14/09/2026: The staff in the afternoon are more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. The cake was thrown on the counter, no eye contact, totally indifferent and wouldn't help with the app after I spent time being confused about whether it had scanned correctly. Made eye contact with another customer and we both looked at each other - both a bit shocked by the service. It was NOT busy. Only with the internal gossip.

26/09/2026: Ordered two pizzas and came out at 238kr…. The most expensive pizzas for the quality. The price on their website is apparently a children's pizza. Also, garlic costs 10kr, everywhere else this is free. Simply too bad.

20/06/2026: I have been coming to Restaurant VB for more than 25 years - today I come as often to have dinner and enjoy a cold beer. It is 7:10 PM, there is plenty of space on the terrace, and the restaurant is almost empty. I am greeted by a friendly young man who asks what I would like - and asks for a table outside and states that I would like to order dinner - we are interrupted by a blonde lady, who is apparently the young man's superior - no, we do not have room for any more orders today. It is worth noting that there are half-empty tables, an almost empty restaurant, most people have already been served - and 50 minutes until the kitchen closes and a guitarist is just about to start playing... What the hell is going on???

29/12/2025: Dry rolls, really tacky product. The breakfast pastries are without soul or love, just squeaky sweet

11/09/2026: I just needed fries for my daughter.. I order and come back 5 minutes later where I have to cut out on paper that I just ordered and paid by the same man I'm talking to.. besides that they just spoke a language I didn't understand and I felt a little like they were talking and laughing at me.. and then 50kr for a mega small fries that had been given too much.. Bad atmosphere Poor service Poor price. Well behaved.

18/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great food! The pizza was fresh, tasty and made with good ingredients. Fast service and friendly staff. Can definitely recommend Nova Pizza, and I would love to come back!

15/08/2026: A rare bright spot on the menu—the mere existence of a vegan dish—was enough to lure me to Bistro V. Such an offering is an absolute rarity in Denmark, where, regrettably, culinary awareness of purely plant-based cuisine is still in its infancy. But my initial optimism quickly gave way to profound disappointment. What was finally served reflected on the plate precisely the utter indifference with which the server had carried the food to the table. While the dish could be considered rudimentarily edible, it fell far short of the craftsmanship, visual finesse, and depth of flavor one would expect from an established restaurant. A minimum of dedication—whether in the kitchen or to the guest—could easily have salvaged this experience. As it stands, all that remains is the memory of a carelessly presented meal and the regret over wasted potential.

04/08/2026: A nice bistro opposite the Utzon Center. Waited 45 minutes in a half-empty bistro for a burger and a sandwich. The Danish guests who arrived after us were served first. Is it worth it? I think not.

07/10/2026: Poor food. Tasteless throughout. Salt and pepper could have helped a bit, but it was tame and no trace of spices. Ordered a baked pizza and the owner was totally cold and indifferent when we left the place after we had expressed our opinion. Not a place we will visit again unfortunately

04/10/2026: Ordered a jumbo burger, the bottom was almost pitch black, delicious! One of the 2 small steaks was so tough on the sides - the fries lacked salt - the old owner, who had been running a pizza restaurant for many years, was super talented - the new ones - seem indifferent.. so money out the window..think they can get away with it?? The new owner is after I moved back to Nibe, that's why! And of course the half burger buns are a shame from below you! So how you will be able to recognize it, from outside your menu is surprising! So zero stars, to cast doubt on my review. NB I ate the burger at home, at my own table, my own plate and my own cutlery.

12/11/2025: I had a very bad experience at this place, if you can call it a "restaurant". This applies to the food, the service, the staff and the place in general. In the summer it's like an oven, you can die from the heat, and in the winter it's like a refrigerator. There are a few places to sit, but it's impossible to sit quietly and relax because the place is so small that everyone who passes by bumps into you. I ordered a burger and fries... The fries were overcooked and tasteless, and the burger tasted, without exaggeration, as if it was made of cigarettes. Tobacco cigarettes. Have you ever eaten a burger made of cigarettes? I recommend visiting Salat og Burger to try it. I noticed how they prepare the food - they don't use gloves at all. That is, you first pay for the food and then eat other people's sweat and dirt left on the food. The staff... That's a completely different topic. Salat og Burger is a place where you can be humiliated and ignored if you don't speak Danish. In other words, they don't welcome tourists. If you ask: "Do you speak English?", they will answer: "You are in Denmark! No! We only speak Danish." And they will say this to you in a rude, humiliating way. Generally, the owner or an employee, a man with glasses, can send you away, shout at you and ruin your mood for no reason. Waste of money and time, questionable hygiene, lack of comfort, humiliation, shouting and bad mood are guaranteed.

01/09/2026: Used to be one of my favourite sushi places until my last order tonight. Either ownership changed or recipes, but the chicken baos are 100% not the way they used to be. What once was amazing fried chicken in sauce with plenty of cucumber and pickled onion has now become a quarter of a "chicken" patty, 1 singular cucumber slice and 4 strands of pickled onion with barely any sauce. This was an incredibly disappointing sight to see. Sushi still tastes good, salmon sticks are quite dry, and tangsalad is fine, but the baos are very downgraded from the experiences I've had in the past with them. (The first picture listed is exactly how it looked when i opened the box) Will probably not order again unfortunately

12/08/2026: I tell the man on the phone that he has to wait because I just need to ask my girlfriend what she wants and they just hang up. Bad customer service and mediocre pizza. There are many other good pizza places in Aalborg, maybe Bella Italia with excellent customer service and food and is located 100 meters from Flamestone.

28/07/2026: Super service, service-minded staff. We ate there. Only 3 stars because the quality of the pizza was not great. I think it was baked with pure wheat flour without the use of tippo flour. There was supposed to be Gorgonzola on it, but it couldn't be tasted at all. There were many Wolt delivery people picking up pizzas. So maybe I'm just better used to it! Top marks to the staff and nice and clean everywhere.
