08/03/2025: Closed party, lots of noise from the participants' chatter and laughter. Acoustically, the room is not suitable for this type of company - only possible to communicate with the man/woman next to you, almost impossible to hear what is being said on the other side of the table

17/04/2025: We are very impressed and extremely satisfied. We got the Store Raaling menu, with 5 servings, snacks, sweet and wine menu. All dishes were super delicious and well prepared, nicely arranged and presented. We have not experienced the wines being better matched since Molskroen. An experience at the very top and far beyond expectations. Cool evening. Recommended. We will come again.

20/02/2025: There were 2 of us and we got wiener schnitzel and it was so delicious, this is my 1st visit, but definitely not the last.

19/04/2025: Paid approx. DKK 1300 per person. Strange attempt at fusion between Latin American and Danish (and obviously Italian, Spanish and French) cuisine. It was not to our liking. Bad cocktails. When you offer a drink menu with the food, you have to expect that they have a handle on their craft, but that was not the case. They served a spicy margarita for welcome which was nice. Then it was mango slushie with mezcal (who the hell serves that with a meal???). Followed by mojito (where's the Latin American liquor??). Then asked to be moved to wine, which was also nothing to shout about. I have two tips for the Mexican-crazy Aalborg resident: - if you like good authentic Mexican food and balanced cocktails, go to El Mariachi instead (also only 1/3 the price). - if you are into a modern gourmet interpretation of Latin American cuisine, buy a train ticket and go to Cinco in Aarhus. With the train ticket included, it is also cheaper and many times better. Their cocktails are also experimenting but delicious.

26/03/2025: Super cozy place, but there are going to be a lot of young people. A pity when it is a place for those who have rounded the "young" limit. The toilets are really, really not nice to visit. Not even in the evening.

08/12/2024: This was our second visit to EMIL - and still can't put a finger on the food, absolutely value for money. Service, on the other hand, is very young and untrained, and it is quite clear that explanations about food and wine are learned parrot talk. We ordered Store Emil with a wine menu. The recommendation is to skip the wine menu and buy glasses or bottles from the menu. What does a glass of beer do in a wine menu? And a natural wine with such a special (unpleasant) smell and taste that even the waiter told us that it 'often split the waters' - so change it! The story of recycling cutlery is still the same - we want to save water and protect the environment.... Why do you have such small towels in the toilets that have to be washed after each person?? The music may not be suitable for a fish restaurant, but it is nice that Minds Of 99's EMIL runs in rotation, and is played four or five times during the evening. The conclusion is - Good and nice food, polite but untrained staff, overpriced and weak wine menu... so it will probably be a while before we try again.
