30/03/2024: Very friendly and helpful owner. The restaurant is very nice and rustic - for example, the owner's face can be found on stickers in the restaurant.
The smørrebrød was very tasty.
The only catch: there is no toilet.
16/03/2024: Small place, but very nice, very kind owner and very good smorrerbrod, with top quality products, and at reasonable prices (for Copenhagen prices)

29/03/2024: We ordered spaghetti bolognese and spaghetti carbonara. The price was absolutely cheap compared to the other restaurants in the area. We didn't wait long for our food and it was absolutely delicious. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The restaurant is a bit small and it was very warm, but otherwise really great and we would come back at any time.
28/03/2024: What can you say more when they play italian radio in the restaurant, speak italian, the staff has a lunch next to your table and they treat you as if you are their family. The best experience in Copenhagen so far.

Difficult to find this level of service and friendliness in restaurants nowadays, outstanding!
16/03/2024: Cafe Gl. Torv holder 100%, smørrebrødet var i top og anbefalingerne til af øl og snaps var også i top. Betjeningen var professionel hele vejen igennem.
Vi kommer hel sikkert igen.

24/03/2024: Service was great. Food was amazing. Would definitely come again! Definitely recommend the gnocchi and the fish!
19/03/2024: I was really looking forward to seeing what all the fuss was about with this place. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the portion sizes and even the bread.
Also, we had a French waiter who first of all wouldn’t close the door even though it was super cold and second of all, he tried to take our plates without us finishing the food as an attempt to tell us our seating was coming to an end. I understand that we need to respect the times, but there are other ways to communicate this.

30/03/2024: In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in Copenhagen, alongside Maple Casual Dining. Food and service are excellent. Recommend the Nachos to start with. The seafood pasta is excellent too. For Copenhagen, it is not do expensive either.
29/03/2024: Cafe Marzano did not disappoint on any counts. On the contrary. From the start we felt welcome and the place had a cozy vibe.
Even with a clear menu, it was difficult to choose. So I chose a pasta dish with mushrooms and beef, my husband a steak with side dishes and then we ordered a shared pizza. And Wow it was delicious. Creamy pasta, tender steak and a tasty pizza that is now my new favourite. Tiramisu and espresso for dessert and the experience was complete.
A special thank you to the sweet and smiling young people who served and to the chef who got the food out at a pace many would envy. And then it was made to perfection.
Thanks for the food, we will definitely be back.

The Little Yellow Coffee Bar

01/01/2024: Even though me and some of my buddies only went in for some water on this very hot summer day, the atmosphere and service was cozy, and delightful. I have been here a couple of times before, eating breakfast and lunch. With my family, and they all loved this cozy place. It’s a shame to see that the Little Yellow Coffeeshop is closing down, as it was one of my go to places in Copenhagen after arriving with train.

13/03/2024: Such a lovely place. You could walk by it as it’s below the sidewalk but the inside is spacious and full of light. Greeter/server was so polite and welcoming. Fantastic selection of lunch open faced sandwiches and our choices were delicious and beautifully presented.
13/03/2024: We had a reunion luncheon with our friends and their family at Pilekælderen Restaurant during our visit to Copenhagen in February 2024, and really enjoyed our time there. A cosy little place with charm and comfort Restaurant Pilekælderen serves up some delicious Danish classics that make us feel like we have indeed arrived in Denmark. The service team was incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive. Thank you for your kind hospitality & We will be back again!

16/02/2024: Fantastic place if you are dying in the typical New Nordic decorated coffee bars in Copenhagen. A special but cozy interior with a very simple menu. Bmo was perfectly fine, but a little too salty for my own taste. Good yogurt bowl, however, some fresh/dried fruit and some colorful herbs could have lifted the experience. The coffee was solid, but nothing out of the ordinary. Come here for the atmosphere and location.

As I said to the person serving us, please, pretty please, open restaurants in Sweden. Don't change anything to the recipes and cooking! Just come and do your magic here! ❤️😋❤️

SPIS proves that it is possible to offer hamburgers and respect the ingredients, and without being unnecessarily expensive!

You book at the cash desk, give your name and as soon as you're ready they call you by name.
Cutlery, napkins and water are available in a specially prepared area.
We fell in love with this place and during our weekend in Copenhagen, we went twice 🤗
30/03/2024: Very good place to go for breakfast. Many options and all delicious. The coffee is one of the best I have ever tasted. Of course, get the idea that it is not a cheap place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good location.
