19/12/2024: Fantastically delicious burger with super crispy fries. An absolute plus is that the dip is free and homemade!
The bun was toasted and super delicious!
A single star is missing because you can get a little tired of staff who don't speak Danish...

28/03/2025: Take away d. 27/3, bestilt i god tid til 8 personer, afhentning kl 11:55. Restauranten var næsten tom, der var kun 2 borde med gæster. Alligevel ventede vi i 25 minutter på maden?!? Og maden var under standard - 179kr for en stjerneskuds sandwich??? Det var vitterlig bare fisk klasket sammen i et flute brød.
Det var så første og sidst gang vi prøver cafe Olivia.
08/03/2025: Håbløst. Bordet klistret med blå shots fra nattens fester. Ingen tallerkener i buffeten. Ingen gafler. Intet brød. Alt for få til at servere og det resulterede så også i utallige borde der stod med brugt service mm uafryddet.

14/02/2025: The service was good enough with skilled waiters and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. Where it went a little downhill was that we called 11 times to get in touch with them and the phones were down, we paid 1800 for 2 hard-boiled eggs with steamed leeks and incredibly dry meat with the watery sauce, as well as giving 75 kr for a bottle of water which we only didn't have a choice about whether we want or not.
05/12/2024: First visit to Bistro59 and I was ready to come again the next day!
This little gem in the middle of Aalborg is unique in every way
The food is fantastically prepared from the best ingredients and is served with enthusiasm by a waiter who pleasantly presents the food and advises on the best choice of wine for the individual dishes.
The harmony between food, wine, service and quality is unmistakable.
Next visit to this amazing place is in the near future

01/03/2025: Not as good as it usually is, but perfectly fine. Probably forgot a bit, never got to order more wine. The salad bar was the reason for 3 stars, this was NOT good.
28/02/2025: We were there for dinner on New Year's Eve. The food was really good, far better than I have previously experienced at Jensen's (years ago). Very welcoming and friendly staff, who clearly cared that we had a good experience. We will definitely come again.
