25/06/2025: I went from loving my first night here to being treated like a burden by staff. Charging $3.98 USD for sparking water is totally within your prerogative and I believe it is on me to learn price before ordering.
But for an order that has been free from every other bar and res I’ve been to (7) of the last establishments,dispensed from a soda line (not bottled) to be chargedat $4 or 26dkk is not ok to me without a reasonable communication of the price. It felt like it was priced out of animosity towards a privileged American… which I most certainly am - but I’m also trying to share genuine heartfelt feedback so I really hope staff reads this and that you visit them to give them the benefit of the doubt.
To the bartenders, I really enjoyed the drink thank you.

29/06/2025: Generally boring - 100 kr for entry, even though you don't need to use the included wardrobe, the bar outside is closed and the outdoor area closes 45 minutes after we arrive, so we left the place again.

08/10/2024: Had a great experience at Social. The coffee was really good—smooth, flavorful, and just what I needed. Their BMO was amazing too, definitely a standout. Friendly vibe and a nice spot to hang out. Worth a visit!

18/01/2025: We were a party of 20 for brunch, where 2 had unfortunately fallen ill on the day, and you had contacted mcale at opening hours and canceled for these 2.
Food and atmosphere were okay, but we are asked to pay full price for the 2 who did not show up and are met with very poor service from the staff in question who insisted on their right to charge for the 2 who did had canceled. After a tedious and in our eyes unnecessary dialogue, we ended up having to pay for one of the 2 guests who had not turned up.
I don't think it's fair to charge for 2 guests who have canceled their visit to the restaurant from early in the morning. There is no question of non-attendance, and on the call where it was announced that there were two who could not participate anyway, nothing was mentioned about an extra fee.
It ruined the experience for us at mcale.

08/07/2025: Very good Margherita pizza and mushroom ravioli. Scrumptious with large potion sizes. Slightly expensive but worth it.
Service was good.
16/06/2025: Our best dining experience in Copenhagen. A relaxing setting and background music, delicious food, and a very friendly server. Fast service. I highly recommend Café Vivaldi!

11/06/2025: Waited more than 10 minutes to have my food ordered and turned out to be some extremely heavy stuff cooked in cheap oils, impossible to digest within the next 5 hours
08/06/2025: Incredibly boring Pokebowls - consisted mostly of peas and corn.
Very lethargic and virtually non-existent service. No one asked if everything was as it should be or if we wanted more (coffee/tea etc). The waiters were nowhere to be seen. We took our coffee home instead.

11/12/2023: We were supposed to hold an event at the café in November. The buffet was excellent, but much of the food was buy-in food that was simply heated. A bit disappointing. The service from the youth workers was quite nice, but the service, from what I assume is the owner, was service-abandoned. No interest in providing any kind of service. We got the feeling that we were a nuisance by coming. In any case, we don't want to arrange anything down there another time.. Our guests also commented that she was rude - both to them, but also to her employees. The youth workers also seemed to be slightly "afraid" of her. At one point, she was sitting at a table next to the bar with some friends, directing the youth workers what to do. It's not a very good signal to send to your guests.
09/12/2023: My boyfriend and I had called down to the cafe to ask if we could use our smartbox at them. Our smartbox rang for brunch for 2 people. We are told by an employee on the phone that it applies to both people and that we can just come down and have brunch and then "pay" with our smartbox. When we have eaten and have to go over and "pay", they suddenly want us to pay DKK 189 for the food. My girlfriend and I say that we have called and been told that smartbox one applies to both of us. So we will not pay. After some time where we have discussed with the employees, we are allowed to leave without paying any more.
It's a shame that it has to spoil our experience. We will never buy a smartbox again or go to that cafe.

The Little Yellow Coffee Bar

01/01/2024: Even though me and some of my buddies only went in for some water on this very hot summer day, the atmosphere and service was cozy, and delightful. I have been here a couple of times before, eating breakfast and lunch. With my family, and they all loved this cozy place. It’s a shame to see that the Little Yellow Coffeeshop is closing down, as it was one of my go to places in Copenhagen after arriving with train.
