21/08/2025: It's a gas station that's open until midnight and has a relatively well-stocked store. You fill up using a machine and credit card; you can't pay at the cash register, except for what you buy in the store.

17/10/2025: We got our food very quickly, but it was missing a pancake and even the pancake dish was NOT as described AT ALL. There were 2 tiny vanilla lumps with a splash of syrup on the plate. On the other hand, their sandwiches were super good.

04/10/2025: Add for an experience 🤮🤢 We read that it was fresh ingredients, but their Fish’n Chips were anything but fresh. The “fish” were partially frozen and their fries tasted like rancid fries. The poor waiter apologized and offered another round. My wife refused and I really should have too, because I had to give up eating it after a few mouthfuls and left the place with a sickening taste of fries in my mouth. We will never return so we were offered a free meal, ugh 😠

03/01/2026: There's no staff on hand; everything has to be done via codes, and if that doesn't work, by phone in broken English. There's a lot of noise from outside and from other guests until 6:00 a.m., climbing stairs and babbling and shouting through the hallways. At 7:00 a.m., the staff starts making noise as well, so you can't sleep here. Coffee in the room is fine, but the old pods from previous guests are still in the machine, so cleaning also leaves a lot to be desired. I'll never go back to this hotel.

26/09/2025: Friday 26-09-25 we redeemed our deal at Duoro bar, Tapas for 2. Can only give them 5 out of 5 stars for the whole experience. Maybe I was lucky with the choice of red wine, but overall experience, service, food, coziness, etc. We will definitely come back. Vh. We 2...

18/01/2026: This was by far the worst food experience I've had in Aalborg. Firstly, we tried three separate times to make a reservation for 13 (1 by website, 1 by phone and one person-to-person). The third one seemed to go through, but as we showed up today the staff was unaware of our reservation making our seating horrible. Secondly, ordering drinks was a nightmare. We we're given one order-flyer to fill out for all 13 even though the party was stretched out due to the horrible seating. Thirdly they apparently could not handle taking drinking orders from such a "huge" party. We ordered 3 cans of coffee and two came. We ordered two pitchers of water and one came. We ordered one tea, it only came when they were reminded - and it was the wrong one. We did not order any cappuccinos and one came. And the delivery of all these orderes were stretched out over a 30 min period. Fourthly, the food was bland and boring, and it was apparent most of it had been prebought at the supermarket. Eggs were runny and didn't taste of anything. Bread was basic and dry as hell. Best part of the buffet was the fruit. And a lot of the "warm" food wasn't even warm at all. Fifthtly we were never checked up on my the staff, making sure everything (or just anything) was alright. Not recommending anyone to go to this place as it's an absolute waste of money.

18/01/2026: We were a family of four for Sunday brunch at Café Min Oliva. The bill came to DKK 996 for four brunch buffets and drinks (1 Americano, 1 iced coffee, 2 lemonades, 1 small orange juice and a jug of water). At that price, we expected a brunch of significantly higher quality than what we got. The buffet gave the clear impression that the vast majority of the products were cheap discount products, several of which were directly recognizable as supermarket brands (e.g. cold cuts and cheese). It was simply not an experience that lived up to the price. Examples: • Pancakes seemed vacuum-packed and only slightly heated – the small, very sweet types. • Cinnamon rolls were reminiscent of the classic ones from a bag. • The fruit (melon/orange) was sliced ​​so thin that it was almost symbolic. • The combination of French fries next to limp, watery scrambled eggs was also a strange and unappetizing solution. The coffee was also a disappointment: far too strong, full of coffee grounds, and practically undrinkable – and I drink black coffee every day. The service was almost non-existent. There were only two employees working during a Sunday rush, and we made 1–2 trips to the buffet before we finally got our drinks. The staff only spoke English, which is not a problem in itself – but when the staffing is so low that there is almost no service, the overall impression becomes bad. When I stood at the bar to pay, I could see their bar/dishwashing station, which was overflowing with dishes and mess, which left a very unprofessional and unhygienic impression. All in all: An expensive brunch, but with the quality of a cheap discount buffet. I cannot recommend the place and will not be back.

28/12/2025: Delicious fresh food with All You Can Eat Tacos. There was plenty of food to feed two people with a good appetite. A bit chilly restaurant, but definitely worth the visit. Great service from Faysal who asked about needs and any shortcomings. Will definitely come again.

04/10/2025: VACA has really improved since I last tried it a couple of years ago. The prices are extremely fair for large burritos with lots of flavor. Nice that they have gotten a handle on not letting too much water run out of them. Can definitely be recommended to anyone who wants a good unique (for Aalborg) meal, especially with the attractive lunch specials they offer. A few more options to adjust the content, e.g. removing an ingredient or adding one more, maybe something spicy, would be the icing on the cake.

02/10/2025: I have never experienced a more rude service. We are greeted by a younger girl standing out back and shouting what we want. To this I answer once French fries. She asks if it should be a small or a large. I ask how big the difference is between the two sizes, hoping that she would show me the tubs or something. Instead she laughs provocatively and replies that one is large and the other is small. Leaves the store. I definitely intend to share my experience with my network.

25/08/2025: Wanted to buy cake take out at 17:08 and got rejected) even there were a lot of things to buy (not like they were empty). And even on door it says opened til 18:00. Hmm..

07/01/2026: The food was really not good for the price. We could see the owner sitting around and getting drunk while we were the only ones in the restaurant. Really not a recommendation from here… we had hoped so much that the restaurant would live up to our expectations.
