20/08/2026: As an established Aarhusian, I have never had such poor food and completely rude and unfriendly service as at Cafe Jorden
I can only recommend staying far away from that place.
14/08/2026: After drinking two beers, I asked for a water refill, which cost me 24 DKK. I found this outrageous.

11/11/2025: We arrived at 5:30 PM as agreed and were shown a table at the back of the restaurant.
- After 20 minutes, we had to ask for the menu ourselves.
- After another 25 minutes, we had to look for the waiter to order drinks and burgers.
- After another 30 minutes, we had to go to the bar to get our drinks.
- When we got back to the table, our food had arrived 🤷♂️
⏰️ 55 minutes of waiting for 6 burgers and drinks is just too much.
🍔 The burgers were really good.
🍺 The beers were really expensive.
🛖 The place was worn and sparsely decorated.
🛵 Next time, it will only be Take away. The burgers were pretty good after all.

15/08/2026: A rare bright spot on the menu—the mere existence of a vegan dish—was enough to lure me to Bistro V. Such an offering is an absolute rarity in Denmark, where, regrettably, culinary awareness of purely plant-based cuisine is still in its infancy.
But my initial optimism quickly gave way to profound disappointment. What was finally served reflected on the plate precisely the utter indifference with which the server had carried the food to the table.
While the dish could be considered rudimentarily edible, it fell far short of the craftsmanship, visual finesse, and depth of flavor one would expect from an established restaurant. A minimum of dedication—whether in the kitchen or to the guest—could easily have salvaged this experience. As it stands, all that remains is the memory of a carelessly presented meal and the regret over wasted potential.
04/08/2026: A nice bistro opposite the Utzon Center.
Waited 45 minutes in a half-empty bistro for a burger and a sandwich.
The Danish guests who arrived after us were served first.
Is it worth it? I think not.

10/08/2026: A German-style brasserie, meaning simple international cuisine made with fresh ingredients. Ultra-fast and friendly service. You pay as you order, like at McDonald's, because it's huge. Reasonable prices for Copenhagen. Open late, continuous service.

Male waiter just stood there and whipped around with the female waiters
He spoke to them as if they couldn't think for themselves
He felt very important but as a guest he was really a burden
The female waiters looked like they were pressured into it
The staff had no control over anything
And not one of them could speak Danish and they didn't understand much English
The food was nothing to write home about
Too expensive for what you get
We won't be back

31/07/2026: Very good bagel and selection of smoothies 😋. We ordered a chicken bagel ( delicious), strawberry smoothie and a tasty coffee. The staff were very friendly and the service was efficient.
The atmosphere was calm and relaxing.
The bagel shop also has lots of copenhagen souvenirs
Overall very ice bagel restaurant and good customer service

02/05/2026: There was no outdoor service, I had to get my own draft beers, which is a bit inconvenient with a closed door that is difficult to open with my hands full, not very practical.
23/02/2026: Irish pub with a lovely atmosphere. Approximately 20 exceptional beers on tap. Delicious whiskeys invite you to linger. No food is served.

07/08/2026: I didn't have the opportunity to try the food, but their service was excellent. The owner of the place is a very friendly and welcoming person, and the girl in the bar was very helpful and nice. I long to try the place and eat in it soon. It looks like a comfortable and nice place.
17/07/2026: Cozy venue, but super unfriendly bouncer who was cursing at us. Kind of ruined my experience there. Also its a bit Pricey. There is better options in Copenhagen

Deluxe Pizza & Grill

02/08/2026: I go into the pizzeria and order a pizza and fries. I'm told it'll be ready in 30 minutes.
So I go for a walk and come back 15 minutes later.
I sit down and wait, and I see a pizza standing in the oven,
While I'm waiting.
I get the feeling that it's the same as the last time I picked up 2 pizzas. They had been sitting in the oven for so long that what they gave me was disgusting.
Back to today, when I've been sitting and waiting for 10 minutes, they put the fries on top, which they're finishing, and sure enough, they go over with the fries on the tray that's been in the oven for my 15 minutes. And hand them to me.
I ask them if they can't give me a correct waiting time, so that I don't have to go back with cold, boring food.
The response I get: None!! All 3 men look down and ignore me, so I ask again.
Then they offer to heat it again!!?
No more recommendation from here for that place, quite the opposite!!
The old owner was so good, it's a shame his successor is so miserable.
