17/02/2025: Copenhagen's craft beer OG! This quiet, friendly spot surprised me with the news that it's apparently the oldest craft beer bar in Copenhagen – a true gem. Ølbaren boasts a delightful, dimly lit atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a good brew. The handwritten beer list, which changes regularly, is a nice touch, though they also have some reliable staples. I loved the friendly vibe here; it felt like a true local's spot, and the patrons were welcoming. If you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere, great beer, and a bit of Copenhagen craft beer history, Ølbaren is a must-visit.
23/01/2025: Always nice to have a place that has a good selection of specialty beers, but the experience as a whole was not quite optimal.
The person behind the bar that day I felt was not super committed and in a small place like this it is often he or she who can make you want to come again, especially when you are only in the company of yourself.
The decor may also lack a little warmth and on one side of the place the guests sit almost a little on top of each other.

06/03/2025: Great recommendation from here. It is located in the most beautiful place with a view over the water. The atmosphere is cozy and there are plenty of seats inside as well as outside. Menu full of lovely dishes and really well prepared and fresh. The service was top notch. And the food was quickly delivered to the table, despite the fact that it was well filled with people. We chose Wake-up and Sunrise. We will definitely come back and try more delicious dishes. The prices were very reasonable for the high quality and large selection

02/01/2025: The owner is phenomenal and the place oozes old times. Big Danish jazz names have played at Bartof. And....there is still good music.... They have really good beer. Try their strawberry beer...It's delicious!!!

Summer months, they’ll have a lovely little gelato serving inside with Italian style ice cream.

08/03/2025: We were here for an event with my work. Great place with all for the sweet tooth. We had different types of chocolate, hot chocolate, icecream and a lady telling the history of Peter Beier. Everything was good, we will be back to try an Iced chocolate when summer comes.

26/03/2025: We visited the restaurant three times and ate there once. The food was good and freshly prepared. I find the portion size small in relation to the price. But that may also be Danish conditions. I say this because that's how I felt, there was no deduction in the rating.
Service cannot be rated better with this self service. The people behind the counter are nice. We cleaned up our dishes, not all customers do that, and sometimes a table needs to be wiped down, which was a problem on one day or another.
The ambience: of course it's wonderful outside, the window seats inside are beautiful, but otherwise I find it a bit like a train station hall.
