20/10/2026: There was no salt in the salt shaker. Otherwise everything was fine.

19/09/2026: Bad experience. Bad/no service from the staff. Long wait. We ordered a salad (price 169) that was missing something from the salad. The staff was very uncooperative and their attitude was not welcoming. Only when we spoke to their manager on the phone did we get the problem under control. The two stars are given based on the manager's way of handling the situation.

11/10/2026: We visited Café Jorden on 11/10 in connection with a birthday party for a family member. We had been out to have breakfast somewhere else in Aarhus where we were supposed to be at 09:00 and 2 hours later. We agreed that we could have a beer/soda somewhere else to end the morning well. We went into Café Jorden 12 people and we put our stroller at a cafe table outside where we could keep an eye on our 6 month old baby. Before we even got in, the waiter who was supposed to serve us asked if we could close the door. We were like a bunch of people going in and we just replied that everyone should come along. We sat down and went through what people wanted to drink, to which the same person came up and asked if it was our stroller that was standing in the corner. We said yes, after which he said it had to go. It should be said that there are almost no visitors, there are a few customers sitting at a couple of tables inside and no guests outside either in front or at their backyard. My wife politely asks if we can move the stroller into their backyard since we have our sleeping son out in it. To this the waiter replies no, it has to go away from their area and leaves. I get up and go down to him. Look him deep in the eyes and say. Tell me a good argument for me to remove my stroller when you have no customers out front. He looks at me and says it's due to procedure. I ask what procedure when there are no others and guests to which he doesn't know what to say. I look at him and say I hope damn it you're proud that you're asking us to remove our sleeping baby from your area which makes no difference to you but a huge difference to us. I go out to my son and remove him from where we've parked him and am determined to stay out here until the family is finished. Shortly after, they all come out in pure protest about the way you handled us. I could understand if you had a day with full booking and the tables had to be used outside. But there were NO people! Where is your service, where is my humanity and understanding? I will never set foot in such an inhumane cafe. I must add that in the two other places we were we met understanding and nice staff who even helped us make room for our stroller, we will visit such places again.

08/10/2026: Friends told us about this great cafe for a break when walking through the beautiful city of Aarhus. Easy walk from the cruise port. Great for people watching, great service, and really good food. Tip: order inside at the bar and they deliver the food to you inside or outside.

08/08/2026: Nice lunch. For the first time we tried ordering at the table, we don't usually do that. But the waiters were very welcoming and smiling. They often came by and asked if everything was as it should be. And that was it, tasty and delicious.

27/05/2026: The food was good and the service was ok but it annoys me immensely that the staff only speaks English. When they get a job in Denmark the minimum requirement should be that they can speak Danish!

10/10/2026: Really delicious bagels and a fantastic experience! Fresh ingredients, perfectly composed fillings and lots of flavor in every bite. Everything was made with care, and the quality was top notch. Super good service and an experience that definitely deserves 5 stars. Highly recommended. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! 😍❤️

07/10/2026: Great surroundings. That was the only positive thing to say. We bought the brunch buffet which was really not worth the money. But what we can't understand at all is that we paid 170kr for 3 glasses of juice. Really not a place I would recommend anyone to go.

15/08/2026: A rare bright spot on the menu—the mere existence of a vegan dish—was enough to lure me to Bistro V. Such an offering is an absolute rarity in Denmark, where, regrettably, culinary awareness of purely plant-based cuisine is still in its infancy. But my initial optimism quickly gave way to profound disappointment. What was finally served reflected on the plate precisely the utter indifference with which the server had carried the food to the table. While the dish could be considered rudimentarily edible, it fell far short of the craftsmanship, visual finesse, and depth of flavor one would expect from an established restaurant. A minimum of dedication—whether in the kitchen or to the guest—could easily have salvaged this experience. As it stands, all that remains is the memory of a carelessly presented meal and the regret over wasted potential.

10/10/2026: Nice restaurant, with good service, got a Birksø pot, and a couple of beers, tasted really good

30/09/2026: We visited after 8:30 PM. All the shops in the surrounding area were closed, and there were very few people around. The service was just right, and very friendly. Following my companion's recommendation, we ordered a Danish dish. The seasoning was mild, not too strong, and delicious. I'm not sure how to describe the flavor, but the roughly chopped pork and sausage on top weren't salty, and I could eat it without getting tired of the taste. I'd like to visit again if I have the chance, next time during the daytime when it's brighter.

22/10/2026: Food was quite tasty, however, it was over-priced. The service is quite poor: I had to ask 2 or 3 waiters before I could get a good explanation of the system in the café (it is a partial self-service: you have to order at the bar counter).

17/08/2026: Way too pricy for the amount of food you get. Fries didn’t even come with sauce for 9,80€. Turned out to be like ten big fries and that was it…
