Good space between tables on the terrace; really good, friendly and competent service; well-prepared lunch. Even though the place was busy, we didn't wait very long for the food.

It’s a cozy place in this small town. The food is delicious and you can tell it’s made with care. If you’re in the area and want a genuine, welcoming dining experience, this is the place to go

02/08/2025: Too expensive for the quality and quantity. Among other things, I got two ribeyes, one was almost well done and the other was almost raw. No requests were made for cooking. The size of the drinks was cut, including soda and a single glass of wine.

Professionel og hyggelig betjening i gode rammer.
07/06/2025: Hvis man får lyst til en kop kaffe og et stykke kage af høj kvalitet, når man er på farten mellem Frederiksværk, Asserbo og Helsinge, kan det anbefales at lægge vejen forbi Tinggården. Stedets såkaldte “landhandel”, hvortil der er adgang via haven bag restauranten, holder åbent kl. 12-17 fredag-søndag og tilbyder kaffe og flere forskellige slags hjemmebagt kage af virkelig høj kvalitet for en rimelig pris, som man efter temperament og vind og vejr enten kan nyde i den hyggelige have eller ved små borde indenfor i den hyggelige landhandel.
Der er også hjemmebagt brød og et stort udvalg af delikatesser i montren, som man kan tage med hjem og nyde.

26/07/2025: Really cozy and idyllic place! Their sandwiches and cakes are so delicious - especially their bread.
The only downside is that they only make coffee with oat milk, and it's not mentioned anywhere on the menu and they don't inform you about it, so we only found out about it when we drank the coffee. But other than that it was absolutely fantastic and highly recommended!
20/07/2025: A charming, atmospheric coffee shop nestled among the cornfields. A barista-style spot that would be overrun in a larger town, requiring reservations two months in advance. Not here (yet). Delicious coffee, homemade cakes (also gluten-free). We'd love to come back for brunch! Unfortunately, they're only open Thursday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. So, with a week's vacation, you won't have much time to spend here.

08/08/2025: Since the restaurant also delivers take-away, you can save a lot of waiting time at the table by calling and ordering the food 20-30 minutes before you arrive - and then eating in the restaurant.
07/08/2025: You won't find better Indian food in North Zealand than here. Worth the drive!

08/08/2025: This is a guesthouse, not a hotel. There are no en-suite bathrooms; you share with others. The location and rooms are charming and picturesque. Breakfast is good, and in the evenings, there's a choice of main course and a variety of desserts. Everything is homemade.

23/07/2025: Got some food but was surrounded by a fantastic staff who do everything to bring your experience of the place to the top. Truly a gem in the summer country there is a concert on site so try it you won't be disappointed. And reasonable prices
