12/03/2025: Brunch was really delicious and with a simple concept - each dish on the menu costs DKK 30, so we got a bit of everything (price does not apply to drinks). Especially the Waffle and Egg Benedict were good. Nice brunch experience, but we waited for almost 30 minutes before we could order. They claimed it was busy, but many of the seats inside were empty. One of the waiters had a bit of an attitude when we asked about plates When we arrived they didn't have enough menus so we had to look at our phones. A bit chaotic, but the food and price made up for it.

02/03/2025: I got a SW Burger, a sticky bun with a slice of salad, 3 red onion rings, two slices, I think they were pickled, a thin slice of cheese and a small layer of deresing and a well done steak, French fries with two types of dipping, DKK 165. ,😁 Hmmm I got a better burger for cheaper money. 2 stars might be a lot, but my girlfriend said I should behave myself.

26/09/2024: Rude bar. Bought a couple of beers with my boyfriend, we were sitting down already for 5-10 min, which bear in mind there was no reservation sign or anything indicating we could not sit on the table, so the bartender guy told us to stand up because they had quiz night. Next time put a sign or at least be nicer about it and don’t ruin our night being so rude please.

01/09/2024: Excellent bar with music and space for dancing, as well as high tables and booths and toilets for men and women respectively. The cocktails are quite nice, there is no Irish coffee or Margarita but there are Long Islands and good atmosphere and good service. You don't have to pay to get in // A good place to grab a drink or cocktail while not being too big of a place. You don't need to pay to get in.

03/01/2025: Ordered New Year's food and had a lukewarm experience. Watery lobster soup, tasteless steak, bland sauce and a dessert so small it almost disappeared on the plate.

24/11/2024: Champagne tasting with Taittinger!!! On this cold November evening, we were treated to lovely champagne and fantastic food from Brygghuset, (as usual). The restaurant delivers innovative food art of the higher school served by staff who put service first. Always. We will be back!

25/02/2025: We were there. An event "Music and Food" we sat from 6 to 8.30 pm and had listened to a strange playlist with everything from bridal waltz to pop music all the while we were waiting for the music to start, we asked at 8.30 pm after 2.5 hours at the table when the music started, here we were informed that the music started at 9.30 pm. And then our patience ran out and we left the place, it was a bit of a bummer no more events at the Brewer's Pantry 👎👎

11/02/2025: Cozy surroundings, and okay food, although not particularly memorable cuisine. The service was nice, but very untrained and inattentive, I had to ask several times for drinks, for new cutlery, and the food was not presented.

11/12/2023: We were supposed to hold an event at the café in November. The buffet was excellent, but much of the food was store-bought food that was simply heated. A bit disappointing. The service from the youth workers was quite nice, but the service, from what I assume is the owner, was service-abandoned. No interest in providing any kind of service. We got the feeling that we were a nuisance by coming. In any case, we don't want to arrange anything down there another time.. Our guests also commented that she was rude - both to them, but also to her employees. The youth workers also seemed to be slightly "afraid" of her. At one point, she was sitting at a table next to the bar with some friends, directing the youth workers what to do. It's not a very good signal to send to your guests.

09/12/2023: My boyfriend and I had called down to the cafe to ask if we could use our smartbox at them. Our smartbox rang for brunch for 2 people. We are told by an employee on the phone that it applies to both people and that we can just come down and have brunch and then "pay" with our smartbox. When we have eaten and have to go over and "pay", they suddenly want us to pay DKK 189 for the food. My girlfriend and I say that we have called and been told that smartbox one applies to both of us. So we will not pay. After some time where we have discussed with the employees, we are allowed to leave without paying any more. It's a shame that it has to spoil our experience. We will never buy a smartbox again or go to that cafe.

09/03/2025: Beautiful place for corporate events. I wasn't lucky enough to taste all the food on the buffet. Beautiful lake view.

31/01/2025: I visited this place with my colleagues because we had our staff party there. The service was very good but a lot of my colleagues, including myself, got food poisoning.

15/03/2025: Cute little beer bar. Portuguese family owned the place. They are super friendly. Good music and perfect sound level for those of us who like to talk together. Beer for every taste

28/03/2025: Says we are not allowed in due to dress code. Says we can check the dress code on their website, we are more of a perfectly dressed. Jeans shirt nice shoes. We ask what according to the dress code we do not follow. They said it didn't matter. Assholes all tied up, never go in there

16/03/2025: They need EVEN more heaters outside but awesome prices and awesome service.

08/03/2025: 40 degrees inside, 1 hour of waiting for a Campari, they must have manufactured it who knows where

02/03/2025: Plates too small, so the steak has to be on top of the salad.. A bit of a hassle to order. Very friendly staff.

22/09/2024: Sublimt køkken, sød, humoristik og dygtig tjener , lækre cocktails. Hyggelig atmosfære med lækker gårdhave og hyggeligt lys.

18/01/2025: We were a party of 20 for brunch, where 2 had unfortunately fallen ill on the day, and you had contacted mcale at opening hours and canceled for these 2. Food and atmosphere were okay, but we are asked to pay full price for the 2 who did not show up and are met with very poor service from the staff in question who insisted on their right to charge for the 2 who did had canceled. After a tedious and in our eyes unnecessary dialogue, we ended up having to pay for one of the 2 guests who had not turned up. I don't think it's fair to charge for 2 guests who have canceled their visit to the restaurant from early in the morning. There is no question of non-attendance, and on the call where it was announced that there were two who could not participate anyway, nothing was mentioned about an extra fee. It ruined the experience for us at mcale.

04/10/2024: So.. we had received a gift card for "Luxury brunch for 2" We are a family of 5 but spoke to the owner (I think) and he said we shouldn't buy another gift card. "Then I'd rather give you the discount here." We order food and have to pay on top of that for drinks. (It makes good sense). The food was bland and dry. Everything tasted like the cheapest on the market. The scrambled eggs were definitely from a carton and have a sticky sweet taste. Cheap juice, boring coffee. (The food cannot be recommended) When we have to pay, we talk to him about the fact that it says brunch for 2 people and he says that this is the value we get and not the NOK 179 the brunch costs per person. (It should be said that smartbox currently runs 20% on their boxes) Well, but he thinks that it is SMARTBOKS that does not write it correctly. I'm asking if they shouldn't get it fixed. He thinks that is not his problem. I go up with the gift card and NOK 420 because I calculate that this is what we owe if we got the 20% on the food that he said when we entered. But nahhhh... we had to give NOK 750. I try for a long time to explain to him that it was not the agreement. He gets insulted and is not to be talked to. I say I just buy a gift card (with a 20% discount) more then. With crossed arms and an uncomfortable attitude, he says "yes - then you have to do it." We talked about at the table that we had the feeling that he wanted to take our ass.. a bit like when you are in the south and a street vendor comes and wants to buy.. Only the woman who walked around the "restaurant" deserves the one star - the rest of the experience gets zero stars from me. Waste of time and the one time a month we go out to eat. Alas, it should be wasted on such a bad experience.!
