17/04/2025: Ordered a pita bread with extra meat (DKK 70 + DKK 10) at night with delivery, the food was delayed, paid for a bag that was not included....the food tasted fine, but there was no extra meat and the pita bread was generally scraped, paid DKK 96 in total with delivery....felt really cheated! :( :( :(

27/04/2025: Vi spiste i gourmet restauranten med vin- og saftmenu. Blev blæst bagover af de lækreste 10-12 retter, med 5 starters. Så smagfyldte små retter, tilpasset vin/saft. Alt præsenteret på bedste vis og super service. Forvent det uventede.

20/05/2025: Nice restaurant, good and friendly service. Taking care of special requests if you want to change something. I really could recommend to visit the restaurant if you stay on Ærø. They take just cash, which is perfectly fine. An ATM is cross the street

10/02/2025: iBagel is a convenient souvenir and snack shop which serves a variety of sandwiches and beverages. The breakfast bagel was good for a quick grab and go meal.

04/05/2025: The food came to the table barely an hour after arrival. The food was cold, and the new version also took a long time to be prepared. It was a bit incomprehensible as it was only a Parisian steak. Which, by the way, lacked taste. In compensation, we were offered a cup of coffee or soft drink.

03/06/2025: I'm ambivalent, it really depends on which event you're at. It doesn't feel completely clean, and it's a bit messy. But the outdoor lounge is nice in the summer. The atmosphere is pitchers of pitchers which are delicious. Beer and drinks

31/05/2025: It's a pretty cozy place 😊 We were a larger group but they managed it just fine 😊 The only thing I would like to comment on is the number of toilets or lack thereof 😔 There are 2 toilets for the whole place and that's just too few... I know there's not much to do about it but that's why it's annoying anyway 😊

11/05/2025: I had an incredibly flavorful and tender plank steak, served with a warm roll and delicious sides – all at a very reasonable price. I’ll definitely be coming back!

18/01/2025: We were a party of 20 for brunch, where 2 had unfortunately fallen ill on the day, and you had contacted mcale at opening hours and canceled for these 2. Food and atmosphere were okay, but we are asked to pay full price for the 2 who did not show up and are met with very poor service from the staff in question who insisted on their right to charge for the 2 who did had canceled. After a tedious and in our eyes unnecessary dialogue, we ended up having to pay for one of the 2 guests who had not turned up. I don't think it's fair to charge for 2 guests who have canceled their visit to the restaurant from early in the morning. There is no question of non-attendance, and on the call where it was announced that there were two who could not participate anyway, nothing was mentioned about an extra fee. It ruined the experience for us at mcale.
