks.

26/11/2025: Incredible food and servers! The Christmas Menu (#1) would have been enough to feed 2 people! (I'm not sure if they allow you split it, as we didn't ask, but they do *not* allow leftovers to be taken, due to risks.) Beautifully decorated for the holiday season.

26/10/2025: On the last night of my visit to Copenhagen, I needed some home-cooked food to recharge my batteries, so I decided to go to this restaurant. We ordered garlic shrimp, croquettes, and patatas bravas. The shrimp are amazing; they're excellent, and the chicken croquettes are also very good. If I had to mention something that could be improved, it would be the potatoes. I think because they're fried and have skin on, which slightly alters the flavor, but despite this, they're not bad at all, probably because of the delicious aioli that accompanies them. The food is quite good, but the best thing about the place is the staff. They offer a delicate and very friendly service, and most of the staff speak Spanish. If you're Spanish and want to eat like at home, you won't be disappointed. If you're not Spanish and want to try the food, this is definitely the right place.

16/10/2025: Good restaurant with delicious sandwiches for lunch and warm dishes.

15/10/2025: They allow you to reserve until 9 p.m. We reserved at 8:30 p.m., and when we arrived, they told us the kitchen would close in 15 minutes. We had to choose and eat in a hurry. The food was acceptable, but nothing special.

29/11/2025: Four stars even though there were many guests and the noise level was therefore high

21/11/2025: TERRIBLE SERVICE! I was there with a big group and our orders got mixed up, so I never received my hot chocolate. I followed up (politely) after waiting for 30 min or so and received a SUPER SALTY hot chocolate. I had the others taste it and they all said there was clearly something wrong with it. I had had hot chocolate there many times before, and it never tasted like that. Either a big mix up or just petty behavior by the staff - so I cannot recommend the place.

07/11/2025: The food is not good enough. Christmas menu Not at all for the price. Good duck with bought red cabbage. Inedible rice salad, good salmon. Nothing that was really good.

16/08/2025: Atmosphere Indoor and outdoor seating. With heatlamps. Not very packed. Food Good and good prices. Different than what you get elsewhere. Where tasty and many options available. Appetizers good too. Service Friendly and attentive. Fast service.

12/10/2025: We had the best time at Famo for our private event (a wedding). Famo took time to tailor the menu to our wishes and pair with great wines. It is clear that the staff know a lot about food and wine and as a customer you feel safe in their hands. The food and service was impeccable on the day and we highly recommend it to everyone!!! Both for events and for an evening out 😀😀😀
