27/12/2025: Really good pizzas. Perfect cooked and excellent crust. Best place in Lyngby for sure.

15/12/2025: Simply amazing pasta and pizza but no talent for steak. With a healthy appetite my brother and I both ordered the Pasta al Ragù as primi. I was then tempted to diverge from earlier visits and try the most expensive item on the menu: Bistecca ai ferri, and with it some Patate al forno. I also found a red wine to pair it with. For dessert we finished off with Gelato alla vaniglia. The Pasta was great, a good sized dish, the just right temperature for the parmigiano to have maximum effect together with the ragout. The diced potatoes fried in rosemary and garlic oil were excellent as well and set up the pitfalls that was the main course. The grilled robeye was ordered medium rare and both looked and smelled delicious, to my supreme disappointment however it was simply tasteless in the most literal use of the word. It was boring and instantly overpowered by both wine and potato meant to compliment its flavour. Still hungry I made my disappointment clear to the waiter and made an unfortunate mistake as due to the time it took to get a waiter I did not ask for the menu, I simply ordered a pizza that I remembered: The Diavola. This truly wonderful pizza did of course completely clash with the red wine and as such further impacted the experience. It did however arrive swiftly which I commend them for. Lastly the ice cream a perfectly sweet solace from the slightly soured experience. It should be noted that we still paid full price for the ribeye. Despite this I would gladly dine here again, as I have before, the atmosphere is delightful and the other dishes are truly masterfully made, which is why the quality of steak was such a shock to me.

16/08/2025: Incredibly tasty ice cream, delicious consistency and knowledgeable service - i.e. the staff, in addition to being friendly, could answer in detail about the production of the ice cream. Particularly delicious pistachio that tasted of lots of good ingredients. However, the “Bastogne” ice cream could use another name - for example “coffee and cake” as it clearly tasted more of coffee than Bastogne. However, I was “warned” about the coffee taste before buying, so it doesn't detract :-) Lyngby department

23/12/2025: Our overall experience was not good. Food was not good at all as even they were not able to provide a proper mango lassi. Dal Makhni felt like they fried boiled dal in curry. Service was pathetic as no one available at reception in case you need anything as everyone was inside kitchen and then attending guests in between. When we tried to give feedback they were full of excuses and doesn’t want to hear anything. Their response was only that check our rating and feedback hence I am writing this feedback so that others can refer this feedback. My recommendation is negative.

15/11/2025: Golden Indian provided food as catering for a party of 30 people - the guests were very enthusiastic about the food and the service was good with the delivery of three different dishes in large pots, so it was easy to handle as a host. Very nice that you can decide for yourself how strong each dish should be, for example small children can also join in on the mild butter chicken (which is also a hit with adults)

21/11/2025: I ordered a pizza sandwich and a pita bread. We bought it on lunch special and were told that it was only takeaway during lunch. It wasn't on the menu or anywhere else. We get the food and ask nicely if we could eat inside because it has been snowing a lot outside, and then we are told that it is only takeaway. There were two seated customers besides us in the shop. The kebab was missing dressing and we were not asked about chili or anything. I am fairly disappointed with the experience but most of all the customer service from the man who served us. We had forgotten to ask for the receipt when we bought the item and came back shortly after. We are then told that it is not possible to get a receipt, but after being a little insistent that we must have it, he prints it out with a very sour look. This is the last time I will come back...

11/03/2026: As an Italian, I can say that every time you go to DaBasso, you feel right at home! The dishes are just like the ones we cook at home for big family events. The pizzas are excellent! I've been with both friends and family, and the staff has always been super welcoming and helpful. This place is a guarantee of authentic Italian style!

24/09/2025: Really nice place on a Wednesday afternoon just in the sun and a break from everyday life - coconut macaroon tasted amazing - caffe latte could definitely do with an upgrade - couldn't drink it. But otherwise really nice place☕️🌞 But

12/08/2025: It's a cozy little café in old Lyngby. Limited outdoor seating. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings and occasional author/book events. Closes early (6pm) if there are no events.

13/07/2025: Absolut den mest triste buffet man kan forestille sig, tørt og kedeligt. En salatbar der var så lunken og trist, Tzatziki så smagsløs at den kunne kaldes yoghurt neutral. Kokken anede simpelthen ikke hvad han lavede. Selv sodavand på tappehane kunne de ødelægge, forholdet mellem vand, ekstrakt og kulsyre blev til lemonade uden brus. Vi havde ikke været der før, og vi kommer der ikke igen.
